Claire* maybe you just have late implantation?

Lou well done on the will power for cold turkey, bet you feel so much better for it, the time seems to go much quicker when you arnt analysing the hell out of yourself doesn't it? Smile

sarahhh1984 · 06/08/2016 08:04

Welcome looby! Looks like you're just slightly ahead of me in this ttc business - I came off the pill late June.

My first period off the pill ended up pretty much the same as what I was having before I went on the pill: lasting 7 looooong days! On the pill my withdrawal bleed was only 4-5 days!

But at least a 7 day period gives me less time to think about pg symptoms etc.! Smile

ClaireSunflower · 06/08/2016 07:37

marmite massive congratulations lady! So happy for you! That's amazing news Smile

I am 8dpo and noticed some spotting this morning which is a little worrying. Don't want to go back to a 7day luteal phase! I'm a bit worried cos I've been taking low dose aspirin since ovulation as it's supposed to help implantation but after doing some googling it can apparently shorten the luteal phase and mine is already v.short! Feel like an idiot now for taking it. Going to get rid of and swap the pregnancare for seven seas and see if that helps next month (although still crossing my fingers for a bfp!)

Loulabelle1990 · 05/08/2016 23:10

Yeah look out for EWCM luci, can't go wrong!

Purple I've no idea how many DPO I am as I had a cold turkey cycle but started getting EWCM last Monday. I probably won't test till next weekend if AF doesn't show up before then! Ovia says due next sat but I can't see how that's right!

Purpleviola14 · 05/08/2016 23:05

Thanks marmite*, sounds like you had a pretty normal time with things.
Have you told any of your close family yet? Bet it's soo hard to keep it secret!

Welcome luci* fx your cycles sort themselves quickly for you 😀

Pesky* how are you getting on lovely?

Lou* how many Dpo are you? Sounds like you are at a similar stage to me, I'll be fur AF next Friday/Saturday.

LuciBee231015 · 05/08/2016 22:56

Right so I'm on cm watch!! Lol. Thanks girls x

marmitecheesetoast · 05/08/2016 22:22

Thanks JJ! Grin

Jjspoon · 05/08/2016 22:09

Luci take bobos advice and go by cm and dtd often until you know what's going on!
And marmite I've already congratulated you on the other thread but congrats again lol.

I find it so hard to keep up with everything on here on my phone as can't type a reply and look through pages...

Jjspoon · 05/08/2016 22:04

Welcome looby! My first af after the pill was lighter and shorter than I thought I'd would be too. Same as you I went on the pill at 15 for really heavy long periods so bad I didn't get out of bed for a few days and in agony but I'm also hoping they won't go back like that! I also had bad migraines when I was on the pill and haven't had one since (3 months now) so that's good.

.... I can't look at the next page on my phone without losing this message so hold on lol....

marmitecheesetoast · 05/08/2016 21:20

Oh no purple what a nightmare! Utis are the worst at the best of times never mind all that Envy

I would say don't trust the boobs... Mine still feel totally normal Hmm Re symptoms, things that were easily explainable away as I was trying not to be a symptom spotter! Was very tried but had been really busy and work was crazy. My tummy had been a bit off for a few days, but I have ibs so just put it down to stress at work. I felt mildly hot and lightheaded a few times on Wednesday but just put it down to standing up too quickly (but I think that started to maybe sow a seed subconsciously) and then had also been quite bloated and windy since the weekend which I thought maybe was AF starting up tricks early. Have also had sort of constant mild tummy ache like the start of AF. So really nothing totally obvious and all easily attributable to being busy/AF! Such a tricky business this ttc/AF business.

DH is away for the weekend, talk about terrible timing. Feeling quite alone with this crazy secret news.

Who's next to test?

Purpleviola14 · 05/08/2016 20:54

Hi ladies, sorry for being off the radar recently, I'm in the 'trying not to worry but secretly worrying' gang.

How are we all?

Cookie hope you get some answers on Monday.
Marmite did you have any symptoms?

What do you girls think about lack of sore boobs after ovulation? I normally get really sore boobs and sensitive nipples just before ov and right up until AF but this cycle I've had nothing. Currently about 2dpo I think.

Had a right going on today. Picked up prescription for uti, googled what the doc had given me and it was an antibiotic unsafe for pregnancy! So went back into boots and they told me to get a store own brand cystitis relief, got home and that's unsafe too! Like wat the!? Seriously if I hadn't have looked I would have taken them. Just got back from emergency out of hours where they have given me safe ttc antibiotics. Dear me. Hmm

Loulabelle1990 · 05/08/2016 20:39

Well if I am having a 33 day cycle AF would be due next weds so sometime next week! I know it can be a pg symptom too which is why it's so frustrating every month that its an ad symptom I get too!

