Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

Good luck to everyone!!! Flowers

Does anyone think that at the bottom of each post we write we should add a signature as such of what cycle we are on and what say we are on?

It's really hard trying to remember everyone's details/stats so it would be really handy if we could see it at the bottom of people's posts as opposed to trawling back or keep asking them? For example at the bottom of my posts I would write:

(TTC#2, miscarriage on Cycle 1 and now on Cycle 6. 11/12 dpo)

Congratulations napping, that's fantastic news! How many dpo are you?

Congrats to Tigi today, that's amazing!

Sorry to sk1pper and writer for feeling like af is on the way.

I'm going to do a frer tomorrow morning, I'll be 10 dpo then. I'm feeling hopeful, my boobs are still painful, which I never remember having before and don't think I had with ds1. On Thursday I was trying to convince my OH that my boobs looked bigger and he said they just looked bruised, so I looked in the mirror and it wasn't bruising, it's massive blue veins going from top to bottom of both boobs! Also had more dizziness and felt a bit nauseous the last couple of days (although that bit could be in my head). Here's to a day of distraction and positive thinking! Happy Saturday ladies!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 07:51

I completely missed your post napping!!!

Fantastic news Smile Flowers

Sorry sk1pper Sad

Napping can you remind us of your stats? So happy for you!

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday. I had cramps & got a rise this morning. Will need to wait a few days before FF confirms it. Unfortunately DH wasn't up for any gorilla action last night so I'm a bit gutted. We did DTG on Thursday night so I'm just hoping that was enough. I'd really really love a BFP this month as a June baby would be perfect but nothing I can do now except sit back & wait...

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 07:43

Nope but dreaming about gorillas in what way? Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 07:42

It's been 12 days since my positive OPK and 11 days since I had my ovulation pains and still the whitest BFN this morning.

My period is due on Monday so I was kind of hoping to see something by now.

I keep clinging on to the though that when I was pregnant with DS I didn't actually get my BFP until the day my period was due despite testing for about 4-5 prior to that.

When I was pregnant earlier this year I got my BFP about 9 days after my positive OPK but that ended in miscarriage so an early line obviously isn't a sign of a 'good' pregnancy in my case anyway.

I think my sense of logic and sanity has gone a bit awry this month - deep down I know I'm not pregnant. I'm feeling disappointed obviously but even more so seeing as DH is away during October's FW Sad

ali - I didn't dream about Gorillas, I unfortunately dreamt about young girls bring groomed and forced to have sex against their will, and murders and violence. Lovely eh?

sk1pper - I'm sorry you feel like you're our this cycle, but as you said, you can focus on the positive that you won't have to cancel your wedding Flowers

Congrats Napping and sorry to all those who feel AF is coming.

Has anyone else been dreaming about gorillas?!

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 07:08

napping - congratulations, amazing :D xx

I'm a definite out, my temp has dropped below the base line (massive massive drop) and PMS this morning. AF will be on schedule. Boo :(

PurpleHaze1 · 01/10/2016 07:04

Oh my god napping!!! Congratulations! GrinGrin

Mouse be kind to yourself, you're handling things just fine.

sk1pper sorry Flowers

sk1pper · 30/09/2016 23:33

mouse - well there are stories online of people conceiving straight after coming off the pill. But the likelihood is your body will need 1 or 2 months to adapt. Remember you've been artificially balancing your hormones to not conceive for god knows how long. Your body will get there but you've got to give it a little bit of time.

If there is one thing I could change about my early cycles, it would be to do OPKs so I'd know exactly when I ovulated. I doubt it would be taking me this long if I'd taken it a little more seriously, so maybe introduce a few positive things to help your body on its way. Xx

Sk1pper. Sending hugs xxx CakeChocolateWine

MouseLove · 30/09/2016 23:16

Mini meltdown alert.

Just had a little wobble with DH about something minor and he said "wow I can't tell you're due on, you've got pmt" and I couldn't help but cry. Bless him he's just cuddled me and apologised and said all the right things to make it right. But I can't help feeling like I'm being completely stupid.

I know there's no chance of me being pregnant 15 days off the damn pill but that doesn't stop me wishing I was. I know I'm waiting for AF so why is my body playing tricks on me. Grrr I feel so disappointed in how I'm handling this. Sad

Tinkerbell2319 · 30/09/2016 23:13

Brilliant news tiggi Smile hoping for lots more BFPs on this bus... If so I might have to find some sort of gorilla lucky charm Grin

Feeling a bit bloaty and belly achey today no idea why ... Pretty sure I'm in 2WW territory now, estimating 2/3dpo but only did one opk out of interest yesterday that only had a faint line and not started doing bbt etc yet so hard to be sure Confused ovia reckons 10 days until I can test but idk we'll see might leave it longer if I can muster the willpower as my cycles aren't the most regular last month was a super long cycle so will be continuing to DTG every other day or so just in case lol

sk1pper · 30/09/2016 23:09

I think I'm out :( red spotting now. Gutted but not too gutted, this was my win-win cycle, if I'd conceived I'd have to rearrange my wedding. Good luck to my other weekend testers xx

SoozC · 30/09/2016 22:41

I'm so glad it's happened for you after so long, tiggi. Definite fx for a sticky bean Smile

Elles85 · 30/09/2016 22:29

Thanks sk1pper and Writerwannabe83. It is early to have symptoms but I can't help over analysing. It's taken over my life!

misstiggiwinkle · 30/09/2016 22:14

Thanks everyone! I can't quite believe it. Desperate for it to be a sticky one. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to see that line though. We were starting to think of ivf etc and going to put a building project on hold as we'd need the £ to do it. I'd also stopped religiously taking my vits and being super careful with caffeine/alcohol during the tww as I just couldn't be bothered anymore.

I feel quite different to last time I was pregnant which is what threw me. No need to pee more, not crying over anything, no sore boobs. Just feel pretty knackered (although I'm always tired with a terror of a toddler) and I slightly felt like I was coming down with something yesterday. Oh and I've had loads of cm during the tww which I thought was a little odd.

Really hope this is a bus packed with bfps

SoozC · 30/09/2016 22:02

And sk1pper, you did make me laugh explaining the cup to your OH!

SoozC · 30/09/2016 22:00

Congrats tiggi!

I had a +opk around 11am today and a negative at 6pm. The positive means I'm going to ovulate in 12-36 hours but when does the LH surge fade; before ov? Any ideas when I may have ovulated? We dtg tonight so I'm hoping it's good timing-wise but I'm confusing myself. And I don't really get ov pains...

Writerwannabe83 · 30/09/2016 22:00

Well, I've had some funny aches and cramps and shooting pains this evening....so now I'm thinking maybe there is a chance?

Elles - I've given up trying to second guess or predict anything. I hope it turns out to be something good though!!!

Why do we torture ourselves like this???

OP posts:
sk1pper · 30/09/2016 21:58

Second BFP and not even October yet. A lucky bus already!

Flapper - don't freak out, it's not positive yet so I recon you'll ovulate Sunday with a positive tomorrow.

Magpie - that's good news :) I've heard about this film - not sure it's my cup of tea

Elles - not sure what it could be but i feel like you should be a little too early for symptoms of that kind. Keep a record of it though, you never know

Elles85 · 30/09/2016 21:41

Seriously, I'm cramping like its the first day of my period. Cramping in the front, in my back, even aching down low in my hoo ha! Um...is this a good sign? I'm 5dpo

Flappergirl86 · 30/09/2016 21:31

Thanks ali that's reassuring!
magpie glad to hear your womb is behaving again. x
