line on superdrug early pregnancy test

Hi I think AF is due tomorrow but took a superdrug test today as have been feeling sick on and off all day. (I know this could be completely unrelated) the instructions said to read the test within 3 minutes but after 4ish minutes a faint line started to appear. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this? It was dipped for the correct amount of time ect and this didn't happen to the one I took 2 days ago (same brand). Should I just dismiss it? I only have 2 digital tests left now , which aren't as sensitive and no chance of getting any more for a few days. I'll try and attach some pictures.

I know light lines = pregnant but my lines were quite dark and now they are getting lighter even using the same brand.

Last night I took the asda tests in the picture above but the (same brand) test I took today with fmu was a lot lighter and won't even show on a picture.

Im going to make a doctors appointment today but could be waiting ages. Do you think I could ring the midwife led unit? They do all the pregnancy appointments from booking in.

Thank you for the replies. If I've come across rude, I really don't mean to be. I'm just worried. DH is being a bit rubbish.

It could be that you are in the very early stages of pregnancy, light lines don't automatically mean a chemical pregnancy.

tillyann2013 · 05/07/2016 06:52

Can't you get a blood test at all? Fingers crossed for you X

elodie2000 · 05/07/2016 06:51

When tests are negative there is no second line at all! Not even a light blury line! You'd see nothing! The chances are you are pregnant OP! Go to a walk in family planning centre or book a GP appointment and ask them to test & confirm!

Took a test with fmu and the line was so faint that it won't even show up on a picture. I'm so sad. Sad

I'm just worried that the lines are getting fainter. Everything I've read online says its sign of a chemical pregnancy. Sorry I know I'm going on a bit. Just so worried.

I was always told most inaccurate results are false negatives as the tests detect Hcg so false positives are less likely!

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 04/07/2016 22:20

I'm going to take another as soon as I wake up.

They all look like positives to me. Fingers crossed the lines keep getting darker.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 04/07/2016 21:47

The pictures aren't very clear. Sorry.

How likely is it that I'm having a chemical pregnancy? The clear blue is really strong but the asda ones are so faint. I'm so worried. Sad

I can still see lines on both asda tests!

pinkieandperkie · 04/07/2016 21:13

I think I can see a line.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 04/07/2016 21:01

I'm not sure it will show up.

I've been reading loads online about false positives with clear blue plus tests so now I'm worried I'm not actually pregnant. I brought some asda tests (which are more sensitive that CB) and there was only a very very faint line. I'll try get a picture but it's that faint I doubt it will show up. I'm worried that if I am pregnant, it's a chemical pregnancy Sad

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 03/07/2016 15:35

That is most definitely a positive - congrats!

Okay so had a change of plans today and managed to get a normal clear blue. Got this result after 2 mins.

I used a superdrug one and I nearly threw the test away as I thought it was negative, then the line came up after around 5 mins. DS is 2 now Smile

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 03/07/2016 08:47

I looked at the test from yesterday again this morning and it's now a thick dark pink line.

I took an Internet cheapie today using fmu but it was negative. I've woken up feeling really sick again.

Digital tests aren't very sensitive anyway.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 02/07/2016 18:48

Thanks for those pictures sunnydays. I'm glad your test turned out to be a real positive. I don't want to get too hopeful. I caved and did the digital but it was negative. But I was expecting that. I'm going to test again on Monday I think.
