Erm I meant 14 or 15dpo not cd Confused

Temp still high. Had lots of cramps last night so went to bed expecting to wake to AF but nothing yet. I'm really trying not to get excited......

Johno85 · 24/08/2016 22:22

bobo just make sure you don't cross your legs. Wink
I'm going to wait until Sunday morning. So that will either be cd 14 or 15. I'm off down to my best friends in Devon for her annual birthday bank holiday BBQ. It's normally pretty boozy so want to make sure I know the score before I head down.

DH still not home yet had been on a trial shift at a new job. I'm happy with my cuppa and cake and catching up on GBBO. CakeBrew

Do you know what I don't think I've poas for weeks- if forgotten what it feels like no only have one frer so best not pee on the control panel!

Where are you at in your cycle now?

moonlight am I being more dim than normal- 12 weeks????

X

BoBo90 · 24/08/2016 17:46

Course not Johno! Your comic genius entertains me immensely 😉

Sounds promising and exciting my lovely!!! I'm going to keep everything crossed for you (seriously am though - I'm going to look like a contortionist 😆) are you going to wait it out until 15days or testing sooner? I have to test before af is due because if she arrives before I feel cheated out of a poas!
Haha I hope you dh wasn't too pleased embarrassed about the fondle! Guess it depends on who the dr was 😆 And that you dont have to wait too long for results

There must be some more testers soon! Xx

Ok I just Googled it and it said women in their 20s typically have 5 days of ewcm!!!! What the hell. I definately only get it for less than 1 day. Shouldn't have Googled it as now worrying we missed it. Next cycle defo need to get to it as soon as I can after noticing it then.

MoonlightMojitos · 24/08/2016 17:34

johno 12 WEEKS! What a wait! Fx for your BFP before then anyway! Sounds positive for a decent Lp with the temps, when will you test?

Thanks seven and bobo Im feeling a lot more sane today lol. Life goes on and hopefully my BFP will come soon, just got to do all we can!

Does anyone know what the deal with ewcm actually is? Like, I have had it every cycle since coming off the pill but usually only for maybe half a day like 1 or 2 toilet trips and then it's gone again. Does it mean I'm ovulating right then? Or later... or the next day like with opk surges? Anyone have any idea?!

Johno85 · 24/08/2016 17:17

Hey bobo I'm about 10-11 dpo I think. Glad my comic genius isn't wasted on you. GrinMy temp is still above 37. My shortest LP so far has been 11 days and my longest 15. So I'm hanging in there by the skin of my teeth!

Now I read somewhere about this whole "dry mouth" as an early Preggo symptom and I've told myself that I'm not going to symptom spot. But for the record I have had a really dry mouth all week. It's like I've eaten a teaspoon of cinnamon!

Boobs not doing anything exciting. Have had left and right sided pains like I normally do around ov. Real dragging feeling that comes and goes. May be a sign that the witch is on her way.

DH went to the docs today. Had his dangly bits fondled assessed and told all ok. Asked to do a population paste sperm sample to send off. was told it's a 12 week wait due to a back log in the lab. Not too fussed ATM. But then ask me again if it's another bfn.

Anyone else testing soon? X

LuciBee231015 · 24/08/2016 16:16

It's happening again. Kind of a throbbing shooting pain on the right. And then it goes away... Fx something is happening in there. x

BoBo90 · 24/08/2016 16:04

Could be Luci, you can start having pains a few days before ov so get on the shaggeroos and hopefully you will have more ov signs in the next day or so Grin

OP posts:
LuciBee231015 · 24/08/2016 15:41

Could a shooting pain in my right pelvic side point to ov? It only lasted a few seconds, but very noticeable.

I'm not doing opks but tempted to do one tonight now to see if it meant anything, but then I get annoyed when it's neg lol.

BoBo90 · 24/08/2016 09:17

Sorry about af Tommy but at least you can enjoy the rest of your holiday 🍹☀️🍸

Moonlight, I didn't do opks last cold turkey but I did do a few this cycle so I know I had almost a positive the day before and then it faded out by the time the migraine started so I suspect it was that! i have a feeling it's linked to a difficult/long ov process for me! Hopefully an egg was released but my cm had gone white by the time I got the positive so I'm not very hopeful this cycle!
Don't worry about last night, it's understandable you were both not in the mood after the suprise! If you dtd again tomorrow and then every other day until the end of the week you would have covered it 😊

Marmite how did the news go? Did you friend take it ok? As long as you were sympathetic to her struggle and didn't rub it in about only taking 2 cycles (which I very much doubt you did) then I'm sure he was fine 😆

Fx the seven seas helps you out seven!

Johno lovely what dpo are you now? I very much enjoyed your comment about me being a size 8 by the way 😔 So not true but thanks very much haha 😘

Lou, Claire, Cookie? Are you all doing ok? Any twerkers? Xxx

OP posts:
Seven0fNine · 24/08/2016 09:06

Fx moonlight....hope you are feeling better today xx

No news here other than I ordered the seven seas. Lots of reviews said they helped get hormones back on track and then others said they did nothing so will give them a go and see.

