Honeyapple ? what we did differently this cycle! Well, we BD every day from cd10 to cd17 plus I had just changed job, we?d had time off for the first time since June and because we were having so much sex, I actually relaxed about the whole thing because I felt we were doing all we could. Also, DH came off his prescription drugs for his back.

Janus ? thank you, we were trying for 8 cycles. I think I hid it as best I could at the hen but someone will have clocked me pouring drinks away and hiding them I?m sure!

I saw the GP yesterday. She thought I was crazy with my charts and lists of questions. She even asked DH if he could verify the BFP!As I had spotting from 3dpo to 11dpo, she was a bit concerned and has asked me to submit a sample for testing next Mon and then come back the week after if the result is postive and she'll schedule a 7 week scan. She noted that there is family history of ectopics and multiples too. I just hope I stay pregnant, it is really scary at this stage isn't it! DH and I are both so excited though, every aspect of life feels different already! Must get my multiple insurance in place if things are ok next week just in case!

I'm fine thanks, getting much better not been sick in 2 days which is highly fab for me. You take care of your self and that bump of yours been waitting to say that for months. My DH said congrats by the way, and very well done, details details!

Actually you might be surprised how they react. One of my cats won't come near me and hisses at my tummy, the other insists on sitting on my stomach at all times- whilst nudging it and trying to lick it.

They certainly know I'm pregnant and did from about 7 weeks.

Nearly made you cry? Wait until you're further along and you can't do anything but cry because either you can't choose which bubble bath to buy (full breakdown in Sainsburys) or your cats are sitting next to each other on the sofa and 'they're such good friends'. Oh yes, I have done both.

I am so pleased for you. It's lovely to walk around with this little secret, knowing that your life has changed forever and you're growing a little person inside of you.

They are all really close friends so some might suspect as I'll be off the sauce (never seen before) but hopefully the focus will be on the hen and I'll get away with it. Going to tell one of them so she can help me cover up i.e. drink my glasses dry for me!

Didn't know you were on a Hen weekend this weekend - well, you should have known you'd be getting a BFP then, just to scupper your plans of jacuzzis and booze! Have a fab weekend anyway - will you tell the other "hens"?

I too didn't join the antenatal threads until I was 7+ weeks as I was paranoid as anything, but hey I'm 24 weeks now and everything's fine.

Hate to be the voice of doom on your thread though- here's a little info copied and pasted on jacuzzis during pg:

Can I use the Jacuzzi?

Regulating your body temperature is important during pregnancy. Studies suggest that increasing your temperature above 38.9C (102 F) for more than ten minutes in the first seven weeks of pregnancy can increase the risk of miscarriage or some neural tube defects such as spina bifida. Avoid overheating during the first trimester of pregnancy, and only use Jacuzzis occasionally and for short periods of time (less than ten minutes) for the rest of your pregnancy.

Sorry to include that but when I had my booking in appointment my midwife told me that although there were lots of ridiculous dos and don'ts during pregnancy, she abided by the overheating and the undercooked food ones the most.

Feel a bit mean as am off on a hen weekend leaving DH alone with no doubt tons on his mind. He is delighted though but his first question was is it more than one!! No champers in the jacuzzi for me.
