So I think I'm 7-8 dpo and have no idea what's happening with my body, if anything at all... I've had some odd cramping over the last few days, but I have no idea whether that's normal, or if it's because I'm over analysing and just never noticed before? Which, I think is likely!

I've been a bit crabbit over the last couple of days, so I think this time round it's definitely PMS Hmm

NappingRabbit · 30/08/2016 21:52

I'm 6dpo and so bloody impatient. I'm away tomorrow until Sunday but have packed a couple of tests. And tampons. Covering all bases!

I'm finding it hard this time round not to get carried away. When we tried for DC1 I expected it to take ages and got lucky first cycle. This time I half thought it might happen quickly again so am finding it hard not to build myself up too much, as in all likelihood it will take much longer this time.

Writerwannabe83 · 30/08/2016 21:46

Possibly 8-9 dpo and I have felt achey and crampy today. It felt more like period cramps than anything though so I'm not attributing much to it. I've got no IC in the house but am scared I'm going to be tempted to test. I think for the first time ever I'm going to wait to see if my period is actually late before testing.

sk1pper · 30/08/2016 19:33

Hmm didn't know that, I'm still putting it down to heat though as the office was stifling. Otherwise I feel normal :(

Wibblewobble100 · 30/08/2016 19:24

Congrats McCabe brilliant news. Really hope it sticks for you !

Lulu298 · 30/08/2016 18:38

Ooh hope that's a promising sign skipper!

Congrats mcbaby! So exciting! How long has it taken you with your PCOS?

Cara88 · 30/08/2016 18:14

Sk1pper light headiness is definitely a symptom, i know at least 3/4 people who fainted and were taken to a and e first thing the nurses made each of them do was a pregnancy tests and that's how they found out they were pregnant.

sk1pper · 30/08/2016 17:04

Finally a possible symptom to scrutinise. Extreme tiredness (obviously not because I've gone back to work after 10 days off). Also had a bout of light headidness just now to the point I had to sit down but not sure that's a symptom, probably the heat.

Calmisthemantra · 30/08/2016 16:49

Joining from the August bus as AF arrived today, as expected as didn't 'feel' pregnant.
Cycle #2 for dc#3
Age 34

All made slightly harder as my DH works away mon-Friday and I'm ovulating mid week at the minute

Cara88 · 30/08/2016 15:03

I didn't do opks but based off an app I downloaded I'm only 4dpo which is why I think it must be an evap or maybe ovulated early?

peasandquiet · 30/08/2016 15:01

Congrats McBaby! Exciting that we have first BFP before Sept even begins. I'm CD14 no Smile on OPK yet. DTD every day this week and fingers crossed that will be enough.

McBaby · 30/08/2016 12:39

Cara I defiantly see something. Test again tomorrow and hopefully it will be darker or go for an first response In the morning. How long after ovulation are you?

Goldfish99 · 30/08/2016 12:38

Congrats mcbaby!

So I'm on CD17 - 7ish dpo (I don't temp or use OPKs...yet!) and AF due a week tomorrow. We DTD every other day during and either side of FW so hoping in with a good chance this month.

No real symptoms of note yet other than being even more clumsy than usual (not even sure if this is a real symptom but Dr Google seems to confirm it!) and I've got quite a painful lower back (which of course is a pg symptom rather than the result of decorating at the weekend! 🤔)

Cara88 · 30/08/2016 12:18

lalaland1985 · 30/08/2016 12:15

Sorry cara - I don't see it Sad

Cara88 · 30/08/2016 12:03

Does anyone else see the second line? Is it an evap?

NappingRabbit · 30/08/2016 11:45

Huge congrats McBaby!

I'm 6dpo and have been feeling light cramping on and off the side I ovulated for the last couple of days. Probably just leftover ovulation pain but it's not something I've noticed before. Planning to test on Saturday but not too hopeful.

McBaby · 30/08/2016 09:43

Purple fairy - I take temps orally abs have very broken sleep due to insomnia and 2 children but I can spot a pattern of low and high temps. (I also tracked my temps before I was ttc as I had pcos).

Ovulation sticks didn't really help me as I got my positive this month on the day I ovulated as I had my temp rise the day after!

Learning my other ovulation signs like ewcm and ovulation pain combined with temping helped me work my cycle out.

Streaky17 · 30/08/2016 09:33

Purplefairy21 - I'd say take temps vaginally. I spent 2-3 months taking my temp orally and it did show a 2 phase graph in general but it was all over the place. Now I'm in my 3rd month of taking temps vaginally and it is much easier to see the trend.
Try to do the same time each day as soon as you wake up.
Ovulation has already happened when the temp rise shows so it doesn't help planning sex - OPKs are better for that but I haven't got a positive one of those in 3months of using but I'm lucky my cycles seem pretty uniform.
Obviously record on an app. I use Ovia but it only shows about a week on screen at one time so for a wider view I also use mycalender (but for almost anything else that app is pants).
Also the beeping is really annoying!
Good luck!

Purplefairy21 · 30/08/2016 09:09

Congratulations mcbaby i ordered a bbt thermometer yesterday to see if it would help pinpoint ovulation a bit better. Any tips/ suggestions as never used one before.

lalaland1985 · 30/08/2016 09:03

It's def darker today - congratulations McBaby!!

Walikingdeadfan · 30/08/2016 08:16

Congrats McBaby!

I'm also on CD 23, felt slight symptoms this morning (more gas! and slight sensitivity in boobs) but trying not to think about it too much in case I'm wrong!

lousylear · 30/08/2016 08:01

Hi Cara - I'm same as you, ttc #4. #1 with new partner too and his first. I think he's more excited than me at the prospect. I'm 41 though so just hoping I can still get pg.
I'm on cycle #1, cd36, 13dpo. No sign of AF and loads of pg symptoms. However keep getting bfn on frer so not testing again now til Friday.
FX for us all.

Congrats mcbaby, hoping it's me next!

Vanillaradio · 30/08/2016 07:46

McBabydefinite line Flowers congratulations!
I am cd 23 and have no symptoms either, so my positive thoughts this month have all gone!

sk1pper · 30/08/2016 07:23

Welcome cara!

Mcbaby - this is wonderful, no mistaking that test! Congratulations xx

Writer - I'm about 4 DPO and feel absolutely nothing too. Possibly the most boring 2ww yet..
