We're a nice big group now, aren't we. It's so nice to hear how everyone else is getting on. Welcome, new people!

Good luck, Garden and Expat! The two week wait is so hard but for me it goes much quicker at home with DS than it did when I was at work. He does seem to get a bit temperamental the week before AF too and I was wondering if the PMS hormones get passed through in the breastmilk. Anyone else noticed that?

Fingers crossed for your ovulation too, Jooni. Great that you have the signs there.

Jooni · 28/06/2016 18:06

Aah Garden keeping everything crossed for you! 10dpo already gives you a good LP - I've still not made it past 7 Sad Hoping for good news soon!

expatvet · 28/06/2016 16:47

Haha...well maybe, maybe not...will keep everything crossed for Sunday or Monday! Am already finding the 2ww dragging and I'm only 2dpo!!!!!

OP posts:
Gardencentregroupie · 28/06/2016 15:35

Hmm. Ought to leave it until at least Sunday really. I reckon this is probably just pmt though, every now and again I get a dose of pmt that gives me false hope so this is probably just that. I did just cry reading 'the smartest giant in town' when we went to the library so the stupidly emotional side of pmt is all present and correct Hmm

expatvet · 28/06/2016 14:21

positive vibes heading your way garden! when are you going to test?

OP posts:
Gardencentregroupie · 28/06/2016 12:48

10dpo and mega sensitive nipples. I had the most vivid dream that I tester and got a bfp last night. Argh I'm going to be so disappointed when my period comes in a few days!

expatvet · 28/06/2016 12:42

Hi fern! great to have you on board! Yeah! Hopefully weaning will be just what you need to get your bfp! xx

Fingers crossed the sleeping stays good pumpkin! Send some sleep vibes to lullaby's little one!!

garden 10dpo... only 4 days to wait to test! fingers crossed!

Didn't manage to dtd again so well and truly in the 2ww and hoping for a 1 hit wonder! Next month I will plan some quiet time with DH around my fertile window rather than a house full and social events for days on end!

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new members! Nice to have such a big group of us Smile

Garden fingers crossed for you, sounds good! Though that also sounds like me 80% of the time, haha.

aries CM returning was a big sign of impending AF for me. I had bouts of very copious, runny CM on and off for about 6-8 weeks before I finally got my first PPAF, and I was pretty sure it was on its was because I'd had a good stretch of EWCM about 2 weeks before. (No pun intended. Ew, sorry Wink)

Oracle I'm taking Angus for the first time this cycle so I can't pass on my experience yet, but I feel fine and DD doesn't seem to have noticed a change in taste or supply or anything. I'll keep you posted.

I'm in my fertile window at the moment, I think. EWCM for the past 3-4 days now, with a definite peak today so far. The last two cycles I've had EWCM which comes and goes for well over a week before (hopefully) O, but never as clear and copious as now. I don't know if that could be a result of the Vit B and Angus or if it's just natural progression over time, but I'm feeling positive that I'll O this cycle. I've been rubbish at temping but it might be time to get the thermometer out again for curiosity's sake.

MamaFern · 27/06/2016 14:51

Hello ladies! Can I join? :)

I weaned my 14 month old 2 months ago, just got my first postpartum period last week.

TTC #2, Cycle 1, Day 4

We had been trying since my son was about 8 months old but it just wasn't happening. Can finally get started now!

Baby dust to everyone :)

Gardencentregroupie · 27/06/2016 09:03

expat my DD was a one time wonder, it only takes once so you never know :)

TheOracleAtSelfie · 27/06/2016 08:52

Expat any chance of DTD today just in case?

Pumpkin sorry to hear AF showed her face, here's hoping next month is luckier. Brew

expatvet · 27/06/2016 06:20

Welcome oracle, napping, firstime, aries!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS jp!!!! That's such great news!

Everything crossed for you garden..

Sorry pumpkin a new month answer another try.

