Oh cookie you'll be fine hun. I had one a few years ago due to bladder problems so they scanned my bladder and kidneys and stuff. Fx for you and hope all goes well. Let us know what they say. Yeah it's all been a bit crazy these last few weeks, I just hope this cycle isn't a crazy long one so I'm back knowing where I am.

Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing OK. Back from hols now which was beautifully relaxing. Once AF was out of the way we dtd quite a lot. Today I have cramps which I guess are ovulation (or are signalling it's about to happen) so we'll just keep bd-ing every other day while I try not to thing about the tww or testing.

In fact, I was talking to dh and we agreed that I won't test unless AF doesn't rear her head when I expect her to so I don't stress myself out. So if my cycle is the same this month as it was last month, I'd expect AF on or around the 16th. If she doesn't show then I'll try to give it until at least the 19th to test. That way I'm not upsetting myself with BFNs which may just be too early.

How are the cold turkey cycles going for those trying them out? x

Ah hope AF stays away for you cookie! I havent noticed any symptoms yet so we will see. Usually start getting crampy feeling around 7dpo but nothing yet

Great Claire, we're definitely at a similar stage! I'm 5 or 6dpo today! If i reach 10dpo it will be a bloody (excuse the pun) miracle as witchyface usually shows at around 7-9dpo. Any symtoms? xx

Hi all loula cookie and jjspoon, looks like we are at a similar stage as I am 5dpo today. I will hold off testing until 10dpo but I'm feeling a lot more positive and relaxed this time as the months go on. Fingers crossed we will all get our bfps!

Yay glad I've got a tww buddy jjspoon. Hope this cycle hasn't been too tough for you. Can't imagine the emotions you must be going through! I think it's an external ultrasound I'm getting tomorrow, which I'm a bit sceptical about. Have heard mixed stories on here about external ultrasounds not being quite as accurate at picking up abnormalities than internal ones. Also feeling quite apprehensive as DH is working so I have to go on my own xx

cookie I also think I may be about 3/4dpo IF I did ovulate so we are probably due testing/af around the same time. I'm purely going by the fact I had watery cm thurs/fri and ewcm Saturday but obvs with my mc everything could be crazy and my body is still doing odd things. We only dtd Friday though so it'd be a miracle if I did conceive again. Fx for you two! And good luck with the scan hopefully everything will be fine for you. I'm presuming it'll be an internal scan... have they said? I don't envy you if it is lol.

I've been lurking since my miscarriage but we finally feel ready to TTC again so I thought I'd re-join this lovely thread.
It took 4 weeks for me to get a negative test which was frustrating but I feel better now knowing that it's all over. I'm sure AF will rearing her ugly head sometime soon...
Although we my DH & I started taking the Pregnacare conception vitamins and I've just read up-thread that they mess up your cycles??

Can I join please? Like others I have been lurking for a while. Well since February to be exact. I came off the pill mid February after 11 years. Since coming off the pill my cycles have been 41 days long so now on cycle 4, CD24. Last cycle I ovulated CD27, so watch this space.

Hi everyone, i have to admit I've been keeping a low profile. Trying not to obsess (even though I totally am!) in this tww! Loula snap, we must be at a smiler stage. I think I'm roughly 4/5dpo. It's dragging in!

Aw JJspoon, I totally know the feeling about the nervousness of booking hols/planning for the near future. We def need something to look forward to though incase it turns out to be a long process! Glad to hear you're feeling more positive too

Well I'm so nervous as I've got my pelvic/ovaries ultrasound on Thurs. I'll be roughly 6/7dpo by this point- this should affect (if by some miracle!) implantation or anything?? I'm clueless when it comes to these things! Worried that something will show up but also glad I'm moving forward with investigations!

I was on cerazette from May - December when I came off it last year and didn't have anything either. I think the having no periods is why it took me longer to get back into the swing of it!!

I didn't have any periods at all on the pill, just spotting say every six months for about 2 days.

Luci just DTD as much as you can girl! You never know if it will happen! I hope your cycles go back to normal quickly. Did you have periods whilst on cerazette?

JJ I know it's not the best circumstances but glad the pg hormone has now completely left your body! Fx I won't take you long to fall again .

I am in the tww but have no idea how many DPO I am! All I know is if I am having a 33 day cycle I am due AF next Wednesday. Currently CD26. Only symptoms I had was EWCM!

Good luck bobo! I think relaxed is the way to go! I have been temping a week now but they're still crazy and I'm not really bothered, more interested in it than actually going by it too seriously at the moment.

I POAS this morn and got a BFN so at last the pregnancy hormones are gone. Never thought it would be a good thing to see but at least now we know everything is OK with me and if I do go get a BFP anytime soon it is a true one rather than left over hormones.

Welcome luci! I think if you have a breakthrough bleed a few days after stopping the pill then cycle 1 would count from that bleed but if you don't have one and have a long cycle until you bleed again then that is still cycle 1 as you could ovulate. I'm not really sure how it works though. I had a bleed 3 days after finishing a full pack as I normally would.

I'm on day 2 of being off the pill. Just ordered myself some of the cheap ov and pg testing strips.

Heard you can be super fertile when you first come off the pill so will try and dtd as much as I can this week. Would be quite happy to catch without af flow even showing up! Doubt I'm that lucky tho!

I classed my first bleed as a period as it took 72 days so assumed it was far too late to be a breakthrough bleed!! xx

You can ovulate after your breakthrough bleed so I counted it as a cycle at least for the purposes of working out how long everything took. It could be shorter or longer than a normal cycle though - mine just happened to be 28 days.

Although if you got pregnant after breakthrough but before AF, your doctor/midwife wouldn't count it as breakthrough isn't a "proper" period.

The way I see it is it's your first ovulation cycle after the pill is out of your system once breakthrough bleeding has happened so that's why I counted it as Cycle #1. x

I didn't think the breakthrough bleed was counted as a cycle? If I do get one should I count it then, or wait for full on af to count as cycle 1?

Been on pill since I was 18, so 11 years altogether, cerazette has been the last 6 years. Fingers crossed I go back to some kind of normality.

Johno I know exactly how you feel! Cold turkey cycle is the best so far, hardly thinking about ttc and just going with the flow. I'm so much calmer and less stressed this month.

Hi Luci, I came off the pill just over a month ago. Had my breakthrough bleed after 2 days as usual and then AF showed on CD28 (counting start of breakthrough bleed as CD1). I took Seven Seas Trying For A Baby from the day I stopped taking the pill - not sure if it had anything to do with it, but I had read it helps regulate your cycle. x
