Hello!

Some of these threads are HUGE and I'm feeling a bit lost, so I'd thought I'd make a new one for anyone who is due their AF Wednesday 20th July (or thereabouts!) and are 4/5 DPO.

Symptoms so far
1-3DPO - Nothing
4DPO - sore boobs and lots of clear CM (sorry!)
5DPO - very sore lower back right in the middle, sore bbs + AF style cramps

A little about me... I've suffered x2 miscarriages over the years, one at 6 weeks and the other at 10 weeks (had a D&C). Horrible experience but hoping for a sticky bean this time! So technically I'm trying for my 1st.

Would love to know a bit about you as well and hope we can test together - and try to keep sane while waiting! Good luck everyone Smile

Happy 2WW olguitha Try not to worry about DTD. I've read in a few places of people getting a bfp when they'd actually done it less. It's more the timing that counts. Did anyone try temping? I'm thinking about it next cycle as I'm hoping it might just help me understand what my body is doing. I had EWCM yesterday which made me panic as I thought I'd totally misjudged ovulation but then I did two OPKs a few hours apart and they were both negative. Then I became dr bloody Google and found all sorts of stuff on oestrogen surges which can cause EWCM and sometimes mean your body has been gearing up to ovulate but then hasn't Confused I've since found stuff which says it can just be a normal part of your cycle so will just have to wait and see. Hope you're all good! Smile

olguitha · 12/08/2016 12:10

Well guys. Officially joining the 2ww ranks (a week later than everyione) I didn't have enough sex this time, so who knows!
Anywhoo how are the testers doing!

PurpleHaze1 · 11/08/2016 20:26

Thanks poppy i did actually wonder about the possibility of me having a longer cycle as technically I've only had 2 proper cycles since having the implant removed so it could be that it's 'normal' for me to have a longer than 28 day cycle sometimes. Time will tell...

Poppydm · 11/08/2016 19:30

Thank you purple. It might be that your AF is just later than normal. That's what happened to me when I ovulated late.

PurpleHaze1 · 11/08/2016 19:05

Glad you're feeling better poppy

I was wondering how you were getting on mighty so nice to hear from you Smile maybe your less ttc focused month will work in your favour - fingers crossed!

So I reckon I'm only 1dpo. That means I'll have a 9 day luteal phase which really isn't long enough so counting myself out already this month! I've read that vit B6 can help lengthen the LP so am going to give that a go next cycle.

Poppydm · 11/08/2016 17:45

Lovely to hear from you mighty Hope everything is ok. I'm feeling a lot better now thank you. Got some antibiotics from the doctor and she told me off for not going to the toilet after DTD Hmm
I'm not feeling too hopeful this month either. I haven't had a positive OPK this month so not sure if we've DTD around the right time. I'm now CD23 and I think around 3dpo but that's just going from a bit of cm and a few twinges.

MightyLightningMouse · 11/08/2016 17:21

Hi guys! I need a catch up with you all! Been MIA due to some personal issues, just simply not had the time to check MN. Dtd a few times this month but not much, didn't test + for ANY opks so a bit worried! Due 20th (although I started AF on the 17th last month Hmm) so I'll be testing 17th probably with a FRER. However my hearts simply not been in it this month and have a very strong feel no positive will come of it Sad

Poppy hope you feel better soon! Olguitha good luck with the revising :)

No symptoms apart from sore boobs, but I've been so caught up with other stuff that I've not really noticed anything! Makes a change from being an obsessive crazy though Grin

olguitha · 10/08/2016 10:24

I'm a mature pharmacy student purple and also on holidays. But revising for re sits Confused oops. I blame the mc.

Poppydm · 09/08/2016 21:14

I know - me too. Exciting that we can go through the agony of the TWW together and AF is due around the same time. How long do you think we'll last before were symptom spotting? Ive been absolutely ill today with a uti Sad so I'm hoping it's nothing that would interfere with conception. I've got a Drs appointment in the morning so hoping it clears off soon!

PurpleHaze1 · 09/08/2016 20:40

AF due 20th August so if it doesn't show then, I'll probably test on the 21st.

Going to try very hard not to go symptom spitting crazy this month!