I'm a bit miffed as only managed to dtd on Friday then between a busy busy weekend with friends staying and DH getting a bit drunk on Saturday when we had lots of people over for a braai (grrrrr) etc etc it just didn't happen again. Miffed. A one time wonder is pretty unlikely so have very little hope this month. I'm pretty sure I'm 1dpo good luck everyone xx

Welcome oracle, first time, napping, aries.

Sorry about AF pumkin here's hoping we have more BFPs on the thread this cycle.

Lovely weekend here but DS totally off his usual schedule and wouldn't sleep til after 9 last night then up at 12, 2, 4...and ended up BFing more than once. Trying to get back on track today.

garden hope the rage is a good sign Smile

jpclarke · 26/06/2016 23:45

So sorry to hear that Pumkin, take care and be kind to yourself. Next month is a new month.

That sounds like me last week gardencentre so wishing you luck.

Welcome aboard napping, firsttimenewbie and Aries I hope this group is lucky for you all.

TheOracleAtSelfie · 26/06/2016 21:00

Hi napping! waves

What's the deal with taking agnus? I've read mixed things about it. Has anyone found it to be useful in bringing back their cycle?

aries92 · 26/06/2016 14:57

Another newbie wanting to join!

Age: 24
TTC: #2
DS 9mo

BF around 3 times a day and 3/4 times through the night. Not using any contraception but rarely DTD due to crappy shifts/tiredness/co sleeping. Also no PP AF yet but have started to have CM so maybe things are happening?

Congrats to those with BFPs, you give me hope that it is possible whilst BFing/weaning!

Gardencentregroupie · 26/06/2016 13:32

I'm about 8dpo today, tender boobs, nursing aversion, and a bloody dreadful temper. Absolutely everything is annoying the shit out of me.

NappingRabbit · 26/06/2016 12:42

Hi, another newbie here.

Not currently TTC but planning to start in the next month or two. We have one DS 14 months old who has pretty much stopped breastfeeding of his own accord in the last couple of weeks (sob).

I came off the mini pill at the start of April with a view to letting my body sort itself out before TTC but am yet to see even a hint of a period so am expecting things to take a little while this time around. We were very lucky with DS to fall pregnant first cycle. Thankfully I feel a bit more laid back this time - the primal need to be pregnant RIGHT NOW isn't as strong so I am hoping to not stress and be happy to go with the flow.

I have been taking Agnus Castus for a month or so in an effort to encourage regular periods to return, and am taking folic acid.

Ps hi Oracle Wink

Pumkinpie1 · 26/06/2016 12:29

AF arrived today Angry
But first real month trying n didn't get very clear results from ovulation sticks

firsttimenewbie · 26/06/2016 11:15

Room for a little one. Just started trying as my first period stopped yesterday. TTC no2. DD is 4 months old and has slept through since 3 months so no night feeds for a while. A bit concerned about milk drying up so interested you go hear how you go jp xx

jpclarke · 26/06/2016 06:30

Thank you Cineraria and pumpkin, I will hopefully have some graduates following me soon too. It doesn't seem to have affected my milk supply so hopefully everything will be ok. My ds I think would be devastated if the milk was all gone.

Pumkinpie1 · 25/06/2016 22:07

Congrats JP ! Wish u a very happy n health pregnancy !
Welcome oracle nice to have a new member !

TheOracleAtSelfie · 25/06/2016 16:39

Hello all! Room for another on the thread?

Although ideally I'd like a bigger age gap I've agreed to stopping trying NOT to get pregnant as DH would like another DC soon.

AFAIK I'm not fertile as no AF yet - DD is still a massive boob fiend and still bf's all the time (cosleeping too).

Plan is to keep an eye on cervical fluid and see what's going on, with an eye to properly ttc in the autumn. Any tips / advice gladly received.

Stats are:
Age 28
TTC #2
DD 14 months
Not really "trying" yet!

Cineraria · 25/06/2016 11:52

Congratulations, JP. Such good news. Wishing you lots of luck for a happy and healthy pregnancy.
