Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Yeh london he's not a bad one at all Smile he's even crushing walnuts in to his cereal each morning lol it definitely does help not feel soo alone.

hep your right. Although it's devastating to go through it does make you realise what your both made off. Since my mc I think he has seen how much I want this and he has realised the same. We are both the kind off people who generally are good at getting what we want. By that I mean if we want something new car, holiday, change job etc.... then we will figure out what needs done and do it. Guess that's why this is soo difficult because you can do loads to help but at the end of the day it's not really something we completely control Sad

I totally get where your coming from alexia this was me last af. I made the mistake of reading up on mc and there was lots stuff saying how fertile you are after mc. Like it was a case of wait till the bleeding stops and your bfp will appear a couple of weeks later. Not the case for me either, like you my cycles are shot to pieces!! Angry

I really feel like I have put a lot of stress on myself since the mc and it's taken its toll on me in ways I'm only now just realising.

wing moose we will get there, ours is just a different journey from what we expected Smile

AlexiaB · 22/09/2016 15:09

Peaches that's sweet of your DH. Mine takes tablets and thing, we aren't really drinkers but he does smoke which really annoys me.

Jem sorry about your DH's SA, hopefully a follow up in 3 months will prove this to be nothing much to worry about (hopefully you're upduffed before then anyway!)

Sorry Alice Flowers and everyone else who got AF Flowers

I took some time out because I've been feeling really, really down. My chart appeared to show ovulation and either my shitty BBT thermometer has broken since or I haven't actually ovulated. I'm on cd33 (last cycle was 26 days) and I just give up with my fucked messed up body. I just want AF to arrive asap so I at least know I ovulated on cd23. I wish I was one of those perfect people who ovulate like clockwork each cycle and have perfect little 28 day cycles. I know I shouldn't expect much after my mc but this whole year has been a shit show and a roller coaster I just want to get off. I'm fed up of trying, I'm fed up of being forced to have sex, I'm just fed up of this taking over my life. I hate TTC! DH and I are shit at making babies we should probably just accept this now. Sorry for the me, me, me post but I needed somewhere to vent my frustration. TTC is hard enough as it is without having messed up cycles. It's honestly draining and the biggest waste of time ever Sad

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 14:26

winging I ovulated on day 18 a few cycles ago - unheard of for me. I think it was stress and being a bit under the weather. Hang in there I'm sure it will come.

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 14:25

Moose this thought has occurred to me a few times too. Back in the heady days of January when I first started trying - I was shocked it didn't happen first time! Massive idiot. I'm actually so glad to have more knowledge of it now though and such an appreciation of what a miracle it is to conceive. Also said to DH the other day that it will be all the sweeter when it does finally happen.

Really don't know what I'd do without this place SmileWineBrewCake

Mooseville · 22/09/2016 14:02

Sorry Alice AF sucks....

I kept dreaming all last night that AF had arrived. Had the usual restless legs, but she's still not here! Not totally due till Sat on day 27 but last month was a 24 day cycle so it's anytime now really... Think the legs were just from being on my feet all day! Angry

I just had a thoughtful moment for us, we all started off on this thread with such high hopes (I was so sure I'd get pregnant first cycle! - I mean what an idiot!!!) and now we're discussing tests and infertility options. Really feel for you girls who have really been through it too.
But I'm loving that other than a few wobbles, the PMA lives on. I do believe that we will all end up with our little ones, one way or the other and all these struggles will be forgotten....

WingingIt83 · 22/09/2016 13:11

Still no positive opk or ewcm in cd16 now :-(

Is it possible Epo or AC has delayed ovulation? Might stop the epo and just take AC for rest of the month. Last night was first night DH wasn't able to perform on demand so perhaps a good thing. Temps don't suggest I've missed ov as all been quite low in general since hitting FW.

peaches I too had aspirations of surprising DH/mum/sis etc with a surprise birthday bpf but so many of those have come and gone now.

HepKestrel · 22/09/2016 12:46

peaches my OH has agreed to cut down drinking for ~10 days each month around my FW. When we started ttc, we were very much "no stress- lets see what happens, what will be will be blah blah blah....". This mc has made us both real how much we want it.

It is so much easier being on the same page as OH ! I didn't know how mine would cope (or me even!) with bfns, bfps, mmc, erpc etc, but he was just what I needed him to be. he would be a fantastic father.

