Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

Good luck to everyone!!! Flowers

I'm hoping to have a homebirth this time so I want a repeat or quicker!

Yes as tinkerbell says, it supposedly increases EWCM. It should be taken up until ovulation only and not during the 2WW though. I took it this cycle and definitely saw a big difference

PurpleHaze1 · 29/09/2016 14:18

I was a pre labour EPO & RLT taker as well. I had a straightforward labour but obviously no idea if it's related or if it would've happened that way anyway. I'll be doing it again in case it was linked though!

Tinkerbell2319 · 29/09/2016 14:03

Mrs I might be wrong but I heard it helps your CM if taken in the weeks leading up to ov?

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 29/09/2016 13:56

Flashing mine was similar. 3cm to OMG it's there there's no time to get her to the labour ward in less than 45 minutes. I shall be avoiding EPO then as they say the 2nd is quicker than the 1 and I'm already looking at a 2 hour labour. What's its benefits preconception?

NappingRabbit · 29/09/2016 13:49

Wow Flashing that must have been v intense! I also took RLT and drank it by the bucketload. Every little helps!

Thanks, I think it is probably AF playing tricks on me but time will tell. Even if it turns up in a day or two it means my luteal phase isn't as horribly short as I thought. Just bought some more FRERs just in case.

FlashingLights · 29/09/2016 13:30

napping I also took EPO at the end of my last pregnancy - no idea if it had any bearing but I went from 4cm to having a baby in 17 minutes. So I'll also be taking it this time around! I was also taking RLT capsules top.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that it was an implantation bleed you had.

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 29/09/2016 13:28

Napping what's the saying? As fertile as a teenager at a party. I'm going to give it a go if I get a BFP this cycle too. I'm not a big fan of needles though, so might have to get DH to drag me there.

I bought Boots own his and hers this morning, fingers crossed I'll start to feel a bit more normal very soon. Also bought folic acid and vit d in the hope I get my BFP.

Tinkerbell2319 · 29/09/2016 13:27

Napping ah awesome well fx I can just leave it in the back of the cupboard until then! Hope yours is implantation bleeding, if it's stopped already and only 8 dpo that sounds promising Smile not out then Grin

Me9an · 29/09/2016 13:21

Mouse i guess that's what's inside the amazon package that arrived addressed to my husband this morning!!! Might have to play a little game of hide and seek GrinFootball

NappingRabbit · 29/09/2016 13:17

That was me MrsP, I've heard good things about it so think I will give it a go if AF shows.

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 29/09/2016 13:09

I can't remember who mentioned acupuncture, but I know someone who tried for 2 years. She started acupuncture and got pregnant quite quickly. When do docs start takin you seriously with fertility tests? I thought it was after 1 year (unless you fib) which I'm more happy to do.

Writer mine fell asleep on the way home. Lunch in peace. Bliss!

I think even if you think you've ovulated you should give it a go. You never know. My friend got pregnant on the last of her period. She though she was 'safe'. I'm sure we all know 'that girl'.

NappingRabbit · 29/09/2016 13:05

Tinkerbell if you do get pregnant this cycle the EPO won't be wasted as you can use it in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy to ripen your cervix for labour. I don't know whether it makes a different or not, but I took it and had a 4.5hr first labour no pain relief. I will def be taking it again next time just in case it did help!

Just been to the loo and bleeding seems to have stopped Confused So I'm very cautiously wondering whether it might have been implantation bleeding rather than AF. It's about the right timing (8/9DPO) and I've been getting some light stabby pains the side I ovulated this morning. I'm sure I'm just massively overthinking but the possibility of not being completely out for this cycle has cheered me up, if only temporarily.

SoozC · 29/09/2016 12:58

You guys are all crazy but you make me laugh! I think I'm approaching ov, got dtg booked in with DP for tomorrow (not that he knows that's what I'm calling it!!) as I'm knackered tonight. Fx for a +opk this evening and a temp hike tomorrow!

Good luck girls. I still feel this is going to be a lucky bus, if not for me but I'm starting fertility tests next cycle (#9).

Tinkerbell2319 · 29/09/2016 12:39

Teehee good luck mimilicious and rest of the bus :P fx

MouseLove · 29/09/2016 12:39

I've just realised. Fifa is released today.... I might have to use it at my DTD bargaining chip. GrinFootballHalo

Tinkerbell2319 · 29/09/2016 12:37

Just catching up and giggling in work at "DTG" Grin

Tried an ov test spontaneously today just because I was hoping to get an idea of which app was closest regarding my FW ... One of them reckons ov day will be tomorrow but I reckon it might have been a day or two ago, the test only had a faint line today so will do another tomorrow and see if it's gone (in which case I'm assuming ovia was right and it was earlier) or darker (in which case the original one I was using was closer) does that make sense as an experiment? Lol

DH is getting super excited this month as its our first properly "trying" but maybe a bit too optimistic idk it's lovely that he's excited but I'm worried that if it doesn't happen it'll be a major letdown but he said "it would be disappointing whether I'm this excited now or not so might as well enjoy it while it lasts" whereas I'm going for cautiously optimistic but at the same time I bought EPO today ready to try for the next cycle ... Whilst hoping that it turns out to be money wasted :P just worried he's got his hopes up and it's going to get hard if it doesn't happen as soon as we hope, weird trying to navigate all these emotions isn't it... Kind of relieved to be on holiday with distractions during 2WW!

Mimilicious013 · 29/09/2016 12:35

Woo the bus is on a roll and have giggled quite a bit catching up.lots of ewcm here so dtg tonight Grin

Rooting for all those testing soon fx and hope af stays away.

Enjoy lots of dtg lol to all nearing ov

Writerwannabe83 · 29/09/2016 12:21

DTG Grin

Also quite amused at the idea we should be shagging like feral cats in order to achieve conception Grin

I'm sat in a car park, doing nothing, whilst my toddler sleeps in the back in his car seat. I plan on sitting here until he wakes up but I'm desperate for a wee Sad

Thanks Napping & Captain ! Feeling exhausted today but it's definitely too early for anything pregnancy related !!!

NappingRabbit · 29/09/2016 12:13

Mouse maybe DTD today just in case?

MundayCakes85 · 29/09/2016 12:13

I might have a go at DTG tonight Grin
Can't believe how much I have to catch up on! I guess that's what happens when you fall asleep on the sofa during the bake off!
That definitely looks positive to me purple- better get busy Wink

NappingRabbit · 29/09/2016 12:12

Yep, I'd say you probably ovulated on the 26th.

CaptainWarbeck · 29/09/2016 12:11

Oh wait I read that wrong! So 3dpo I'd say?

CaptainWarbeck · 29/09/2016 12:10

Can't tell Me9an, different people ovulate at different points in their cycle. But that sounds like you ovulated on the 26th. So wait two weeks after that date to test Smile

Me9an · 29/09/2016 12:07

Hahaaa DTG did make me giggle!!!

I got a positive ovulation test on the 25th and 26th then a negative on the 27th, how many dpo am I?
