Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

Good luck to everyone!!! Flowers

Flapper, I would say you'll get a positive tomorrow or Sunday and ov Sunday or Monday. So yes, dtd tomorrow, Sun and Mon. Good luck!

MissMagpie · 30/09/2016 21:13

My OH just looked over my shoulder and asked what all the gorilla references were about!!! Grin

You guys definitely cheer me up if I am feeling a bit down.

I am pleased to report that any ovarian cyst pain has stopped and I am showing signs of the usual cm starting to show. Hoping things will progress from here....

I watched Bridget Jones's Baby last night. It was very funny but I did think it was slightly unfair that she got pregnant so easily!!

MundayCakes85 · 30/09/2016 21:12

Yay misstiggi that's a lovely BFP there Grin Congratulations!!

Flappergirl86 · 30/09/2016 21:05

MotherofUnicorns · 30/09/2016 20:49

I weed in a plastic cup from the kids tupperware drawer ..... i put it straight in the dishwasher afterwards but i will never tell them! I am also a terrible aim and have thought of using an old potty to be honest. It might be neater.....

Me9an · 30/09/2016 20:40

Congratulations tiggi!!!

I've had some pretty sharp pains on the left this evening, only 4dpo, anyone ever had this? Had to stop what I was doing for a good 20secs because of the pain Hmm

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 30/09/2016 20:27

sk1pper · 30/09/2016 20:26

misstiggiwinkle · 30/09/2016 19:53

Ladies, sorry to have been mia this bus. I have been lurking. When I hopped on at the beginning we were into cycle 11 of ttc I think and I just had had enough this month. I'm temping, doing oaks, etc but just getting nowhere. Have started tests through the GP who has been brilliant even though I already have one ds (19mo) and just waiting on the results.

Well...I'm currently 12dpo and fell asleep at lunchtime on the sofa (not something I do normally) also didn't like the smell of my expensive perfume this morning...

So I thought I'd do a test...

Am I dreaming or is that a squinter??

Writerwannabe83 · 30/09/2016 19:43

I pee in one of my DS's little plasticine tubs Grin

My gut feeling is saying it hasn't happened this month. When I was pregnant with DS and when I was pregnant earlier this year I just knew I was pregnant before even getting my BFP and I'm definitely not feeling like that this month Sad

Napping from what I understand if your cycle is 'normal' then you don't need it but for those with Fertility problems it can 'fix' them. You can take up to 800mg (don't know if that's high or not). In studies it's been known to correct fertility problems allowing women who shouldn't to conceive.

PurpleHaze1 · 30/09/2016 19:18

Ha ha sk1pper! Grin

I still have the pee pots the MWs use from when I was pregnant with DD so I use one of them. It's the perfect vessel!

sk1pper · 30/09/2016 18:50

My OH was horrified when he realised the White pot in the bathroom was my testing pee pot. He was like "what if I drank from it without realising it?" And I'm just like "in what situation would you need to drink from it? Hmm" and then he stares at me and walked away.

MouseLove · 30/09/2016 18:30

I've actually been thinking about what I can pee in. I might have to hide a dedicated pee bowl in the bathroom.

NappingRabbit · 30/09/2016 18:28

That's interesting MrsP. I've taken Pregnacare before without any issue but this is a higher dose so who knows. I'm def not taking it tomorrow! Will see if I feel better without it.

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 30/09/2016 18:25

Skipper don't now, there's a family history of twins!

Flapper I'll sponsor a gorilla if the Gods bless me with one baby.

Napping I've been reading up on B6 today. I think it's the reason why Pregnancare mess up my periods and make me feel unwell. Or you could be with child Smile

I really hope we get some BFPs this weekend. Good luck everyone and happy DTG to anyone else in the same boat as me!

Happy Weekend Grin Wine

purplebella · 30/09/2016 18:23

And what we pee in!!

purplebella · 30/09/2016 18:23

I love how much gorillas have now become part of our lives!!

Flappergirl86 · 30/09/2016 18:15

A contact lens case! Its about the same size as a film canister. I find its the perfect size for catching a good sized sample without running the risk of spillages or splashback. Its also got a handy lid in case
I have to evacuate the bathroom for any reason. A quick in and out mid-stream and I'm good to go! What does everyone else use?

skipper I'll take that bet. If anyone has twins though they have to sponsor a Gorilla for life as a nod to the Gods.

NappingRabbit · 30/09/2016 18:08

Feeling quite sick this afternoon. If I'm not pregnant then I either react badly to vitamin B complex or I'm coming down with something.

I've had a bit more spotting today but no AF. I spotted loads when pregnant with DS - almost every day from before BFP to about 11 weeks - so it's not necessarily a bad sign. I just want to know now one way or the other! You'd think AF was weeks overdue the way I've been overthinking (and overtesting), I'm only bloody 9/10dpo.
