Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

It's not my MIL its my bloody mother and father! My brothers wife had a baby...

It's typical of them...they feel I need to accept the situation...I'm not sure that baby
therapy is the route though! I have told them plain and simple that they are tipping me over the edge.. Hope they get the message.

greedyforbabies · 26/01/2007 19:55

i dont WANT to leave these ttc threads! i like the fact that everyone here seems a bit obssessive and a bit crazy! i can feel lots more good vibes coming for BFPs in feb. also, i will be selling my dhs rambo sperm on ebay if anyone is interested! (i have to stop saying that or he will get a big head!)
i dont think relaxing was the key to me concieving cos i was VERY stressed when DH went away and i hadn't ov'd. mind you, i guess when i did i wasn't stressed, just pissed off cos i thought it was too late.

rahrah - i hope you have a better weekend. it sounds really tough what you are going through. think about YOURSELF and what is best for YOU and if you want to shut yourself away and not see or talk to anyone then do. just do whatever feels best for you and hopefully you will feel more able to deal with things soon.
xxxx

fettle · 26/01/2007 19:15

Rahrah - I'm sorry too that you've had a tough day. Pretty unthoughtful of your MIL.

{{{{{HUGS}}}} I hope you have a better weekend.

Ready don't give up hope, sweetheart - I hate hearing you down. A temp rise is a good sign as are odd pains in your stomach area - try and stay positive. {{{HUGS}}}

Take care everyone else too - I'm not quite ready to leave the TTC threads yet, so I'll keep popping in to see how you are, if that's ok?

rahrah - {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} for you, sorry you have had a hard day.

mum03 · 26/01/2007 18:37

BTW greedy, on my first pg, I too dtd on the friday and o'd on the thur/friday. I was so not expecting to be pg, I tested on the 14dpo just for the sake of it and got the expected -ve test, I was so sure that af was about to arrive that I did not test again for another 3 days. Then when I woke at 5am to a dream about being pg, tested and almost collapsed in shock when it turned positive, I was shaking for hours afterwards. It seems that having time apart from dh's just prior to o is the way to get pg! Or perhaps it is being so relaxed due to thinking it is impossible! So perhaps it is time for Rahrah, honeyapple and I to get away from our dh's rather than jumping on them!!!

rahrah1 · 26/01/2007 18:32

I tell you what Ready...it better do... I've had about as much as I can take.

Had a truly awful day today, SIL had her baby yesterday and my mum and dad seem determined to rub my nose in it... They sent me and email, with pictures on telling me about her. It's very difficult when you have just lost your baby to want to know much about anyone else's, especially somebody close. My dad feels i need to deal with it and look to the future... I don't think I'm going to stand a chance getting pregnant when I'm so stressed about everything...

mum03 · 26/01/2007 18:28

Woohah - congrats to you too greedy on your BFP's, What a day, it is exciting enough to get one bfp, but three in a day is exhausting. Huge congratulations to all the newly pregnant mummies.

Ready · 26/01/2007 17:43

It's our turn next Rah!!!!!!

rahrah1 · 26/01/2007 17:40

Hiya, Congrats Fettle- definitely seems very positive for you! I hope you can try to enjoy being pregnant, and not get too woried about it all.
My temps have been the same all week, which is hopefully a good sign- I might notice if/when they go up... I have been very good at taking them at the same time every am- but I'm going to be staying at a friends on sat night- have to surreptiously take my thermometer with me...
Going to start proper BDing now- every other day. I feel like you rahrah- if i dont get PG this month i will really be f*ed off!

CONGRATS again long cycle bud!

Ready · 26/01/2007 12:43

Right, well, I don't know about the rest of you but I do not want to see Rah throwing a paddy!! Soooo... why don't we all club together all the baby dust we can find and let her take it to Wales

In all seriousness Rah, I really hope this month is your month. If anyone deserves a BFP it's you honey!!! Fingers crossed and thinking of you!!

I still have my stitch like pain near my bellybutton and it's annoying me!! Catches me off guard, and takes my breath away! Painful. I have no idea what it is. Best not to worry though.

rahrah1 · 26/01/2007 11:51

I know, its such a pain to start again. Why has no one invented a guaranteed way to get pregnant... They have invented all these crazy things but not that!
One tablet, a shag and bobs you uncle...pregnant.. that would be great!

I have the following to assist me this month:

  • Fertility book - to look at CM, cervix positioning and charting

  • Ovulation sticks

  • Pre-seed

  • Away in Wales for some sea air on prime days..

If it does not happen I'm going to throw a complete paddy!
