Thread 4: Ttc without ease, loopy length cycles, post pill poas and everything in between!

Well I'm still waiting for my first post pill AF. My nervous belly has calmed down. I'm not peeing every 30 mins and I feel more settled. Although tonight I'm getting odd pains in my lower tummy sides so I think AF might show up this weekend. Also getting a little of the ewcm that I see you all chat about. (Never looked before) DH thinks every time we DTD that I'm preggers so I'm thinking that showing him some YouTube videos about cycles might help.

Well I've decided to keep myself busy this weekend to keep me away from the tests!

Tomorrow gym, cleaning and am out in the evening.

Sunday, gym, food shopping, clean out my old clothes and shoes and get the car washed! Lol.

Then that gets me to Monday which will be 13dpo if no af arrives by then maybe will test again. Lol.

I think EPU would just say I need a scan so I might as well wait, will chase it up early next week though. Ovia is saying I'm in my fertile week now but can't be possible if I'm still bleeding! Might do an OPK in the morning just in case.

That's the thing that's annoying me, I wish I knew when af was due at least then I would have a timeframe, but at the moment I have nothing to go by and I'm just waiting!

Ah bobo our lovely queen of the thread. It must have felt like a long old haul seeing people come and go with their bfp.

You've always been reassuring, gracious and kept all of us laughing through the tears and heartache. I can't think of anyone who deserves their bfp more.

It could be the ac highhopes thinking about it as it does affect hormones? I know it depends where you are in country as nhs is a postcide lottery but my mum had an abnormal smear result a few months ago and was rang by the drs saying urgent referral and she got her appointment for gyno dept through 2 days later for the following week so 2 weeks seems ridiculous before they will even chase it up. Can't you call epu direct and see what they say? They'll know the dangers if there are retained products?

Yes still taking AC, which makes me think that could be making me bleed as AF came when I started taking AC hmmm!

I have heard that opk's pick up pregnancy hormones but 8dpo might have been too early.

How ridiculous... Well I hope they pull their fingers out and get on with it soon! I would just take this second bleed as a further 'deep clean' until you know more! Are you still taking the AC?

I'm so tempted to test but I know I'm being irrational really. I did an opk last night just to ease my craving hahaha! ...it was neg lol. Although then I started thinking to myself, if there was any chance wouldn't the opk have picked it up?

I know I will cave and test on Saturday morning... I just know it! That will be 11dpo, still early but I don't know how long my lp is... I'm really not feeling optimistic tho, this is only cycle 1 and I'm not a lucky person lol.

I know I said 'but it was an URGENT referral due to the risk of infection' and she said referrals take at least 2 weeks even when they're urgent!

9dpo for me today... Why does the 2ww take sooooooooo long. I don't mind what the outcome is, just want it to hurry up either way!

I just called my GP surgery and the receptionist said it's too early to chase up even an urgent referral so I have to call back next week.

It's not as heavy as before thank god but it's back to bright red blood whereas the last few days of AF was and is usually browny red (tmi?).
I didn't get time to chase up my Gyno appointment today but will try tomorrow. I just felt so positive after AF going into cycle 2 hoping i would ovulate soon but now I'm back to feeling confused at what's going on with my body!
