Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Great plan Kwick! Thanks for sharing. Going to add a few more vitamins and pineapple into the mix now!

Si1ver sorry this process is such an emotional headfuckFlowers

Si1ver · 03/09/2016 09:12

Congratulations Damson

How exciting Kwick that looks like a comprehensive plan!

Stats:

Silver
Ttc #1
36
Cycle 4

Currently in the middle of my tww (7dpo 8 left to go) definitely not in any way going crazy about this, did not for example cry in public while wearing copious amounts of eyeliner last night and have to be cleaned up by my husband.

LondonJem · 02/09/2016 21:50

Kidneys tend to be quite snug but my feet! I hate having hot feet. Flip flop kind of girl Confused

kwick · 02/09/2016 21:25

Oops sorry "icing" should read: ovulation

kwick · 02/09/2016 21:24

kwick's official TWOT plan

  • if you have been milk bingeing now is the time to return to normal amounts
  • on day of icing take a fresh pineapple, peel it and divide into 5 (core included) eat 1/5 and then another each day (said to help with implantation)
  • laugh
  • keep your feet and kidney's warm at all times
  • get your beauty sleep in
  • drink lots of water
  • PMA all the way!!! Visualise conception, implantation, growth (use tracks if need be - "Circle & Bloom" recently recommended); use the power of "I am"

I also am on meds:

  • Clexane daily injection
  • Daily baby aspirin
  • Crinone (progesterone) fanjo gel - twice a day
  • Cyclogest (progesterone) jacksie/fanjo gel - twice a day
Plus
  • 5mg daily folic acid
  • vit e
  • vit b complex
  • vit d
  • vit c

For this try I am going to "test out" the HCG from the ovulation trigger I had prior to egg collection - my official test date is 18 September. The progrsterone will delay AF so I will for sure be POAS Grin

kwick · 02/09/2016 21:10

Okay well seeing as you asked alexia see photo of 6 cell embryo (just the one!!).

LondonJem · 02/09/2016 20:59

Yes please kwick what's the plan?

I am kind of writing this cycle off as not actually shagging on the day I ovulate is so ridiculous. Maybe this will make for a calmer TWW?

AlexiaB · 02/09/2016 20:56

Hep I'm so sorry it didn't go well todayFlowers It's horrible being in limbo. We're here if you need us xx

Kwick sorry if this is a silly question but 6 babies!? Would love to hear your action planGrin

Sorry to those who got afFlowers. Can sympathise with the lack of jizz stress, too. I'm nearing ovulation- cd13 and hoping to O around cd 17/18 if I'm lucky.

Looking forward to seeing more BFPs on here! Congrats Damson.

kwick · 02/09/2016 19:53

hep I am so so sorry. I really hope that you see the growth next week and that the time from now until then flies Flowers we are all rooting for you.

jem it sounds like you defo got enough shags in. Please try and stay positive for 2ww.

marmite best of luck for scan tomorrow!

Thank you all so much for warm wishes Grin. At least 6 cell embryo now inside moi! Action plan in place for 2ww (happy to share if you want?)

I put some music on during the procedure - and the embryologist asked what it was & I said "One Direction" and he started laughing and I said "And your point is?" Grin

nicky I have had this happen from time to time (before I started TTC). I do not think it is anything to worry about.

Mooseville · 02/09/2016 18:13

Just catching up here. Had a manic two days at work with after midnight finishes - needless to say I'm shattered today!

hep so sorry. What awful news.

jem I hope you and DP have managed to sort things out. You can do it up to 5 days before the big O so there should be plenty up there swimming away. I know how you feel thiugh, we go through all this and all they have to do is have a shag! I have felt such resentment against my DP on those days he's refused to do it or not finished. I really just think they don't understand no matter how supportive they are usually...

I did have more to say but now I've written all that I've forgotten my responses to the previous messages!

miwelaisjacydo · 02/09/2016 17:32

Am so sorry hep 💐💐

ArtOfKnit · 02/09/2016 17:26

So sorry hep Flowers

mrs glad to hear there is someone else in the same boat. Still having on and off cramps and lots of the ewcm which is delightful. This is tmi but it's sort of "hanging" out when I go to the loo Confused

FXSkip · 02/09/2016 16:23

yes, thats what I was thinking. I passed a very large clot (the size of a small fist) and lots of grey things, so it might be consistent with a 2 week pg, in which case you might never have built up enough HCG to test +ve. Either way, your body is flushing out what it doesn't need so if you don't have any pain or fever then there isn't much to be done.

nicky883 · 02/09/2016 15:02

I read about grey and misscariage but i would have thought my period would be a bit laye if that was the case might take a cheapie when i go home to check !

InspectorPenguin · 02/09/2016 14:56

Try not to worry Nicky. It's more than likely just some of your womb lining, and looks grey because it's 'older' than the rest of the bloody being passed.