Poppydm · 09/08/2016 20:26

According to Ovia, AF would be due around 21st August. I'm not going to test until AF is late (if it is late) too. When is your AF due?

PurpleHaze1 · 09/08/2016 20:03

Sounds like you've done everything you can this month poppy! Fingers crossed you get a BFP. When are you planning on testing? I am going to try very hard not to test until AF is late, if it's late!

Poppydm · 09/08/2016 19:31

No I didn't get one. I was having ovulation pains yesterday though along with ewcm (sorryBlush) so I'm just thinking this new batch are crap. They look different to the last ones I had. They're much thinner and feel quite flimsy. We managed to DTD cd 9,15,16,18,19,20 so I'm just going to forget about them this month. Yey to you getting your positive though. Hope that's put your mind at rest. Now for the TWW Confused

PurpleHaze1 · 09/08/2016 19:15

What are you revising for olguitha? I'm a mature student but am currently on holiday (though working 3 days a week).

Did you get a positive opk poppy? I just got mine! Grin I'm so relieved although now worrying about having a short luteal phase...but at least my body is gearing up to ov!

olguitha · 09/08/2016 10:07

Thank you girls! I think I'll enter my tww soon poppy and I can't atmosphere because I'm revising a lot purple but hopefully I'll be OK soon

PurpleHaze1 · 08/08/2016 18:53

Sorry you're feeling sad olguitha This ttc business can really get you down Sad Can you plan a treat for yourself this weekend to try to take your mind off it all?

Poppydm · 08/08/2016 12:12

Ah sorry to hear you're feeling sad olguitha This ttc is really tough sometimes. I think it's totally normal to feel sad about it at times. We spend so much of our lives trying not to get pregnant and waiting for the right time to try and then that time comes and we never knew how hard it was going to be. When I feel sad about it all, I just try to distract myself. Plan nice things to do, go out with friends, have a night away - or buy a lovely new rose gold phone Smile I love rose gold - I bet it's gorgeous. I'm just about to enter the 2ww - well I'm guessing. I haven't had a positive OPK this month so I'm really hoping that I have still ovulated and either just missed it or the tests are crap. Where in your cycle are you? Sending hugs your way and hoping that you are feeling better about it all soon. Think we are totally due some bfps soon!

olguitha · 08/08/2016 11:46

I'm temping aswell, like swimming and just having sex. I'm trying to take it easy because I've been so upset lately. I believe in God, so I keep praying to have strength to accept that it might never happen for us. I'm not even that far in to trying, I'm just so sad lately, For no reason, I think trying for a baby is giving me depression.

Annnnndddd to end this sad post I got a new phone and it's so nice. Rose goldGrin

PurpleHaze1 · 07/08/2016 16:44

Thanks poppy. You too!

Poppydm · 07/08/2016 16:14

Ha ha! Got my fingers crossed for you. Let me know how you get on Smile

PurpleHaze1 · 07/08/2016 15:47

Cross post again Grin

PurpleHaze1 · 07/08/2016 15:46

Ha! I've read lots of stories of people never getting a positive opk & still getting a BFP too! Clinging onto that hope!

Yours looks quite dark! Not yet positive but it's looking like you might be approaching your surge. Fx for you! It's still entirely possible that I could ov in the next few days with a 28 day cycle so I'll keep testing & hopefully the lines will get darker...

Poppydm · 07/08/2016 15:44

I think if i were you, I'd just keep checking a few times a day every day. My positives don't normally happen until around cd19 and my cycles are usually around 31 days. Then next month you could try temping?

Poppydm · 07/08/2016 15:42

We must've been typing at the same time Grin This is mine that I've just done.

AF due 20th July / 5DPO - Who Wants to Test With Me??
Poppydm · 07/08/2016 15:39

Ive read about lots of people who never got a positive on OPKs but still conceived so I'm trying not to overthink it all too much. I know what you mean though, we'd probably be so much calmer if we knew we were definitely ovulating and had an idea of when. It's all the guessing and chance that drives you a bit crazy. Just done another OPK and it's darker than this morning but still not positive. So I'll test again around 7-8 tonight.
