I've gone the opposite way as I was just relaxed and only went by ewcm last cycle but now with recent events I have purchased a bbt and got the ovia app so will start that soon. Thanks for asking loula I'm still here lurking ha. I'm still bleeding so no dtd for now. I had my blood test results today and the test yesterday showed a big drop apparently so thankfully no need to go back again. They told me to do a pregnancy test again in 2 weeks and make sure it's negative, if not give them a call. So have to wait until after then really to start ttc again. Loulabelle good to know about the 72 days although eek! I've been off cerazette 4 weeks today and not even a withdrawal bleed although I feel as if I'm gearing up for a period now... First 2 weeks were pregnancy symptoms with nausea etc, now I have UNBELIEVABLY sore boobs and I'm irritable but that could just be me being a moody cow been on cerazette a year nearly, depo for 3 years before that... Combined pill for 5 years before that, so have had probably 1 or 2 natural cycles since I was 15!

I am having a cold turkey cycle. Think I am cd 15. I haven't really been going on my apps that much but pretty sure I ovulate next week! It's been so hard to DTD in this heat though! I am also coming down with a cold of some sort so I'm not happy!

I have been prescribed mefenamic acid by my doctor to help with period pains. Has anyone else taken these before?!

At least you can enjoy the holiday to the full now and have a bit of a mental break from this ttc craziness.
When my AF arrived last month on honeymoon (we had this little hope it would just stay away and we'd come home to a bfp) I felt really down. But then I realised I could enjoy the holiday with wine and cheese and was much more positive about it.

So it seems AF has arrived Weird but bbt hasn't dipped to cover line, I did just read that once full AF arrives the cover line becomes irrelevant as its now a new cycle.

Negatives- 41 day cycle, think I ovulated later with no peak opk, have had a very stressful cycle and that's probably a contributing factor, I won't be in my fertile week on holiday when I'll actually see DH everyday and night. And duh- and another bfn!

Positives- looking forward to a cold turkey cycle with no bbt or opk- just waiting and seeing what my body throws at me, last day at work before a much awaited 2 weeks holiday to surprise my parents who live abroad, I can eat and drink to my hearts content on holiday, I have all you lovely ladies to keep me sane and entertained.

Bobo how's your cold turkey cycle going? Anyone else still doing it? Just need the will power not to temp!

Hi luci, I read your post earlier.

I came off cerazette on 6th December last year, didn't get a withdrawal bleed and had my first proper period after 72 days!

The symptoms when I came off it were exactly like pg symptoms so all very confusing. Fx for you

It seems mean to just start posting now, but I've been lurking and reading every post since November, (worrying that I'd had an early menopause and not noticed it and suchlike whilst waiting for the first AF) and found this thread such a comfort that I feel as if I've been part of it all along :)

The sensible thing to do would have been to wait a couple of days and test again... But instead I went out and bought a frer at lunch (and was paranoid someone would recognise it through the bag before I could stash it away at work). Tested just now. Think it looks a bit clearer. Had a tiny bit of pale pink spotting this morning though so still not convinced. After waiting nearly six months for my period post pill I was convinced It would take more than three cycles to conceive.

Hey team get up the duff. So Lapin welcome! I see the line but I can't zoom in- from the pic I can't see any colour so wonder whether it's an ident? May just be the pic. When are you planning to test again?

bobo my personal BFP sponsor- no full AF. In fact put on a panty liner sorry hate that word (yet I can talk about ewcm!) and nothing!!! Was like this last cycle with AF. If my temp jumps back up tomorrow I'll maybe get excited! Your dpo are ticking along; told myself I wouldn't check in on here on holiday but will wanna see your BFP progress X

Does look like a very faint line in the pic with the white background. I'm not at the testing stage yet, planning to come off cerazette on 31st July, so maybe the other ladies will have more to say!

Is cd30 a good time to test if your cycles are between 32-36? Perhaps wait another couple of days and test again?

I've been lurking on this thread sine stopping the cocp at the end of November, and have found it comforting to see other people in the same boat as me. At first I had a long five months with no period, then a 36 day cycle and 32 day cycle. Haven't been temping or opking, just dtd regularly and watching out for ewcm. Now on cd30. Took a superdrug early test this morning and think maybe there may be a faint line? It came up between the second and third minute. My acne has broken out, hair is greasy and bbs feel heavy. But those could be preAF symptoms. I've had some very light pink on wiping only. So cautiously excited that might be pg, but not convinced and feel that maybe it's all just AF on the way and me seeing what I want to on the test. Any thoughts?

Oh I know babydances this weather is not good for dtd! We are doing it every other day and last night was just too hot!

bobo I didn't know that about pregnacare!! I have been taking it for the last 4 months and never seem to get much ewcm! Oh dear 🙈 I might look at seven seas instead.