Is there any chance you might have conceived this month? If you're worried it might be a miscarriage you could try a test as you may have HCG in your system but it might not make you feel any better to know Flowers

nicky883 · 02/09/2016 14:53

No it was right on time ! It was larger than a 50 p coin and different than normal clots it was more solid dont know how else to describe it

FXSkip · 02/09/2016 14:47

nicky sorry cross post! Did your AF come late at all? How big was the clot?

FXSkip · 02/09/2016 14:46

Jem I hope you've recovered a bit. Boys are fcking idiots sometimes, I really feel for you. Good advice from penguin* though, hope you can get some good chat with him and enjoy your weekend - what's done is done, you're not out (maybe you can have a reconciliation dtd?)

Hep pal, nothing any of us say is going to help right now. I had to have my scans 2 weeks apart when I went through similar, and in those two weeks I stupidly convinced myself that they were wrong, and that it would be fine when I went back, so I was devastated all over again. The only advice I would give you is to try to keep yourself busy, take your mind off it. I just went to the gym, went for saunas, ate ALL the cheese and drank (some) wine and just got through it. Stay away from here if it helps you, but know that we are all feeling for you, and are here if you need us. If you want to chat feel free to pm me love, but fingers crossed that its good news for you xx

nicky883 · 02/09/2016 14:31

Ok tmi alert sorry
Today is my second day of period is very heavy i just fell a huge thing falling out of me .
I went to check and it was a very big clot almost solid and it was red but with grey in it !
I never had this before i dont undestand what is is ?!??

InspectorPenguin · 02/09/2016 13:58

Oh dear, it's a bit of a sad Friday on our thread this week :(

Hep, I'm really really sorry to hear your news. It seems extra cruel when you had hope you might have been quite a way further on just a short time ago. You must have swung from extreme high to extreme low in emotions over the last few weeks which must be bloody draining. We all have everything crossed for you next week, hoping the wait isn't too tortuous for you Flowers

Jem, sorry to hear you're having a shit day too. Your DH sounds like he's been insensitive and a bit of a twat. Hopefully a bit of time today will take the edge off your anger and the two of you can have a proper chat tonight?

I think we need to remember that however much we emotionally and physically invest in the TTC process it would be impossible for our partners to really appreciate how much it affects us. Think back to your pre-TTC days and when you heard about other people's struggles; it was really hard to appreciate the reality and have any real empathy.
Although he's your DH, and should obviously be your natural support, he's not going to be fully aware of all the complex emotions you're going through - it's a completely different world to his.

He was certainly in the wrong to get pissed when you'd asked him twice though, so talk about that with him and explain why you're angry but maybe try and separate that from everything else.

Also, try to think positive that chances of BFP after DTD on day of ovulation are lower than if you do it in the days beforehand so the month isn't a write-off. Treat yourselves over the weekend and be nice to each other - life's too short :)

Welcome Mrs Loz. Enjoy the excitement of the start of TTC - I hope you don't suffer from too much post-pill random cycle headfuckery!

Thinking of you today Kwik. Please report back with details!

No news here (seem to say that a lot!). Day 32 and still expecting AF to arrive over the weekend, purely because it would be MOST inconvenient. I did a cheapie test this morning and it was a snowy white BFN of course. I wasn't disappointed as I had no expectation of anything else but wanted to be extra sure ahead of going away with DP this weekend as we'll be packing lots of booze.

Have a good afternoon and lovely weekend everyone. Look after yourselves and be happy!

HepKestrel · 02/09/2016 13:35

possibly jem. Apparently the fetal stem/stalk is meant to double in length each week. He didn't see that growth from the last scan, though the last scan was a "tummy" ultrascan so less accurate. Scans are more difficult because it was so early. thats why it was inconclusive.

LondonJem · 02/09/2016 13:26

Everything crossed for you hep, could it just be its too tiny to pick up in there? You poor thing having to wait. Really wishing you good news when you go back.

HepKestrel · 02/09/2016 13:12

thanks.

fx for you Marmite

(there is still a chance for me, but i am not feeling hopeful).

LondonJem · 02/09/2016 13:05

Oh hep Sad I'm so sorry it wasn't better news. Thinking of you FlowersFlowersFlowers

Kav don't be embarrassed these things get to all of us, best to acknowledge it and have a rant / cry and process it properly. We are not robots, ttc is very emotional!

Marmite everything crossed for your scan tomorrow.

Thanks for your support girls xx

LovelyFishy · 02/09/2016 12:55

Alice I'd be the same!! After all this time, effort and stress I'd be totally unable to lie and say "oh well you know it just happened"!

Fx for you tomorrow Marmite! If you get a picture show us! Grin
