AF due 20th July / 5DPO - Who Wants to Test With Me??

Hello!

Some of these threads are HUGE and I'm feeling a bit lost, so I'd thought I'd make a new one for anyone who is due their AF Wednesday 20th July (or thereabouts!) and are 4/5 DPO.

Symptoms so far
1-3DPO - Nothing
4DPO - sore boobs and lots of clear CM (sorry!)
5DPO - very sore lower back right in the middle, sore bbs + AF style cramps

A little about me... I've suffered x2 miscarriages over the years, one at 6 weeks and the other at 10 weeks (had a D&C). Horrible experience but hoping for a sticky bean this time! So technically I'm trying for my 1st.

Would love to know a bit about you as well and hope we can test together - and try to keep sane while waiting! Good luck everyone Smile

Hoping to get another rise tomorrow then I'm assuming the crosshairs will appear. Is that how it worked for you swimming?

Justkeepswimming99 · 07/09/2016 09:23

Yay Purple! Nothing happening here 6dpo so a good few days away from any meaningful POAS x

PurpleHaze1 · 07/09/2016 06:35

Any update swimming?

How are you mighty?

If you're still reading, hope you're getting on well with temping poppy Smile

I got a rise yesterday morning so am officially in the 2ww...

MightyLightningMouse · 06/09/2016 21:32

Fingers crossed swimming! Nice chart Smile

PurpleHaze1 · 05/09/2016 15:34

Thanks swimming that's really interesting. Looks like you did the BD at the right time so fingers crossed for you this month!

I'm on my second day of positive OPK so hoping to see a temp shift in the next couple of days Smile

Justkeepswimming99 · 05/09/2016 08:20

Here you go Purple, last months was a bit clearer I think but I can't seem to get it now VIP feature gone. I've been a bit less vigilant this month, like getting up and going to loo before remembering, also some holiday wine involved. I think it still looks like a shift though xx

Ah ok maybe I have it already Hmm no idea! Would you mind sharing your chart? I'm so new to temping that it'd be interesting to see what a post ovulation one looks like. TIA Smile

Justkeepswimming99 · 04/09/2016 08:30

Not sure purple, it was automatic I think 'to show you what you could've won' . Was good but nothing you couldn't figure out yourself xxx

PurpleHaze1 · 04/09/2016 08:19

Hope you're having a good holiday JB Smile

PurpleHaze1 · 04/09/2016 08:18

Everything crossed for you swimming! Any plans to test before AF is due? How did you get the free VIP feature on FF?

JB1983 · 04/09/2016 01:39

Lovely names bright. I hope your sicky feelings are short-lived.

I'm on CD15 but still just getting faint lines on OPK so not in 2WW yet. Hoping that jet lag and an adjusting body clock doesn't affect ovulation but so far having too good a holiday to really have much time to worry about it just plenty of DTD hoping to catch the egg.

Justkeepswimming99 · 03/09/2016 14:15

Hi ladies, into my 4th 2ww since miscarriage now. Everything seems to suggest I've ovulated, clear blue dual, ic, Ewcm and temps look to have spiked. Have been on hols throughout anything vaguely classed as fertile period so that should deal with being stressy, I would say I'm 2dpo now, maybe 3. Using FF to track but free VIP feature which does all the detail has come to an end, pretty sure I can work most of it out now as clearly conceiving is my new obsession! 😊😊. How you all doing today?

Brightsmoke · 03/09/2016 14:09

Hi Mighty sorry went away for a few days with DH. Favourite names are Peggy and Rupert, but will probably change when we see him/her as I'm like that 😂

Suffering with sickness and nausea ATM

Sorry to hear about AF, have you managed to avoid testing so far still?

X

PurpleHaze1 · 03/09/2016 13:12

How are you doing mighty?

I'm only CD11 so not in the 2ww yet. Intrigued to see what (if anything) my temps reveal

MightyLightningMouse · 03/09/2016 12:48

purple ah bless you, no worries, was totally expecting the negative test. Who's started the 2WW?

MightyLightningMouse · 03/09/2016 12:48

Happy Saturday! How are we all Smile

PurpleHaze1 · 31/08/2016 15:12

Oh mighty I'm sorry the second test was negative Sad

How are you getting on with temping poppy?

MightyLightningMouse · 30/08/2016 18:44

Aw bright that's lovely!! They're so cute and tiny and making me mega broody!! How exciting - and it must be so nice to share your joy, especially at the early stages! Do you have any favourite names?