MoonlightMojitos · 24/08/2016 07:32

So we didn't manage to dtd last night after the baby bomb we were both in really weird moods which is really annoying as we were doing well on the every other day front especially after the ewcm yesterday :(. Did manage to get a cheeky one in this morning though so hopefully that's ok and we havnt missed too much. Will make it difficult to judge cm today though (tmi!)

sarahhh1984 · 23/08/2016 21:50

Moonlight, I used to get the same. And I know someone who gets one every time she's around ov. They're really commonly linked to hormone changes so it could indeed be a good sign, Bobo! Fx for you. x

MoonlightMojitos · 23/08/2016 21:23

bobo hun fill me in on your stats...? You've done cold turkey the last 2 cycles havnt you? Were you doing opks before that? Sorry I don't have the time to go back through the last 3 threads lol. I was just thinking about your migraine. When I was on the pill I got a migraine even time I took a break so I always took 3 or 4 packs back to back to get them less often. I wonder if the migraine was a good sign (although obviously not a nice one!) that something good was happening in there and your hormones had a surge? Fx for you.

MoonlightMojitos · 23/08/2016 20:14

Someone I know just announced on Facebook that their pregnant complete with scan photo... due the same week I was :'(. Didn't think I'd take it this bad! Instant tears. Thank God she didn't tell me in person....

MoonlightMojitos · 23/08/2016 17:52

Also if you're close she might be upset to know you kept it from her even if it was to save her any upset that it happened so quickly... I'm sure she'll want to know all about how you managed it and any symptoms lol

MoonlightMojitos · 23/08/2016 17:48

marmite thanks, going to give it all we've got this cycle lol. No I'm not doing opks as cycles have been so regular I don't think there's much point as I know when it's happening. Id defo tell her, I'm sure she will be pleased for you and it will be nice to have someone to share it with.

marmitecheesetoast · 23/08/2016 16:56

Oooh yay for ewcm moonlight! Sounds like you've got it appropriately covered! Are you doing OPKs too?

I'm finding it increasingly difficult not to blurt out 'I'm preggers!' at work this week, especially when people are trying to get me to take on extra work Envy

I am meeting a good friend tonight who knew we were ttc. I think I might tell her as she'll probably ask how things are going anyway! We tend to compare notes, it's nice to have someone to do that with in RL. She is also ttc and has been for a year so I'm afraid I'm going to baby bomb her after two cycles of trying Confused

MoonlightMojitos · 23/08/2016 12:57

Cd13 for me and ewcm has made a show slightly earlier than expected so glad we dtd cd11! Will do again tonight, maybe tomorrow and definitely again Thursday and go from there if I think I've ovd or not by then!

Tommygirl10 · 23/08/2016 10:43

Hey ladies,

Congrats Sarah! I love to see a bfp! Still away in Oz. Af came this week so on to cycle 5. No surprise really as not dtd enough last FW. Also with time difference have messed up with taking the seven seas daily and been drinking way too much alcohol so can continue to enjoy that. Onwards and upwards to next cycle. Good luck to all tww'ers and to sorry to those who af got! Enjoy the wine before summer is gone! 🍷

BoBo90 · 22/08/2016 19:58

Sorry about af Looby but onwards and upwards Smile

Nice job on the secret holiday date planning Moonlight Grin the things we do to keep ttc stress free for the men ay

Thanks for the help with my toasty-ovary dilemma Grin I used the heat bad in the end and will again tonight Smile They seem a little better today so my body decided to hit me with one of worst migraines I've ever had Angry my body is a bitch but it's mostly gone now!

MrsCW86 have you had a name change or have I missed you off the list by mistake my lovely? xx

OP posts:
MoonlightMojitos · 22/08/2016 19:18

Well done shoney you've done well! Cd12 for me, dtd cd9 and 11 and already feeling exhausted at the thought of the next week 😂!

grow enjoy your holiday! That'll be nice to chill out and enjoy yourself for a bit. Fx for you!

We've decided to go away for a week in October and I got my diary out to plan it for roughly my FW that month just in case lol, not that I told dp that! Just told him it's the best week for me to get off work lol.

Hope you're feeling better today bobo

Sorry af got you looby

MrsCW86 · 22/08/2016 15:12

Sorry to see some of you lovelies are having crappy cycles - mine were a bit mental coming off the pill but I did get pregnant before they seemed to sort out, if it's any consolation? Sadly it wasn't to be but don't worry too much is what I'm trying to say Smile

Moonlight I completely understand, I kept getting little jolts of thinking what stage I would be at if I hadn't had a mc. This Thursday would have been my due date so I'm hoping that will be a bit of closure.

On a happier note, the singing teenagers making a horrendous racket on my train have just got off and so now I can have some peace don't have to make a hormonal decision between hitting someone and bursting into tears

Happy Monday everyone!

looby1304 · 22/08/2016 11:31

Luci I'm pretty certain it's AF, even though it's lighter than normal
I don't think it's lights enough to be anything other than AF Sad

sarahhh1984 · 22/08/2016 10:58

I'm well, thanks Seven! Think I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. Kind of getting used to feeling tired all the time now. Keep getting random bouts of nausea though which is a bit disconcerting. It seems to pop up when I least expect it! Had my letter through confirming my midwife appointment at the weekend which made everything seem a bit more real, but also came with a lot of literature about the different screenings you can opt in and out of - it's a lot to take in for both me and DH.

The Seven Seas are quite cheap on Amazon if you just wanted to try them for a month or so. They have all of your folic acid dose and everything in there too. Fx for you.

Sorry AF got you looby but love your positive attitude. Fx this cycle will be the one!

Sorry some of you are dealing with such long cycles - hopefully everything will click into place soon - whether it's a BFP or the start of a "proper" cycle so you at least know where you are (but mostly fx for BFP!).

Xx
