Well I can definitely see the line on the other pictures! How exciting! Please send another one tomorrow for us to see! It made my belly go over! 😁

Was that your first cycle as well Sarah? x

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 15:35

Thanks marmite! The info on the GP appointment is really helpful. Glad it went well. I'm in Liverpool and so will probably go to the Liverpool Women's Hospital as it's only down the road. I believe they have an early access service but imagine the GP will tell me about that.

Picking between two must be hard - I wonder have women reviewed their experiences online? That could help you decide?

Told OH and he was made up. But I think he wants to wait for me to confirm it tomorrow morning before he gets too excited.

Meeting a friend tomorrow evening for dinner. May have to pretend I've just had a big IBS attack to get out of drinking alcohol without suspicion. xx

marmitecheesetoast · 15/08/2016 15:15

Ps have you told your OH yet?

tatatetelle · 15/08/2016 15:15

Hello everyone, I was hoping to join?
I'm 28yo, ttc since January '16 but I've known I have PCOS since I was 19 so always knew it might be a bit more difficult to get pregnant. Hubby did SA and all is good for him so our GP has agreed to refer us to a fertility clinic, although I'm a bit worried about waiting time now! Because of PCOS I haven't had a cycle in 5 months so can be..challenging to keep trying while we get the referral appt (for me more than for him I think!), so it would be great to have people going through something similar to chat to from time to time!

marmitecheesetoast · 15/08/2016 15:15

Looking forward to seeing an even clearer line in the morning then! Smile

My appointment was this morning. Of course she didn't laugh at me and say no, you're not pregnant (as was my irrational fear!) She didn't even do any test to confirm, said hpts are so reliable these days they don't check. I have a choice between two hospitals and had to decide which one I wanted to go to - didn't expect this already! - as for one of them the GP refers you and for the other you ring the antenatal unit yourself directly to register the pregnancy. I wasn't really sure which to pick but anyway went for the one you ring yourself. GP told me to ring asap so I nipped out on lunch break to give them call. The incredibly rude and unhelpful busy sounding lady I spoke to basically said its too early, 'try again next week' and practically put the phone down on me Hmm

Not really sure how i'm supposed to pick between the two hospitals, they are basically equidistant for me. Anyone else in Manchester area?

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 14:31

Thanks marmite! I'd expect it to be stronger in the morning as that wasn't even fmu. It was done at lunchtime after around 2.5 pints of water, a cup of coffee and a cup of tea! So hopefully tomorrow morning will give me a nice strong line! But after that, no more testing (apart from doctor's test) or I'll drive myself potty.

Have you had your doctor's appointment yet or is it later today? I've just made an appointment for Wednesday on the assumption that my confirmation test tomorrow will be all fine and dandy so would be good to know what happens if you're happy to share! Xx

marmitecheesetoast · 15/08/2016 14:25

That's a definite second line sarah!! Congratulations!!
That's what my first Frer line looked like and it got stronger with each day that went by (as I merrily used up my entire stock pile Grin)

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 14:17

Thank you ladies! I'm going to take a second FRER in the morning to confirm and assuming that's a BFP as well I'll make an appointment with my GP.

Really can't believe it! Xx

mommathatwearspink · 15/08/2016 14:13

Congratulations Smile

HighHopes16 · 15/08/2016 14:11

Wow I can definitely see a second line- Congratulations sarah :)

Shoney85 · 15/08/2016 13:40

I definitely see it, congratulations x

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 13:23

It's pretty clear (faint but clear if that makes any sense) on the test in front of me now but not too strong on the pics. Attached a couple more where I think it's a bit stronger looking.

mommathatwearspink · 15/08/2016 13:22

I can see the line!

LuciBee231015 · 15/08/2016 13:21

I can't see it, but sometimes they don't show up very well in the pics x

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 13:12

Ladies, I caved and used an FRER as I was panicking that AF was on her way. Can everyone else see the line? Does it look like an evap line? I'm freaking out a bit...

HighHopes16 · 15/08/2016 11:12

Oh and typically it seems AF has arrived this morning!! Angry

HighHopes16 · 15/08/2016 09:36

I've got my ultrasound scan this evening and I'm so nervous! Is it bad that I actually hope they confirm I have pcos? As that would explain a lot of symptoms I've been getting and I can then hopefully get treatment.

Good luck testing Sarah , who else is next?

sarahhh1984 · 15/08/2016 09:31

Hmmm... Just noticed some light brown discharge when I wiped. No idea if this is normal for me as I'm only on Cycle #2 - although it didn't happen last month that I noticed. Just went straight to full on AF.

No cramps today - although yesterday evening I got some really sharp cramps that only lasted a few minutes.

Ah well, all I can do is wear a liner and see what happens! Xx

LuciBee231015 · 15/08/2016 09:21

Not much to report from me. Cd11 after stopping pill on 31st July. That's counting my withdrawal bleed as cd1. We are dtd every couple of days. So guess I'm just waiting to see how long my cycle is and when my first proper af shows up...

Keeping my eye on cm, which seems to have settled down a bit now. X

mommathatwearspink · 15/08/2016 08:29

I'm due to test end of next week so still a bit of a wait for me!

Fingers crossed for you sarahh

Shoney85 · 15/08/2016 08:02

Thanks for the tip BoBo90, as of today no more. I havent been too consistent with it as kept forgetting to take it lol

BoBo90 · 15/08/2016 07:57

Thanks Jj and marmite that's really reassuring 😊
Let us know how your gp appointment goes marmite and tell us all what actually happens wen you go for the first appointment as I have no idea!!

Lou I've tried preseed but wasn't lucky that month and sick cold turkey we decided not to use it. Also dh didn't really like it as it made things a little warm in there lol 😆

Momma those are some good symptoms!! Are you due to test soon?

Shoney I would bin the pregnacare! I was on For 8 months and had longer cycles and not much cm at let alone Ewcm! I stopped it last cycle and had much more cm and cycle was a week shorter!

Fx af stays away Sarah!

Cookie and Marmite, good luck at your appointments today!

I'm due on AF tomorrow (of course, that's assuming a regular cycle) so waiting to see if she appears before I test.

So far I just have all the delightful symptoms that could mean either PMS or pg: massive, sore boobs, sore nipples, darker areolas, a few zits, lots of discharge (tmi, sorry!) and occasional cramps. Also have a bit of a sniffy nose and sore throat - although that could be completely unrelated. So, in short, I have no idea if AF is coming or not. We will see...

Is anyone else due to test? Xx

Shoney85 · 14/08/2016 22:28

Speaking of EWCM when I first ovulated after coming of the pill in June it was practically running out of me when me and the OH we're DTD (sorry to be so graphic). I didn't know it at the time but since TTC learning all the ins and out (still wish we had been trying then but was holding off till our honeymoon, had I known then I would have for sure). I didn't notice anything like that in July and I do drink a lot of water. Try to get two pints at least a day. Just wondered in July when we started to try I started to take pregnacare original but I am now reading this can dry you up....anyone else had the same?

Loulabelle1990 · 14/08/2016 22:10

Welcome to all the newbies Smile.

Bobo ha e you ever tried preseed? I have heard some good things about it! I wouldn't worry too much about the EWCM. Apparently drinking more water helps. Well since I heard that I've produced more since drinking loads more water!

Cookie and marmite good luck with your GP appointments! Make sure to let us know how you get on!

AF is still in the house. Only CD2! Going on my walking holiday to Wales on Tuesday so that will help keep my mind off ttc. I hate that I have such long cycles!
