TWW - could do with some company

Hi all. Just starting my 11th tww. According to Ovia I have 11 days until I should POAS. I'll add my stats below, but basically I could just do with a bit of company and support this cycle, as the ttc is starting to get me down (I've had one miscarriage at 8wks back in January, but nothing postive since ). I would love to conceive this cycle as its my two year anniversary in October and it would be lovely to surprise my DH with some good news SmileThanks

Age 35
Ttc #1
Cycle 11
CD 16
Peak OPK on CD 14, so testing on 28th sept according to Ovua

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie posting in ttc threads (or any threads actually) and I'm also a newbie ttc. Stats are:

I'm 29, ttc #1, cycle 1, AF is due in 4 days according to Ovia.

Had the implant removed end of August, didn't try properly until this month. I'm slowly learning all the ttc jargon, and finding out all this information I didn't know that I didn't know!

Is this isn't my month, I'm going to try using opks next month and if still nothing, I'm going to try temping the following month. Does that sound sensible or should I try everything available from the start?

I've bought some tests but too nervous to poas yet. If AF hasn't arrived by Wednesday (as predicted by Ovia) I'll poas then.

MoonlightMojitos · 07/10/2016 12:38

Aw sorry to hear that minnie :( fx for next cycle for you xx

minniewinnie · 07/10/2016 10:17

Hi all, well af joined us during our holiday, so onwards and upwards to next month! I hope it's all going smoothly for you Moonlight, and fingers crossed for those of you who are still waiting :) x

minnie how are you getting on?! I've been really ill last few days so just catching up on everything! Hope you get a chance to check in soon and update us!

PiliPala35 · 01/10/2016 14:10

Age 35. First time ttc, DTD Day 9, 12 & 13 - OV Day 14.
It's only been a day and the wait is already unbearable. I wish I could stop thinking about whether I did everything right. The lack of control over any of it can be quite overwhelming.
Fingers crossed for those of you close to testing day - keep us updated.x

minniewinnie · 30/09/2016 08:44

Hi Ru, well you never know. My mum told me about how my parents planned for me, she came off the pill for a week and then my dad got made redundant... but I was already there! Now I don't know the complete accuracy of that (prob romanticised somewhat), but it does happen, albeit rarely Smile

I'm 14 dpo, no af yet! I couldn't get any extra tests to bring with us, so I'm having to be incredibly patient and waiting to see if I come on or not, lol. No spotting yet, which is a good sign Grin x

Thanks lousy! I think I know that that's going to be the case but also have a bit of wishful thinking! Lol!

lousylear · 29/09/2016 18:37

I had merina removed on July 25. Last month I was convinced I was pg. had all the signs. Had a 38 day cycle which I've never had before and had the heaviest AF I've ever had. It also lasted 10 days with lots of cramping. I think AF takes a while to settle down after merina removal.

Ru14 · 29/09/2016 11:05

Ok I am 8dpo (i think Confused) and also 8 days after having Mirena removed. Cramping and spotting today & nipples are itchy/ tingl! Could this be implantation or is my AF just out of whack because I haven't had one whilst on the Mirena?

MoonlightMojitos · 27/09/2016 22:29

Oh have a lovely time minnie! I'd love a holiday, very jealous! Have a nice chill out and definitely keep us posted!

minniewinnie · 27/09/2016 21:38

Oh Turquoise, sorry this month wasn't you one Sad, onwards and upwards though, like Moonlight said fx next month is your lucky one x

I'm off to Greece tomorrow, so I'll prob be offline for a while and will update you guys when I can get wifi, lol! I'm still hopeful, because until af turns up you're still in the game !! Good luck to everyone else, and keep us updated Moonlight, you never know we might be seeing you in the pregnancy forum soon Grin xx

minnie a midnight pee 😂. Here's hoping you have luck with FMU soon! I did think my poas results seem to be very strong so must have implanted very early I guess or dare I say twins

Thanks turquoise! I'm cycle 3 since mc, so fx 3 is the magic number for you too! There's nothing you could have done or known about the mmc hun so try not to let it get you too down. Just one of those absolutely crappy things. I just think it's so sad that it's so common yet we just don't talk or know about it until it happens to us.

TurquoiseDress · 27/09/2016 11:46

Moonlight

How exciting! hope all goes smoothly, it is early days though I suppose, but if it's meant to be it will be.

I got my period on CD 31 so onto cycle 3 now.

Feels a bit weird as it's never taken this long before- I know this is NOT a long time AT ALL, but compared to my previous 2 pregnancies it's taking longer & since the miscarriage I just want to be pregnant again.

