Thread 4: Ttc without ease, loopy length cycles, post pill poas and everything in between!

Hi Ladies, unfortunately that seems to be af arriving today so won't be testing again.
That's me on to cycle 13 then.

I've deleted Ovia today. Feel myself over analyzing with that. i decided to go app-less and just go with the flow. Not sure how long it will last lol.x

Welcome back Jackie - I have a gp appointment next week to discuss the possibility that I might have pcos as the sonographer saw cysts on one of my ovaries at the scan that confirmed my m/c. So if AF hasn't arrived by then I will mention it, although irregular cycles are another symptom of pcos so it looks likely!

Hi all, back after almost 3 weeks away with no internet, just about caught up. Congrats to the people seeing their bubbas on scan must make it seem so much more real! BBS sounds promising! When are you going to test?! Sorry to hear about AFs and high hopes you must be at your wits end, I don't think a trip to the gp could do any harm surely? If only to put your mind at rest, sending hugs.
I've had absolutely no symptoms of ov this cycle, no pain, no ewcm, so no idea if I've ovulated, if I did the swimmers didn't make it cos AF turned up today making cycle 1 only 25 days. Does that mean I ovulated on cd11? Is it always 14 days after that you get AF? Or maybe I didn't ov at all, it's so confusing this ttc when coming off the pill malarkey. Ah well, onwards and upwards I guess, onto cycle 2 CD1. Sending baby dust to all x

I'm on cd18 and into the tww, no idea if we caught it this month so it's just the stupid waiting game now. Found myself getting irrationally quite annoyed with DH because he's all full of cold and (weirdly) didn't feel up to dtd much during my fw...! I basically just kept trying to jump him and he eventually said "Don't think I don't know why you're doing this" so I realised I was being slightly insane and just sort of left it! Not feeling positive about my chances this month but it's not over until the bwitch gets here!

I'm cd5 now after a 39 day cycle last time round. I've stopped agnus castus as not helping. I've had the most bizarre AF. Only 2 days, lots of spots and I normally have good skin, lcramps and been an emotional wreck. I'm hoping it's the equivalent of banging the tv on the side but for fertility.

I've had a bit of ahem discomfort down there so been downing actimel and popped a pill earlier to hopefully ease everything. The lady at boots was like "I'd probably hold off ttc for a few days until it clears up".... I basically laughed out loud, probably not my top priority right now (definitely didn't think we'll it's not my fertile week so not an issue.....)

Is anyone testing soon? X

Aw bobo chick!! What a strange cycle for ya chick! Do you think you've managed to cover yourself over this ov period?? Ahh wishing you all the best for your upcoming appointments (and DHs 'fun in a cup' appointment ). Have you worked out what you're going to say to the GP? Don't be frightened to cry and moan (that's the only thing that got them moving for me!). I had my day 21 bloods done on thurs (actually day 26). My cervical swab came back clear and my urine sample came back clear, along with the ultrasound a month ago. I've got (hopefully) my final gp appointment for my day 21 blood results this Thurs before they finally refer me! DH is awaiting refferal for his 'fun in a cup' appointment at our local hospital as unfortuantely they cannot do it at a gp surgery!

How is everyone else doing? Johno, where are you at in your cycle hun?

CD29 now for me and 6dpo. AF arrived after a 9 day luteal phase last month so im feeling the nerves now!! ive been having waaaay loads of sticky glue CM recently but thats all to report! xx

seven - cycle day 50!!!! 😳 Do you feel like af is on her way or anything? I feel absolutely normal. Had some symptoms early part of last week so thought it was on its way, and now nothing. Hope your ok, how frustrating. x

Ooh moonlight that sounds incredibly similar to the homemade granola I make that me and DH have most mornings, I had no idea the ingredients had fertility boosting properties but hey maybe it worked for us!! It's a tasty healthy breakfast to have anyway

I've just made a batch of homemade "fertility" granola lol. If anyone is interested: oats, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds (magnesium, selenium & zinc good for ttc, and vitamin e which supposedly has something to do with the fluid surrounding the eggs?), Brazil nuts (selenium again for estrogen production and antioxidant), walnuts (omega3), flaxseed (good for blood flow to the uterus, balancing hormones and aiding ovulation) and vanilla extract and honey (for tastiness). I'll let you know if it's worked in about 4 weeks time lol. Plus just bought pregnacare and evening primrose oil to take until ovulation. Just hoping the opks I've ordered arrive sharpish.

Shit really did just get real Johno!! Don't know why I'm so shocked there was actually something in there?!! I'd only had a couple of cycles off the pill but they were 37-39 days (!) and I Ov'd on CD20 the cycle we concieved. Was doing OPKs for the first time that cycle twice a day and was beginning to think I'd never get a second line it was so far into cycle! We dtd the day before and day of Ov, plus a couple of days before.

Just celebrated successful scan with takeaway curry was so yum! But cobra zero turned out to be awful!

Sorry about AF moonlight hope the OPKs help you figure things out for next cycle - onwards and upwards!

Not that I know of, lucy! The sonographer only saw one in there. But she did say that doesn't mean there's not another one - they could be hiding! But right now it looks like it's a single baby. x
