Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

miwelaisjacydo · 11/09/2016 11:43

Hi everyone been off the thread for a while.....fishy congratulations hope it's sunk in now 😀

Hep that sounds horrible.

HepKestrel · 11/09/2016 09:23

Thanks skip Yes Friday is the earliest available. The medical management was worth a shot, as if I went for the surgery straight away the earliest it could have been was Thursday.

Doc asked if I wanted to try the medical again..... Errr no! I may have given him my best death stare at this point!

Gonna take tomorrow off sick and play the rest of the week by ear. Since everyone I work with is on this work trip, I can work from home easily.

FXSkip · 11/09/2016 09:08

Oh no hep that's terrible. It's Sod's law isn't it, no matter what you do its just shit. The shakiness and feeling weak is normal unfortunately for these tablets - now you have to wait all week? I feel awful for you xx

HepKestrel · 11/09/2016 09:03

Congratulations fishy!!! Really glad of the good news this morning! Feel free to stay on this thread as long as you need to.

Now take your folic acid and vit d!

Well yesterday was fun-not.

12hrs in hospital (stuck in one room) 3 doses of the medicine, zero blood but horrendous diarea ( how do you spell?) Instead.

Surgery booked for Friday.

Today I feel shaky and knackered, as if I have just had a bout of food poisoning.

Congrats fishy! What wonderful news xx

LovelyFishy · 10/09/2016 10:43

Teehee, scone. I meant second!

Nothing different this month except not following any of the rules! I've not taken folic acid in about 2 weeks and I've had 2-3 drinks a week (including night before last, whoops!).

Only symptoms are sore boobs but normal pre-AF sign for me. I've also slept badly the last 5 nights but again these things just happen sometimes right?

Thank you everyone, it doesn't seem real yet! Grin

Interesting conversations to wake up to this morning!
We dtd last night and I had a go with the soft cup but I have no idea if it was in the right place and I was worried I was creating a barrier between jizz and cervix. I think I need to practice more and I'll just use it for AI (artificial insemination) rather than after dtd.

Going to Brugge for a few days, hopefully I'll come back to some BFPs.

Ooops failure last night - I fell asleep during a very boring film and missed DTD! Ffs

However, have informed DP of imminent ovulation and he's agreed tonight (would have been earlier but I'm going to work to do some overtime!) so fx he can pull it off, so to speak! Let's hope today's OPK shows a nice line!

I agree, it is intresting reading about other peoples sex lives and comforting to know its not plain sailing for everyone too! My DP is quite conservative and doesn't mix it up very often, which when he does kind of makes it a nice change! I've suggested watching porn together before and he didn't seem keen, although I know he watches it when he has his alone time! lol Maybe rather than ask him, I should just put it on??? I might see how I feel later..... Hmm

bluebird3 · 10/09/2016 07:37

So sorry hep. Take care of yourself. FlowersFlowersFlowers

It's funny how Ttc effects sex lives differently. I used to think it had helped ours as we were dtd way more often since we weren't letting life/tiredness get in the way. But now I rarely want to dtd as all I can think is 'why bother, it doesn't work anyway' and just associate sex with failure. Sad I don't know how to get back to enjoying it for it's sake.