Also, trying not to think that any future due date is going to be 6 months or more after my previous due date (Nov 2016).

Have been thinking about the missed MC over the last few days, feeling quite angry with my body for letting me get to 13 weeks before we found out.

Just wish it had all happened at 6 weeks or something, so we could've got on with TTC again as quick as possible!

Also, had so much spotting for almost 8 weeks following the MC which made TTC difficult at times- hardly puts you in the mood!

Good luck to all of you who are about to test...fingers crossed

Ru14 · 27/09/2016 10:51

Still early days- particularly for the digital test! Fingers crossed for the next few days!x

minniewinnie · 27/09/2016 08:46

11dpo, poas this morning (hoping for some of moonlights good fortune to rub off Grin), but a bfn. It was a digital cb test though (and I had a midnight pee), so I'll keep my fingers crossed and test in two days - looks like I'll be packing some pee sticks in my luggage, lol!! X

I know! I actually feel a bit ridiculous! The chances of falling pregnant the day I got my coil removed are so slim and then I'm terrified in case I am pregnant and my body isn't ready to house an egg yet. I dread to think how I'll be if I'm at this a few months Confused
TTC #2 so looking out for familiar symptoms but the hormone withdrawal symptoms are so similar Hmm Men have it easy, OH hasn't a care in the world lol

minniewinnie · 26/09/2016 20:29

Wow Moonlight! The 1-2 was st 10dpo ... that must be a strong positive! I'm keeping my fingers crossed this is a good omen for the rest of us the thread Grin x

Hi Ru, all welcome. Only a few more days before you can poas! Ttc (for me) has been a monthly rollercoaster, so welcome - hopefully you get your bfp quickly and can avoid the madness, lol x

Ru14 · 26/09/2016 19:51

Can I join?! I feel a bit silly- had my Mirena removed on Wed 21/09/16. I had an internal scan at removal which said I was ovulating at that time so said "what the hell, no time like the present" as the doc said there's no issues with trying straight away. We DTD 2 days before removal and on the Wed. I've all the symptoms but assuming this is from the removal. Really just a waiting game to confirm I'm not pregnant! Going mad though (left work today at lunch time to buy a test...6DPO!!) so could use the company!

MoonlightMojitos · 26/09/2016 17:43

Here's today's test 😂

TWW - could do with some company
MoonlightMojitos · 26/09/2016 17:41

I'm getting twinges today minnie, really hoping its because thing are going on in there as they should rather than bad news. Trying not worry too much as the stress isn't good but it's hard not to be anxious after a mc. I don't think I'll relax until past 12 weeks really.

I've retested a few times lol, got bfp on clearblue too so that's a good sign :)

Getting closer to test day for you!

minniewinnie · 26/09/2016 12:03

Hi everyone! 9dpo for me, I'm getting my usual twinges which I seem to get every month plus slightly achey boobs. It's funny, before I was ttc I would have said the only time I had any twinges etc were during my period, I obviously never noticed how much you feel a throughout the cycle too (I get this every month, so I'm not getting my hopes up ... more than usual). Are you peeing your way through your cheapies Moonlight? I would be using one every chance I get, esp with a faint positive, lol! X

OP posts:
MoonlightMojitos · 25/09/2016 18:47

Thanks! Very excited but also very nervous, especially as I tested so early so trying not to get my hopes up too much yet. How are you feeling today? Getting close for you now!

minniewinnie · 25/09/2016 09:17

OMG Moonlight! Congratulations, that's amazing news! I bet you must be over the moon Smile. It's so lovely to hear some good news on the ttc front, plus apparently if you conceive within 6 months of mc some say there is a lower chance of a second MC :) x

OP posts:
MoonlightMojitos · 25/09/2016 08:53

How are you doing minnie? I caved yesterday (completely crazy at 9dpo!) and got a faint positive! I'm going to wait a few more days and test again with FMU probably Tuesday or even Wednesday if I can hold out til then as I know it's still very early days. Fx for your BFP and we will be due date buddies! I just really hope this one sticks.

minniewinnie · 24/09/2016 07:18

Whoops, was meant to send that yesterday to EJ! Darn app. I'm all good, 8dpo - i think the MC had the same effect on me, all I wanted was to get preggers straight away, but my body is taking its sweet ass time. Oh well, this month is prob my best chance yet, just by my DH actually being here to dtd on ov (the last few months we've had to dtd in the days leading up as he's been away with for work so much). Good luck Turquoise, there are so many people who say they have no symptoms with dpo, and remember, you have exactly the same chance as every other month x