I don't know how many DPO as I've had no positive OPKs and period has gone crazy (in my original post I was due on 20th like clockwork and it's been getting earlier every month!!)

Bad news on the test front, re tested and it's a definite negative Sad I thought as much! I'll be testing around the 15th onwards now if anyone rose is l (although the way AF has been I'll probably come on tomorrow lol)

Brightsmoke · 30/08/2016 16:45

Definitely get a tesco one Mighty I was impressed!! How many DPO are you? (Sorry I'm sure your probably answered that above!)

I bought these little shoes, attached them to pink and blue balloons with a tag saying for daddy on. He was so emotional 😂 Soppy sod. I'm only just over 4 weeks, so I really shouldn't be telling anyone yet, but I figured you ladies should be fine! I can't wait to tell my parents, have bought this sign to tell them with! Due 5-8th may depending what I use to calculate :) x

Thank you for the input purple It is isn't it!! Oh well it's the most line I've had so far Grin I'll update when I'm home

PurpleHaze1 · 30/08/2016 15:05

Oh I'm not sure mighty it's very very faint. Test again when you're home. Everything crossed for you! Smile

MightyLightningMouse · 30/08/2016 15:04

Brightsmoke How did you surprise DH/DP?? You must be so excited! Is this your first DC? Oooh I'm tempted to try a Tescos one now, I've just got a mountain of those cheap internet ones! Hence why I think I've got dye run (pic above) So the only symptoms that were unusual for you were achey legs and nausea? Whens the due date? Smile

Purple By sleep patterns do you mean you're struggling to sleep, or..? It sounds like you're doing everything you can to track Smile I was googling on how to track ovulation for irregular periods, and the only things we can really do is temp, chart, use ov strips, and check flippin' mucus! (I hate doing it that way, it never looks like it's supposed to on the day you need it to lol) You need to buy yourself a pretty temping notebook Grin Let me know how you get on, I'm TEMP-ted (lol gettit?!) to start myself.

Poppy Glad you're feeling ok! In the nicest way possible I'm glad its not just me struggling with ov, it all sounds so easy doesn't it?! Until it comes to actually doing it yourself! My cycle length is usuallyHmm 30, but its been 33, 32, 31, and 29 (averaged out at 30) this past year. Let me know how you find temping

Checked Google last night and I should be CD16 and apparently I'm due to ovulate around 28th - 2nd September so I'll be POAOS crazy this week! Still feeling completely clueless and frustrated!

MightyLightningMouse · 30/08/2016 14:45

Guys I need your best squinting eyes! I'm so confused. I've been having nausea since last week, and last night my gums started bleeding for no reason wtf. So I decided to test today (got loads of the bloody things, as every time I'm due to test AF appears! Not amused.)

Is this a dye run do you reckon? I'll take another one soon as I'm home (at work at the mo).

My period was so weird this month, but I do honestly think it's a dodgy test. (Although a part of me really hopes it isn't!!) Whatcha reckon? Was with FMU. Thank you!

PurpleHaze1 · 30/08/2016 12:50

poppy I really don't rate the Clearblue Dual Hormone OPKs. They gave me a peak reading on CD9 two months in a row despite there being barely a hint of a line on the ICs and no smiley on a normal CB OPK ( yes I am obsessed with POAS!). Plus my cycles are at least 28 days long so I don't see how I was ovulating on CD9! It could be that there's something wrong with my hormone levels (thats what Clearblue said to me) but I wouldn't waste my money on them again. I do quite like the normal CB OPKs though. When I get a dark line on the IC, I use the CB to check & it gives me a smiley. By doing it that way, I can make the CB ones last longer as I only use them when I know I'm really close to ovulating.

I've never used the Fertility Monitor but have heard good things about it. It's £££ though which puts me off although I probably spend more over time on the various OPKs I use!

PurpleHaze1 · 30/08/2016 12:44

Glad you're doing well bright Smile

Good to hear from you mighty. Temping is fine although I'm worried that my sleep patterns are so erratic that I might not get a clear trend. Hoping it'll reveal something though. I'm using the fertility friend app & kind of hoping it'll just work it all out for me. Ha! Although I have become slightly obsessed with googling BBT charts to see what they look like Hmm At the moment I only have 3 days worth of data so it's not showing anything yet obviously. Still using IC OPKs as well - covering all bases! Ha ha!
