Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Going to Wales tomorrow morning... so hopefully can plug in and keep in touch or at least post my temps... Should be ovulating whilst I'm away... I did an Ovulation test about 1/2 hour ago and got my first faint line of the month so hopefully I am starting my LH surge... These bloody sticks better work or they are going in the bin for next month...

And yes we will stick away from the swimming pool!

Take Care guys and hopefully will be able to catch up with you all, otherwise speak on Sunday.. Have fun XX

greedyforbabies · 06/02/2007 22:40

Ready · 06/02/2007 19:34

Bloody hell Greedy... you are keen to get me going aren't you!! I'm still wearing a liner in my laceys, so DH ain't coming near me for a couple more days!! I will try not to let you down though!! I am geared up for plenty of action this cycle!!!!!

iwill - 36.60 CD4 (9th cycle ttc)

ready - yeah i have been exploring ff and it is quite good actually, you can add bits and pieces onto it as you want which i have done so its great for a freebie!!

rahrah i love your idea about us all staying here til we get preggers...i hope your good vibes are right!

will post againlater

greedyforbabies · 06/02/2007 15:45

fettle - great news you have your scan for thursday. i really hope it puts your mind at rest

honeyapple - i hope you dont mind me being here still. you dont do you? i think rahrah is right and we should all hang around until everyone gets their bfps! i can feel a lot coming up this month!

minxi - dont tell me 3 is hard work! its too late now! i am thinking it will be a piece of piss, dont shatter my dreams!

ready - started shagging yet? i know you are keen this month! (dont prove my psychic powers wrong!)

mum03 - whats your xray for if thats not too nosey?

lottie - sorry you are still down, is your mum still being insensitive? just make sure you get a few shags in over the next few days, dont let your other problems get in the way of ttc otherwise in 2 weeks time you will regret it. (did that sound bossy and out of order? sorry if it did)

rahrah - i REALLY think you should give the swimming pool shag a miss this time! its an outdoor pool isn't it? you are cold enough already! within normal range though as someone else said, and it has been colder the last few days and my temp has been down a bit too and you would expect mine to stay constant now, so dont worry its probably just the weather!

BBW - how long is your lp normally? how long do we have to wait for some news?

Ready · 06/02/2007 14:35

If you need to have an x-ray then you just need to tell the doc that there is a chance you might be pg, and let them choose to test you or wrap you in xray protection gear

mum03 · 06/02/2007 14:33

I will not test til at least 2 days late

I will not test til at least 2 days late

I will not test til at least 2 days late

but what about needing an x-ray when I am now due????? shall I ????? OK OK don't hit me ready, I am trying I really am trying ttc!!!!

Ready · 06/02/2007 13:57

Honeyapple, when you said you noticed EWCM more than normal, I wondered straight away if you'd been drinking grapefruit juice. A-ha! Well fingers crossed it made for a wonderful environment for the o~

Ready · 06/02/2007 13:55

Mum03, I am glad that I wasn't responsible for upsetting you (although, I obviously didn't help, and for that I am sorry)... Right... you mustn't start thinking about testing. You'll never get an accurate reading this early. It's a waste of money and a waste of precious positivity. Say it with me "I will not test til at least 2 days late"

mum03 · 06/02/2007 13:36

ready - its ok you did not upset me, I was just in a really down mood anyway and anything was going to make me feel bad, I am feeling slightly more positive today and trying to visualise all of us here on this thread being pg. Definitely need honeyapple to share some of her current positivity, and you to stop me already planning when should I test, and I am not even half way through the 2ww yet!

honeyapple · 06/02/2007 12:52

Ready-
Regarding the grapefruit juice question- I did drink a glass every day up till OV- so who knows, maybe it did do some good, cos I definitley noticed a lot more EWCM.

Ready · 06/02/2007 12:18

Lottie, Sorry you are not on great form at the moment, try to keep your chin up. I agree that this smaller group is nicer. A bit more personal, so when the BFPs happen (and they will) it will feel nice (IYKWIM?)

Fettle, good luck on thursday, try not to worry too much. I know it's impossible. Relax. Thinking of you flower. Again, agree, it's great to have a group of like-minded people to share ttc with, it is a lonely thing sometimes, the hut is just a tad hardcore for me.

Mum03, I am very sorry that I upset you, and that you felt got at. You shouldn't stop saying what you feel in case you regret it though, if it's what you feel, it's worth typing. I'm afraid that I will never understand how anyone can "prefer" one gender over the other. I think it is very different to say that it would be nice for dd to have a sister. What is worrying to me is when people "desperately want" one gender over the other. Sorry. I'm really sorry I upset you, and on your birthday too. That wasn't my intention.

Honeyapple, Glad you are feeling positive!! That is what I like to see!! Keep it up

Rahrah, My booklet says that temps of between 35.6 and 36.7 prior to OV are normal. So worry not. Agreed, I am staying on this thread until I am pregnant. Have a great holiday!!

BBWBabelisa, how you doing?? nosed at your profile, you like Hotel babylon too?? There's a new series on soon I think!

