Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

ammylovesbabies · 28/01/2007 22:18

PMSL!!!!!

Greedy, you do make me laugh xxx

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 22:17

i will give him a big cuddle in a minute when i go to bed! (knowing him, he will think i am coming on to him, and start getting the baby oil out!)

OMG! can you imagine how pissed off i would be!!!?????

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 22:15

first time i told my mum i was pg (4 yrs ago) she said " oh no! do you want a baby?!"
it wasn't like i was 14 or anything!........we had been married a year and i was 29! why wouldn't i want one!?
they are hopeless sometimes aren't they!

rahrah1 · 28/01/2007 22:13

Men really do deal with things in different ways. They can hold it together a lot better, but on the inside it really hurts.. I also think it really hurts them to see their partners/wifes so upset and not be able to do anything... When you feel up to it give him a big cuddle..

rahrah1 · 28/01/2007 22:11

What is it about parents, my parents have been so bloody insensitive recently.. I know they care like yours, but it doesn't make it any easier... !

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 22:11

just snapped at dh and told him i got more support from you lot on here and he has stomped off to bed! guess i shouldn't take it out on him, he is probably upset too, although he didn't believe my bfps in the first place anyway!

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 22:09

i was staying at my mum and dads house last night, minus dh and kids, so when i had my bleeding this mornig i told them what was happening. dont know why really, they do try......but they are hopeless! my dad said "what will be will be!" and my mum asked if we wanted another baby? and then went on to tell me that 3 is a nightmare and we shouldn't have 3 anyway! i know that was her way of trying to console me, but i wasn't too impressed.

Hi Greed, I messaged you on the Hut thread... Please Please don't feel bad about being excited.
If you had bleeding in your two previous pregnancies, maybe it's just a bit heavier than before, Some people have bleeding and periods all the way through. Why is pregnancy so bloody difficult! It's times like this I wish I was a man...

fettle · 28/01/2007 21:45

Also, don't feel stupid thinking it wouldn't happen to you - I felt that with both my mc.

Not stupid question at all. I started brown spotting about 19DPO, then on the evening of 21DPO I had bright red blood on the paper when I went for a wee. There was some blood that evening, but none over night and until late afternoon of the next day. It was strange pinky, red blood. On the Friday eve (23DPO), it suddenly turned very red and heavy, but (TMI alert) still not enough to have to change pads throughout night. This red bleeding with some small clots continued for 3-4 days, but never very heavy, that I had to change my pads very often and there was no pain at all. I then got back from holiday the following Thursday, which would have been 29DPO, I did another pg test and it was a BFN. Annoyingly, my thermometer had broken while flying out on holiday, so I couldn't accurately check my temp, but I think it dropped the day after the red bleeding started.

It was strange, I would have expected more bleeding, but the GP said that some people don't bleed excessively as it was a very early pg loss.

Oh darling, I do hope it is nothing for you, but clots don't sound very hopeful - are you still bleeding?

Please see doctor tomorrow, if they can send you for a scan it will reassure things for you one way or another, as it is the unknowing that's been so hard with both my miscarriages.

Sending you some virtual {{{{HUGS}}}. Hope DH is being good?

take care

i was hoping you would respond to me fettle - thanks. you should never have said you had tears in your eyes though.......you have set me off again! and i have been fighting off the tears since lunchtime.
funny you should say about your cycle getting back to normal quickly cos thats what i was thinking earlier to perk myself up.
i know its horrible but can i ask details of your last mc please. how many dpo were you and how do you know it you have definately had a mc or not. sounds like a stupid qu doesn't it

fettle · 28/01/2007 21:06

Greedy, my darling!! I so hope it is nothing. How utterly awful for you? Go see your GP, you need to sort things out. It may be bleeding like you've had in other pgs, but you have to talk to doctor regardless.

If it is the worst, remember that my cycle came back really quickly after my mc at Christmas.

Don't feel bad about being excited on Friday - we were all over the moon for you as well.

I've tears in my eyes, at the mo. Oh, I hope it's ok - put your feet up and take care of yourself, sweetheart.

Speak tomorrow.

happy birthday by the way fettle, i really hope your spotting doesn't develop into anything else.

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 20:51

really dont know what to think. i had a couple of minor cramps this morning, some bright red blood and then some horrible clotted blood. obviously cried a lot, then did another pg test, then realised that was stupid anyway cos i would still have the hormones in my body anyway. anyway........ive had a bit more bleeding today but not much, so i dont know what to think. my boobs were sore yesterday and they aren't as sore today. i have had bleeding early in both of my previous pgs, but never bright red or clotted.
dont know if to go to gp, what could they do anyway so early? didnt take my temp this morning either.

a totally crap day and i feel really embarassed that i came on here on friday shouting my mouth of about my BFP which looks like it will soon be a bfn. never really thought this would happen to me, how stupid am i.

rahrah1 · 28/01/2007 16:57

Just filling out my chart on Fertility friend and it keeps jumping a day. So I out my first day in as when my AF arrived, but it puts my 1st day of my new cycle at day 2 of AF.. is this correct?

Thanks

Excellent news Fettle... So pleased the spotting has stopped.

Honeyapple - TBC CD9 (6th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.7 CD29 /11DPO (3rd cycle ttc)
Mum03 - 36.4 CD8 (2nd cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.2 CD7 (3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - 36.56 CD23 / 8 DPO (5th cycle ttc)

Ye Pg ones -
Fettle - 20dpo
greedy - 17dpo temp tbc if you want to!!!

Questions: I have just started taking my temp and in the first 7 days in new cycle... Does your temp normally fluctuate. Mine has gone really low.. and has bounced between 36.1 and 36.3...and my hand are cold!

fettle · 28/01/2007 14:21

Juat checking in so see how you all are today - sorry to hear that some of you think that AF is on the way. can only say that I was convinced I had AF pains for a week before my BFP, so you never know until .... as they say.

Hadn't noticed the alphabetical orderness to this thread! Spooky!

My temp was still up this morning and so far no more spotting, so hopefully everything is ok.

Thanks for letting me still post on here, your support is invaluable in these first few weeks.

Lottie - haven't used opk's but will this month...think I have just had a sign of af now so only a matter of time, based my ov on temps going high then dipping for two days alot on cd 14/15/16 but day 20 also went low after a higher dip - so v confused, only first month of charting so will check what happens next month!