(he also wants to arrange work so he can look after GrumpyOldCat for my next work trip ! poor GrumpyOldCat, he is slowing down, and sometimes looks unsteady with his arthritis, but apart from odd days, he is enjoying food, ear scratches and cuddles. )

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 12:20

Sorry alice Flowers it's shite, take care WineChocolate

Your oh sounds very considerate peaches it definitely helps to feel you're a team and not alone

Peaches8Posies · 22/09/2016 11:14

Hello ladies. Managed to injure my wrist doing DIY all weekend so no typing or dtd for me until last night Angry

Anyway..... kwick alice soo sorry the bitch has arrived!

hep glad your still being upbeat and positive. I'll take a ticket from you for 17th Oct.

It's OH bday next month had visions of saying yeh happy bday I'm finally upduffed, so probably won't happen Hmm need to chant some of these PMA with you all!

Don't know whether to mention the supplements to OH. he's pretty on board with anything that can help. He has decided to stop drinking until his bday to try help give us a boost too. I'm glad he's like this helps me feel it's not just me trying hard Smile

Lost of doc appointments it's good to share and get the best info/help. Soo much more constructive Smile. I had a scan of my uterus a couple months back after my mc. Apart from a couple of very small fibriods which I already knew about the everything seems fine. Went over the report with my GP and she said to summarise there's nothing wrong with you. So just trying to dtd as often as we can and waiting on something happening.

Just been asked this morning when I'm planning on having a baby, hmmm.... Angry

purpleladybird · 22/09/2016 11:01

I listened to the Radio 4 programme. Very sad but also very interesting.

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 08:39

Thanks so much for the info geeup DH is considering the proxeed. He's got his GP appointment in a week or so, so we will see what they say too.

Interesting hearing all this talk of IVF on the news this morning. They were interviewing a woman about her experience of it - quite refreshing to hear someone talking honestly about how it feels to try and not succeed. I find it very hard to accept that the number of cycles of IVF offered on the NHS is such a lottery. Really hope my uterus wakes up and we don't have to go down this route.

HepKestrel · 22/09/2016 08:30

really sorry kwick

if you do have hives, your body is telling you you are stressed. take it easy - from someone who skipped two AFs due to stress.

Flowers
purpleladybird · 21/09/2016 21:49

So sorry kwick. I've been following your story and had LSFX for you in droves.

I didn't watch the fertility programme last night. I did wonder if she would announce a pregnancy. I don't think I want to watch really, I can't see I have much to gain from knowing 'it is hard to conceive, but people do'.

I want OH to watch the BBC Human Body with Robert Winston called 'Everyday Miracle'. If you've not seen it I recommend it. Hideously dated (the baby they followed will be at uni now!!) but really interesting and confirms what we all know: 'have sex, and have it often'.

It's not on YouTube, you need to google it.

geeup · 21/09/2016 21:40

Kwick - so sorry that troll AF showed up. Wine choc and Netflix/Xbox for you.
London - yes that's Proxeed. It is cripplingly expensive esp as you take 2 sachets a day but Dr Ramsay had clinical studies showing it worked. We did Fertilaid as well as Pycnogenol, vit c etc for 6 months with no noticeable difference so hoping this does the trick. You need 3 mths for spermies to renew so good to wait that long before you do another test to see if it's "worked".
Ramsay cost about £200 for an appointment I think which is roughly the same as other fertility docs although I think we paid another £800 or so for extensive tests for OH (stds, blood work, antibodies etc) which you might not have to do. Money well spent for proper advice we thought - well it took pressure off OH who was panicking and blaming himself massively.

Mooseville · 21/09/2016 21:27

Wow - that was a lot to catch up on! Work been crazy this week, done 26 hours overtime already and it's only Wednesday evening!!! Aargh - so tired!!

kwick sorry about AF. I'm awaiting her arrival here too. Still symptomless here and due anytime now.

I'm too tired to comment any further tonight, will catch up more tomorrow!

WingingIt83 · 21/09/2016 21:19

Bugger sorry kwick :-(

si1ver I've been testing twice a day, first thing and 5pm ish. Maybe I'll try a cheapy opk tonight and if darkish line do the cb