Iwillbe, Had a nosy at your FF chart, it's fancier than I thought. I didn't realise you could put all that detail on. cool.

Greedy, so pleased that your scan went well. Sorry you have to wait 2 weeks for the next one. They will fly by!!!

MrsMcJnr, me, getting heated about issues?? Never How are you feeling??

Minxi, sounds like you have had your hands full. Keeping busy certainly takes your mind off period time!!! Talk soon.

Right, well I started this thread an hour ago, so better just press post....

Yep, going to Wales tomorrow.. I don't know why I have had my sudden temp dip, but it has gone rather nippy outside as well... Perhaps I mirror the outdoors and have some supernatural powers...who knows? I didn't ask the consultant when I would have my results... I'm sick of phoning them! I am presuming they will contact me if they find anything...but knowing me I will call them sooner rather than later, just to double check and piss them off some more!

Fettle, every thing looks very positive in this pregnancy... I know it is hard to be positive, but Thursday will help you as you will be able to see your little ones heart beat.

minxi - enjoy your nephew

mum03 - only just started charting myself so don't know why your O keeps moving...sounds very confusing..Sorry can't be of any help

londonlottie- yep its my first month of charting, so thanks for the reassurance. Sorry that your feeling low, it really isn't surprising...hang in there..we are all here for you..

honeyapple - I reckon sometimes it's not best to have loads of sex... as the sperm is a bit worn out..LOL We did not catch once when we had sex session after sex session... we caught the one month we only did it twice! Bonkers! So my plan is that if i can pinpoint my Ovulation, I want to try and hold out until I'm as near to that point..Instead of having sex solid for about a week, which is what we are back to doing again.

Greedy - hope all is well in your camp.

BBW, Ready, iwill - probably speak to you guys later..hope you are all OK today..

PS - Love all you guys on this thread... I think we should make a pledge that we don't leave until everyone of us is pregnant... have a good feeling it will happen for all of us very soon

Fettle - Hi thanks I am feeling a bit more positive today, {{{{hugs}}}}, I know it is so difficult to remain positive while you are waiting. But try to remember that morning sickness comes and goes in most people, so don't let that worry you, and instead think about that ultra positive test you did yesterday. Waiting is so difficult, i really hope that when you get the scan that you get to see a heartbeat too.

Lottie - hope you feel better soon.

fettle · 06/02/2007 10:26

Morning All

Glad to hear you sounding you more positive, Mum03. Annoying about your software though. I?ve always done it manually myself as I?m sure sometimes the software thinks a bit too logically and our bodies are more laws unto their own!!

Rah, you are chilly aren?t you? When do you get your hypothyroidism results? But Lottie is right, MrsMc was always pretty cold, but it hasn?t stopped her getting a BFP. When are you off to Wales? Is it this week?

Lottie, sorry to hear you are not very happy at the moment ? completely understandable I would say. You?ve got a lot more going on in your life than most people beyond TTC ? take care of yourself.

BBW ? any sign of your new freezer yet, or are you still waiting? In this weather though, who needs a freezer in forces accommodation, just leave things on the windowsill!! (or is your house better insulated that mine!! ? we have no radioators in the loos, freezing!!! Makes you think twice about whether you actually need to do a wee first thing before you are dressed!!)

Ready, how you doing, chuck? Glad to hear you are not a fully paid up member of the hut ? all credit to those who are, but I agree with you, they are way too scary for my liking!! But I feel it is a very good thread to have, as this TTC can be a horrible lonely, sad place, unless you have a safe place to vent your feelings where you are not going to hurt anyone else?s feelings. Its tough staying positive on the outside otherwise.

Minzi, you ok today? Hope you?re feeling as positive as you can do about this coming cycle!

Iwillbe ? welcome to thread ? have I said that already, can?t remember? Hope you find it as supportive as I have.

I?ve got a scan at the EPU on Thursday morning ? wouldn?t see me earlier as I?m still only just 6 weeks. Was feeling very sick, until I told the GP I?m feeling really sick and now I feel fine, but no point worrying until Thursday now. I?ve survived 2 mcs, I?m sure I can survive another one.

Take care all
x

Well I know I am in the 2ww, but where I have no idea, today the fertility friend program bumped my o-day back by two days. So instead of being 5dpo I am supposedly 3 dpo, I do not enjoy the slow rise charts that keep altering my o-date. Last month my o-date got moved 3 times so a difference of a whole week. Looks like it has started again.

Ready - tbc CD4 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - tbc CD4 (9th cycle ttc)

Honeyapple - great that you are slowly getting warmer and into the 2ww

rah - left the hut early and went to bed with hot chocolate, decided that might be a better idea. You are getting far too cold - what is going on? Are you standing outside inthe freezing air before temping each morning!!!!

Greedy - so you thought you had stopped the 2ww, now you have another as you wait for the next scan, it was great to hear that all was as it should be, even if they could not find a cause for the bleeding.

Fettle - do you go to the epu today?
