Ohhhh washing, did 3 loads today and yes i know what you mean about the smell. Came down with a cold last night and missed the BD so will have to make up for it tonight (3 nights without). Hopefully OV sticks right and that i'm not ovulating CD11. Just can't cope with a cold at the moment. DD been vomiting all week!

jhyesmum · 11/03/2007 10:46

Thanks mumtosam. Never thought this would happen to me, you always think that your parents are indestuctable!

mum2sam · 11/03/2007 10:43

oh yesmum, im so sorry i will be thinking and praying for you all xx

jhyesmum · 11/03/2007 10:41

Morning everyone.

Oooooooh insy I hope AF isn't too much like mine! I was so relieved when she'd buggered off! I had never missed a period in my life (lie, only when i was pg with DS), and I really paid for it!!

I had shares in Kotex night time pads!

I have no experience of OV stuff i'm afraid, so i can't give any advice.

I know when AF is coming because I bite DH head off for a week! But, I don't know when i'm OVing.

What are you all up to today? DH has gone out on his motorbike (his mistress!!!) so I think it's a washing day! Looks like a good drying day today.

I love nice fresh washing, does anyone else go along the line and smell their wahing while it's drying or is it just me!!!

insywinsyspider · 10/03/2007 20:37

relieved but af from hell! hoping they get closer and lighter! (jhyesmum - think i'm having an af like your last one!)

buttercup - no advice as my cycle is rubbish but whatever the sticks say keep at it every 2 days temps next cycle may give you some reassurance, also what time do you take ov test? someone told me that was important...

buttercupbabe · 10/03/2007 19:18

Well another negative on the ov sticks - god knows whats going on. All my biological signs seem right... Think i'll start taking my temp next month not sure the stress of the ov sticks is really worth it. Oh well I'll continue with the bd and just keep my fingers crossed.
Good luck lexie

Lexie100 · 10/03/2007 14:03

Ov sticks might be wrong. If your urine is too weak it may not show up.

I'm taking my temp and using ov sticks plus looking for biological signs!!!!! Got to get some sign soon - cd10 and 9 days left in my fertile window. Still lots of BD to do .

buttercupbabe · 10/03/2007 09:51

Hi all.
Glad to hear your news insey - you must be so relieved!
I'm feeling really stressed today. I'm on cd 14 today and my cycles are normally 25 - 29 days long. I've been doing the op tests and had nothing but bfn's all week. On thurs and fri I was sure I'd get a positive as I'd had the egg white cm (sorry for tmi)but still nothing. Although I'm worried that the cm might have been remnants of bd-ing 8 hours earlier. Now am really scared incase I'm not ovulating and wishing i'd been taking temps as I would then know for sure. My af's are always the same so surely I am ovulating? Sorry to have a moan but i need to get this off my chest...

insywinsyspider · 10/03/2007 08:48

hurrah! af arrived last night that explains why i was so emotional this week, does mean i had a 55 day cycle lets hope it gets shorter... so charting and opks then this month to see if i can work out whats going on - figured if it doesn't show me anything at least its data to show doc

very today and dh says sod waiting till i start work lets try anyway and if it happens it happens feel like we may have a chance now, fingers crossed for the best christmas present ever!

insywinsyspider · 09/03/2007 22:33

thanks furry - jumped onto other thread for advice

FurryFox · 09/03/2007 20:43

insy - I only know the basics but basically I think you have to take your temp at the same time each day, in the morning I think and before you get out of bed, you need to have at least 3 hours unbroken sleep as well. Think you just take your temp from your mouth. However I'm not 100% sure as I have never done it myself. There are far more people on here that know a lot more about temping than me.

You may have noticed a thread in 'conception' called 'temping buddies'. They're a group of girls that take their temps each day etc, if you pop in there I'm sure one of them will be able to fill you in a lot more than me

insywinsyspider · 09/03/2007 20:19

hi girls - anyone done charting? in an attempt to take control i'm going to start plotting my temp but not sure how where do you take it? if af arrives also have opks too to see what they tell me - arriving from ebay very soon!

insywinsyspider · 09/03/2007 20:17

jhyesmum - i've written this post about 3 times and i just can't find the right words, can only say theres a virtual coffee and chat here whenever you need it, just keep talking about it x

Lexie100 · 09/03/2007 19:56

All my thoughts will be with you over the next few days.

jhyesmum · 09/03/2007 17:49

Thanks Girls - so appreciated. And I really mean that.

