Bumsnet Bus: Destination BFP!

All aboard the Bumsnet bus!

This bus if for anyone genuinely ttc - for anyone just starting on the ttc journey or those who have been trying for years.

No entry requirements, only that you join in supporting us all to destination BFP.

Magpie i have three months worth of Clomid to try plus a month that i saved when dh was not feeling great, go back in january and then start the motion for IVF , hope you are ok? hope your scan goes ok!!

Boris i know what you mean , about having a diagnosis, hoping the dye has flushed things through but my gut feeling is still progesterone crashing after ovulation how are you?

Rainy - glad to hear you are ok. Also glad there isn't anything obviously 'wrong' although sometimes a diagnosis could be helpful.

Magpie - are you ok today? Thinking of you, scan is tomorrow?

Thanks everyone, was not as bad as i thought, had an internal scan first and everything looks normal and then the Hycosy, i could feel it and did feel like period pain when she was moving the dye around it was not as bad as i thought, tubes look fine but they did say the shape of my womb looks abnormal slightly but nothing to stop me getting me pregnant,

hope everyone else is ok

Ghengis she said appointment in next few weeks, once results are back they will start the ball rolling with the other tests which is good news :)

Magpie that's great news, and now fingers crossed Thursday goes well as well. Also, congratulations on the baby boy news - how exciting! We're planning our honeymoon for the end of the year but nothing booked yet - unfortunately DP had to leave on Saturday for four weeks abroad for work :(

Freckle It sure is lonely isn't it? I'm glad you've come back. Good news about getting the scans done, it feels good to get things moving. Any idea when your appointment will be?

I've really missed the support on here it's a lonely old world this TTC business.

My GP called today and wants me to do the dreaded dildo cam/ultrasound scans once they have come back she's going to look into the fertility tests so things are moving along now

Boris it was the 20 week one today and it all went well thanks, everything looks healthy and we're having another boy. Just the detailed heart scan on Thursday now!

Genghis I'm so glad you finally got the wedding that you wanted after all the trouble you had with it! Are you off on honeymoon now?

Hey, just wondering if there is room for one more one this bus! I was on the bumsnet buses for what seems like a lifetime ago, have since lost my log in and can't remember the email I used.

Genghis congratulations on the wedding! So exciting! I hope the day went wonderfully and you weren't feeling too rough. Tell us all about it!

Rainy hope the hycosy went well/goes well! It's such a pain when cycles are all over the place. Hopefully you'll have answers soon.

DizzyM I hope AF stayed away anyway? Maybe time for a chat with your DH about what the plan is? It must be stressful for both of you and I bet he's thinking/worrying about it too.

DizzyN did you get your blood tests done before your holiday? Hope you're having a lovely time!

I've had a rough couple of days, been told that I have to go for a fetal heart scan next week as having the GD start so early means there's a risk of heart defects. That was a bit of a shock Sad so 20 week scan on Monday and heart scan on Thursday (it's at the big hospital in the city rather than my local one where my scans usually are). Apparently pregnancy is going to be about as straight forward for me at TTC was, I get very jealous of people (like my best friend) who conceive easily and have a straight forward time after that.
Sorry for the depressing post!

That is strange Rainy but at least you have been able to book the HyCoSy. Are you still on clomid? Just wondering if that has affected your cycle length (not that I have a clue :))

Lovely to hear from you DizzyM Yes, the big day is on Thursday - eek indeed! Sorry to read that you're feeling fed up with it all. It's all just so crap. Sounds like you need to have another proper chat though I know it's easy for me to write that - I just don't want you to give up, especially after you'd started the ball rolling with the IVF xx
