sounds like a great plan boatrace she can have a nice big breakfast while you have a snooze! am noting this one for future reference!

napping hate the waiting hope you have a busy weekend to distract yourself.

pumpkin sounds positive and you're doing all you can to catch the elusive egg!

Pumkinpie1 · 11/08/2016 10:47

Hi lullaby not on the clearblue but physically things look like I could be. Just keep trying to dtd every other day on the off chance lol
Glad your lo is doing well off the feeds too lullaby, and keep us updated

Good luck with dropping the feed Boatrace, so glad your lo is starting to settle so hard weaning !

I might get some B6 too, jooni, I take a multi vitamin at the min so will check it's not already in.
I hate the wait to ovulation napping it's seems like such a long wait, got my fingers crossed for you x

NappingRabbit · 11/08/2016 08:14

Glad things are going better boatrace

Jooni I've also bought some B6 to take this cycle. Will see how things go!

CD7 here, the calm before the storm. I usually ovulate around CD18-20 so just waiting it out.

boatrace30 · 11/08/2016 07:51

Hi lullaby. Much better night last night, so think she is getting used to it. Will drop the morning feed at the weekend which will be hard but more DHs problem... I can stay in bed while he gets up and distracts her Wink

lullaby23 · 11/08/2016 05:43

jooni I'm sure I read somewhere that vitamin b6 is a good all round vitamin for conception i don't think it would do any harm? AC works for lots of people and it sounds like you're getting benefits with your LP lengthening.

How are you & dd doing boatrace?

Any ovulation signs yet pumkin?

Took DS for 15m check up and he's put on a kilo since 12m Shock so am not at all concerned that dropping his feeds has affected him now!!

How is everyone?

TheOracleAtSelfie · 10/08/2016 20:49

Oops, I keep dropping off the thread.

Nothing much to report, cd 10. Flashing smiley on digi OPK but I got that last month without ovulating (I think) so not holding my breath but will be interesting to see what happens.

Hope everyone is ok.

Jooni · 09/08/2016 10:33

lullaby Great news Grin Sounds like your cycle is spot-on at the moment, now just to wait and see! As Pumkin said, you've done all you can now.

Glad you've bounced back from your Angus experiment. I'm keeping a close eye on things this cycle compared to last to see if AC + B6 is worth continuing with for me - I don't want to be doing more harm than good! Confused I've been taking both for 2 cycles so far and have O'd earlier and had a longer LP by several days each time, but that could just be time and reduced bfing. I'm still taking both for now but sticking to the lower doses, and if there's not much progress this cycle then I think I'll stop the supps and try going au naturel. It's encouraging to hear that if I do decide to stop, things return to "normal" quickly!

Boatrace Hugs to you, it's an emotional time. You've done amazingly well so far, and will continue to do so. Don't be too hard on yourself.

lullaby23 · 09/08/2016 09:57

Thanks pumkin as it was 14/15 days last month I have no idea if it will change back!

Oh no boatrace how upsetting for you and DD I'm sorry she is finding it difficult and hope you can both get through it the best as possible Sad

Fertility Friend is the best app imho, I think it is more reliable compared to Ovia and Glow provided you temp and opk, it works out the ovulation date properly. The others tended to jump around a bit which was annoying. also as so many women use it they have a lot of data to analyse and you can compare charts that are similar to yours. However that said it is not the prettiest or the most user friendly! Also it doesn't really work until you have your first AF dates to enter (although you could fudge it) which put me off before my cycles returned.

boatrace30 · 09/08/2016 08:49

Back from holiday and catching up with the thread. Sorry to everyone who is having frustrating cycles. Still getting ewcm on and off but no sign of AF or a bfp. So reluctantly have started to fully wean. I thought it would be easy as often dd isn't that bothered, but it turns out she is and has been distraught every evening. Sad. It's horrible. On another note, can anyone recommend a good app for iPhone for fertility tracking. I had one I really liked but just changed to an iPhone.

Pumkinpie1 · 09/08/2016 06:44

Lullaby Hope your LP reverts back to 12 days , fingers crossed you get your positive this month.
Least you know you have done everything you could !

lullaby23 · 08/08/2016 00:22

Well that's something jooni 10/11 sounds solid and shows a clear improvement for you.

Good for you pumkin keep at it haha! But hope you do O especially after all your hard work.

Well looks like I ov'd yesterday which was CD15 according to FF and 16 according to CBFM (first day of AF was light spotting) so much more normal for me post Angus! DTD Fri /Sat /Sun and got a "high" rating from FF oh how I crave approval...!

If my LP reverts to its usual 12 days I will be due AF on the day of a friend's wedding so may need to test before then to see if I should drink. Will be back in the UK on hols by then so at least hpts are cheaper and hopefully will be kept busy and not dwelling too much on TWW (yeah right).

NappingRabbit · 07/08/2016 21:46

Sorry Jooni - fingers crossed for next month.