I'm having this really hard exterior at the moment, trying to keep everything together. My daddy is going through hell and my sis is really fragile, so i feel that at least if i can keep strong, when it comes to the results, one of us is going to deal with it.

However, inside i am falling apart. I refuse to let myself go though because i'm scared i won't be able to pull myself together. I'm not that sort of person. I'm all funny, happy go lucky type of gal, but i have got to admit that this is breaking me down quite a bit.

My DH bless his heart is saying 'look, we don't know she's got it yet' but just looking at mummy at the minute is breaking my heart.

Sorry for rambling. That's my feelings at the minute and it's the first time i have said it, so thanks for listening!

insywinsyspider · 09/03/2007 17:10

hi jhyesmum, think furry said it all - thinking of you all and hope Thursday comes really quickly for you x

FurryFox · 09/03/2007 17:00

jhyesmum - I am so sorry you are going through this and sorry for the rest of your family as well. It is horrible not knowing and at least once you have the results as you say, you will know what you are dealing with. I do obviously hope the results of her tests come back and show that she doesn't haven't cancer.

I hope you are feeling as well as possible and don't be sorry for 'lowering the tone', I like to think this thread is to give each other support and not just with TTC (((hugs)))

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all ok

jhyesmum · 09/03/2007 16:46

Hi All!

Not much TTC happening here i'm afraid! Too much to think about at the mo.

Mum has had tests done. The results of the biopsy will be back on thursday (mum and dads wedding anniversary!. Looks like it is cancer. Obviously we are hoping it isn't.

Mum's really poorly at the minute and is living on complan and lucozade.

Oh it's so heart breaking to see her like this. We just want thursday to be here so we know what we are dealing with. At least then she can have treatment and we hope upon hope she will get better.

Sorry for lowering the tone.

Hope everyone's ok and having plenty of rumpy pumpy!!

insywinsyspider · 09/03/2007 09:19

from what i can remember from my limited investigations last time i think sperm count over 20 mil is considered good... dh never had his check though as we only got to having my blood tests done

MamaMaiasaura · 08/03/2007 23:07

FurryFox · 08/03/2007 21:27

Hi Ammy, nice to see you Hope you're busy with wedding plans and getting excited for your big day. Is your DD going to be a bridesmaid? When are you going to start ttc again?

My third month now ttc and still trying to stay relaxed but can feel myself starting to fail miserably at the whlole relaxed thing. Want to pg now

ammylovesolivia · 08/03/2007 21:19

Hello all-just popping in to make sure you are all ok and doing lots of BDing

TTC still on hold here- wedding in 9 months- so am very watching you all getting excited and hopeful!!

FurryFox · 08/03/2007 21:11

insy - Glad you've had a lovely day with DS. The sunshine has been lovely today and reminded me how much I miss the summer . Good luck for the docs next week, I hope they're good with you and help you get some answers Like the new name by the way. I knew there was a 'ready' alredy which is why I've tried to avoid calling you ready and usually type R&W or similar, didn't want there to be any confusion

I'm fine thanks. Nothing really to say about me. Am CD6 today so getting nearer to the busy time of the month Having a conservatory built at the moment and have the pasterer coming tomorrow so that should be fun....oh how I lead such an exciting life

insywinsyspider · 08/03/2007 20:42

evening all - been lurking on other threads and realised there is already a MNer called Ready so am having a name change from readyandwaiting to avoid confusion if i get brave and post on other threads... new name is only cause i was lacking inspiration!

anyway.... am off to gps next week so can feel like taking control of situation - kept busy today and loads of time enjoying the sunshine in park with ds good therapy

mum2sam - sorry to hear bout af

awen - goodluck for next 17 nights not going mad i frequently look at edd but then made myself look like a right nutter by some of the posts recently so prob not a good comparison!

furry - noticed loads of nice messages but nothing about you, hope everythings ok with you

hope evryone else is ok too x

Lexie100 · 08/03/2007 17:01