How do you get your emoji keyboard to work on here bobo? I can't do it Sad xxx

BoBo90 · 05/08/2016 18:56

Sore boobs are a pg sign Lou so could be good 😄 When will you test?

Luci ask as many questions as you like 😄 We were all new to ttc at some point!
Cycle 1 is total guess work I'm afraid! You could have a nice 28 day cycle or you could have a 76 day cycle like me 😩 Best thing to do is keep an eye on your cm more than anything. If it changes to watery and clear start using the opks! Also if you get any pains in the ovary region you can do a couple opks to see how your getting on!
You can also dtd every 2-3 days to try and catch ov but if it's a long cycle you might get fed up! Xxx

Fx it's a nice normal cycle for you my sweet xxx

LuciBee231015 · 05/08/2016 17:58

Ok so I count this as cycle 1 😁😁

So how do I know when I am going to ovulate, if I do. Do you go on the thought that I will be a 28 day cycle even though it could be a lot longer?

Or do I symptom spot for ov? Got some cheap tests so could start doing those to try and figure it out...

Sorry for all the questions, Cycle 1 is hard as I'm going in completely blind!! Excited to finally start this journey though 😁

Loulabelle1990 · 05/08/2016 17:35

Welcome Looby!

When I came off my pill my periods were very short - like 2 or 3 days, but just this last cycle they've got heavier and longer and more 'normal'. I guess everyone is different!

Glad you are feeling positive bobo, thank you for the updated list Smile. Fx this is another short cycle for you!

I haven't got any 'symptoms' yet. I can feel one boob starting to get sore tho just like before AF, but this could also be a pg sign couldn't it? Also had some left side pains earlier but that's gone now xxx

BoBo90 · 05/08/2016 16:32

Ahh I knew I should have checked for new messages before posting the updated list!

Welcome Looby Grin! I will add you on the next update as our list is getting a bit long and takes up a lot of space! My periods used to last 7 days as a teenager and now post pill they are 4-5 days so definitely a difference for me! Maybe its normal for them to change with age?? Confused

I think we should have a little list review! People on the list below if you lurking can you just let me know and I will leave you on the list Smile I don't want to remove anyone by accident Smile

I've been a bit of a lurker but have decided to join in for a bit of support. Me and DH haven't told anyone we're trying so support is somewhat limited!

I came off the pill early June, had a withdrawal bleed followed by 31 day cycle, then a 26 day cycle. Currently on day 7 of this cycle and keeping fx it's the last one!

Has anyone else found that their periods are lighter and shorter than expected since stopping the pill? It's hard for me to judge because I'd been on it for 12 years, went on as a teenager because of heavy periods and bad period pains, and never came off!

BoBo90 · 05/08/2016 16:04

Cookie - it's soo annoying when they make you wait to see a gp before telling you what they were literally just looking at.. like a second ago... right in front of you Hmm haha glad it's not just me that dreams of a hidden bambino popping up.. or out! Grin I'm good thanks lovely Smile cm is turning watery and ovaries were a little achey today so fx ov is on its way even earlier than last cycle Grin I'm feeling nice and positive this cycle so we'll see how long that lasts haha!

CHAPMAN!!!!!!!!! Sooooo good to hear from you my dear! Congratulations on little miss Chapman Grin I'm so happy for you and can't believe its been 20 weeks.. like seriously where the hell did all that time go Confused I swear we wish our lives away while ttc trying to skip all the time in between testing days!

Marmite - I think I would be the same when I eventually get a bfp! Try and relax and enjoy it :) We want that bean all chilled and cosy in there Grin

Luci - Sounds like withdrawal so count the first day of spotting as Cd1! and welcome to cycle 1 Grin fx you wont need a cycle 2 Wink

Baby dust too all you scrumptious lovelies! We will be mummys soon Grin

I'm day 5 off of cerazette today, had a slight back ache and full tummy ache for about 15 mins. Then when I went to the toilet a couple of hours later there was some brownish discharge in my knickers, and red spot when I wiped. So guess that is my withdrawal spotting/bleed. If it carries on for a day or two, do I count that as cd1?

LuciBee231015 · 05/08/2016 14:21

Haha! How lovely! Yep off to the GP you go! Congrats again xx

marmitecheesetoast · 05/08/2016 12:18

Haha I did another two actually Luci Blush. Still kinda (totally) in denial though. I booked a GP appointment this morning, I guess that's what I'm supposed to do?! I actually have no idea! Felt so prepared and armed with knowledge for TTC but not at all for this bit!

LuciBee231015 · 05/08/2016 09:17

Congrats Marmite! How exciting!! Bet you wanted to do another test this morning didn't you! Just to see it again!

sarahhh1984 · 05/08/2016 08:31

Congratulations marmite! x

marmitecheesetoast · 05/08/2016 08:18

Thanks guys Grin (still feeling totally freaked out) meeting a friend for dinner tonight and already thinking what's my story going to be for not drinking.
