Anyone else feel like punching someone in the face when they ask when you're going to have children? Oh bore off you nosey people. Seriously. I'd never ask someone a question like that even before ttc myself. AHHHH. Need to vent.

Yes you're right luci I just checked and it says up to 48 hours later so if positive opk for me was Tuesday night I guess I'm ovulating today :). Exciting!

I thought you could ov up to 48 hours after the surge? I had my peak opk on Monday, and have had a tiny bit of spotting, once yesterday and once today, I'm taking that as ov spotting...

Is it possible to ov 2 days after lh surge? Or is it more likely I just didn't ovulate after the surge at all?

Thanks johno I'm only on cd13, positive opk on cd11 (well it was almost positive and then by the next day negative again so thought I'd missed the peak) so option 2 is out, af definately not due yet. So I think either ov is a bit a later after lh surge Tuesday or it didn't quite happen. I'll opk again later and see what it says. And in the meantime keep dtd I suppose to cover myself until sure ov has happened!

Hey moonlight. I think there could be a few possibilities with your chart.

1)the dip is just an anomaly and you ov when you thought.

2)you ov when you thought but you have AF on the way but with a short LP (how long are your cycles normally and your LP?)

3)you're right and your body geared up to ov, didn't manage it and has now dipped to try again later.

Not much help so I think it's just wait and see what that bbt does! X

I was expecting temp rise this morning but instead it's taken a dip, so now I have no idea what's going on.... did I try and ov and fail? Should I keep opk? Or is it just a day late and ov today? Any bbt/opk experts?!

Morning ladies. Well I had a couple of very very dull cramps yesterday and then some very very pale pink cm. Only one bit then nothing else when I wiped. Thinking Ov spotting maybe?

Thanks bobo, that's what I've been doing so far but just thought I'd check. I haven't actually got any tests in the house - that's how cold turkey I've tried to be this cycle! I'm hoping to hold out until Saturday morning, I just can't face the disappointment of another bfn. I've convinced myself somehow that if AF doesn't arrive then I'm just having a freak long cycle! We'll see though!

Yes I think those dates would roughly add up. My cycle hasn't been totally regular since coming off the pill though so can't be sure. Hopefully GP will have some answers.

Quick question, I'm sure someone on here can help! I usually get a few days of brown/red discharge and spotting before AF, so when would you say cd1 was? The heaviness of the discharge and spotting varies, doesn't always increase leading up to AF. Should I be counting these days as cd1 or wait until proper bleed arrives?
Not that it's happening this time though, cd25 of a normally 25 day cycle tomorrow and still no signs of AF or BFP!

Wow Grow! Amazing that you are probably 6 weeks + pregnant.

Well ladies I'm putting a lot of pressure of myself this evening. I tested at 6pm and got these results on an opk. Shocked so much that I tested twice. I am really wanting this cycle to be the one. My best friend is almost 5 months pregnant now and we started trying at the same time. I know they say not to stress as that's the worse thing you can do but I really don't know what else to do. bobo fx for you! I do love a good wedding. That'll be a nice way to chill out and enjoy some if bfn but hopefully it'll be good news! Are you feeling positive this month?

I'm counting today as Ov day so in to the 2ww. Opk today negative again so thinking yesterday's was as dark as it'll get and expecting temp rise in the morning. Is it sad that I'm so interested to see temps now lol first month properly doing them and opks.

I'd say that's about right then grow! If you know ov date then add 2 weeks to that and that's how many weeks pregnant you are :)!! Exciting!

Roughly how long after ov would you expect implantation bleeding? My last bleed started 24th Aug and I think ov must have been anywhere between 5-8 days before that. I got a positive opk 8 days before. Going by the AF before that would make me 6 and a bit weeks

Will try to book GP tomorrow - they have a stupid system at my place! Hopefully will be able to send me for early scan to check dates.

grow, GP may well be able to work it out, but because of your bleeding and the dates on your hpt, you could ask them if they can refer to to your local EPU for an early scan. They'll be able to date it properly and will look for any possible causes of the AF-like bleeding. Could be worth a try. If not you'll have to wait for your 12 week scan for a more accurate date. x

And thankd for the advice- ac gave me two short af in the months i was taking it but then seemed to stop 'working' and so havent been taking it for thre last month! Also was experiencing a bit of anxiety on it . Might give it another go and also get myself to thr gp when i am back...... when hopefully there will be more bfps! Good luck all!! Xxx

1 dpo for me, so excited I say that! Lol. I did another opk this morning just to be sure and it was completely negative, so looks like it was Defo a surge and I'm on the 2ww!

Its dh's bday in Friday so got family over, and going to a 30th party on Saturday... Life must go on even in the 2ww right? I'm dying for a prosecco or 3! 😁