Pumkinpie1 · 07/08/2016 19:38

Glad LP is progressing jooni ! Let's hope you crack it next month

No sign yet of ovulating lullaby don't no where that's gone we have dtd cycle days 14, 16 &17 just incase might let him have tonight off Winklol n try Monday as that will be cycle day 19

Did you manage to dtd on your selected days lullaby ?
any body waiting post ovulation?

Jooni · 07/08/2016 18:39

Thanks lullaby. Nope, LP length of 10/11 days this cycle (do you count the day AF starts or not?) was an improvement on last month's 7/8, and 3 days the month before that Confused Was gutted to get AF yesterday, as ever, but on the bright side I'm happy to see a clear progression in LP length there and hoping for a full 14 days next cycle!

lullaby23 · 07/08/2016 09:43

Oh no that's a shame napping but on the bright side it's good your cycle length is about right. As others have said it might take a couple of months to get back to 'normal' was the same for me too.

Sorry you're having a crappy cycle pumkin any sign of ovulation yet? Fingers crossed for you.

jooni also sorry about AF turning up, is that your usual LP length? Hope next month is your month.

Pumkinpie1 · 06/08/2016 13:43

Sorry jooni
Fingers crossed for next cycle

Jooni · 06/08/2016 06:12

More blood today, and it's heavier. Looks like this is the witch after all. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

Jooni · 05/08/2016 19:53

Sorry Napping Sad At least you sort of know where you stand now, must have been so frustrating not knowing what was going on! Great news re. cycle length too.

I'm 10DPO today and finally a few things seem to be happening, though as ever it's anyone's guess as to whether it's AF on her way or implantation Confused Yesterday I had a couple of big globs of EW-consistency CM, which is normal for me just before AF, but this was especially thick and yellowish and I only got it a couple of times then back to dry. Then today I've been mainly dry but had a couple of tiny bits of the same stuff, once with a clear pink streak in it. This was about 4 hours ago, and I've had no bleeding since, so I'm on tenterhooks now to see if AF turns up tomorrow or not. Usually once I start spotting that's it, so if I get nothing tomorrow I'll be feeling tentatively positive. Just trying not to get my hopes up too soon...

TheOracleAtSelfie · 05/08/2016 17:39

napping hmm that's annoying. That would be a good cycle length though. Mine was around 26 days pre-DD so I'm interested to see what happens this month, currently on CD5 and I think AF is just finished.

Pumkinpie1 · 05/08/2016 17:19

Thank you lullaby !, hope you get chance to get some down time this weekend
not having a great month here AF lasted 12 days Sadnow on day 16 still no ovulation. I honestly don't no what's happening ! Some one suggested maybe id had a very early m/c as AF so long and different don't no what to think if honest. I just want to ovulate n get a positive ! I really wanted this month as would make due date 2 years after my lo was due
Really sorry napping I can't see a line but might be the picture
Bimbum the test looks positive to me like some one said get retesting soon!
Glad you had a good break jooni n got done down time

NappingRabbit · 05/08/2016 16:44

Bimbum that def looks positive to me too!

Pretty sure my squintiest of lines was nothing to write home about - bleeding is heavier since I posted this morn and now like a light period so think it's all just been a dodgy run up to AF. Never mind, I'm not too disappointed as an April birthday would be mayhem in my family of April babies and I really wouldn't want any attention being taken away from DS's birthday in years to come. I think a September baby would be wonderful so I have a few months to play with! Positive news is that counting today as CD1 leaves me with a 31 day cycle which is about what they used to be. I thought the first few might be extra long while my body got back into things so I'm happy.

lullaby23 · 05/08/2016 12:41

bimbim clear positive to me! I believe CB are 25 miu/ml sensitivity whereas FR are 12.5 so it's possible to get a negative on the former and positive on the latter if your hcg is between.

napping I can't see anything yet I'm afraid but keeping everything crossed for a clearer line in the next couple of days.

TheOracleAtSelfie · 05/08/2016 10:59

bimbum that looks very positive!

TheOracleAtSelfie · 05/08/2016 10:57

napping it's a squinter but I see it! Retest in a couple of days, superdrug tests are v sensitive (and cheaper than FRER). Potentially exciting!

Jooni · 05/08/2016 10:54

Abraham Good news Smile

Pumkin Thank you! How are you getting on?

lullaby Thank you. Yes, plenty of r+r on holiday with DH haha Wink Best of luck this weekend!

Napping I'm afraid I can't see anything on that test just yet, sorry Sad I'm notoriously bad at spotting squinters though and it's still early days if I remember correctly and you're 11DPO. Do test again in a couple of days if you're still not sure. But also just bear in mind that the first few PPAFs can be very weird, so this could just be a very light period. Sorry, I don't want to put a downer on things - really hoping it's not! It's just been quite a long period of spotting for an IB.

Bimbum Er.. that looks positive to me! When did you take the top test? CB digitals are not that sensitive so 12 days post DTD is really early for an accurate result. As I said before, you could have ovulated a few days after that, making you only between 8-12 DPO when you took the CB - very early to test. I'm sure you're completely sick of looking at preg tests by now, but honestly I think it's worth testing again in a day or two. That FRER you posted has a clear line in my book.
