Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Hi All

No sign of Greedy - I hope she is ok. Big hugs, I do so hope everything is ok. But remember how quickly my cycle came back after my mc last cycle.

ps it was me who told you you can get the temp rise 36 hours after ovulation - now Honeyapple thinks you're really clever!!! Passing off my knowledge as your own, I don't know!!!. Only joking!

Anyway, work have finally cottened on and stopped me being able to access MN at work - probably a good thing and if i'd been caught I would have lost my job. Anyway, feel like I've missed a whole lot.

Minxi - your temp is still very high. I agree with Rahrah, you may have tested too early and a tiny spot doesn't necessarily mean AF yet. But a glass of wine or two is not going to harm anything at this stage.

Ready - hang in there, your temp is still high for you, isn't it?

Mum03 & Rahrah, hope you are preparing for some good o-time!!

Well, I wish I'd listened to you all and stopped taking my temp as for the last 2 days my temp has been on a 0.1 deg/day decline, so pretty worried this pg is going the same way as the last one. No major spotting or anything yet - just an excess of CM, which is slightly coloured (tmi). Think I'll ring the EPU on Monday and see if they'll see me next week, as I can legitimately call them if I've had some spotting can't I?

Anyway, I'll pop back later, if anyone is around?

x

Spoke to Dh who said wait till the end of the week!! called me silly and said he missed me which nearly started me off again

Going to have to have a supporting glass of wine tonight now to make me feel a little bit better which DH said wont hurt

Hi minxi {{{{hugs}}}}

To be honest I was going to say something earlier, as you are only 10dpo, so I know its hard not to test, but it is really early to be testing. They say the phase should be 10-16days... So I presuming on some women that if they test too early that the hormones will not be located at that stage. I know when I was pregnant with Bertie I had a pregnancy test around that time by the hospital and nothing showed up (I was booked in for a lap and dye) I only got a positive test well after 5 weeks.
I wish I could take my own advise! I was that convinced last month I was pregnant I think I tested even earlier...... I know it's just not fair...why can't it just happen! Hopefully there still is a chance for this month...your temps look good as well (don't want to give you false hope either though, as I know how tough it is).... Sorry!! XX

minxi · 31/01/2007 16:20

Okay now I've been really stupid - went to town today and bought a 2 pack of clearblue digital well tested a while ago and the stupid thing stayed blank - never worked!!! So I took it apart and there was a line but only one but it never came up with anything, so now I don't think I can be.

Then I went to the loo later and there was a small circle smaller than the acronym faces of light brown - so now I am devestated just want to crawl under a stone and not bother with this ttc lark!! I can't cope with the disappointment

Sorry to sound so miserable but I really wanted it to be this month and I know nothing has actually happened yet and - well everything has just gone wrong and DH not back until friday v late!

rahrah1 · 31/01/2007 16:16

I wonder if Greedy has got her call yet.. ?? I so hope its good news...

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 14:23

Wrap up warm for the park then.
I'll be looking for your news later.

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 14:20

just about to go and wake dd up, then get ds from nursery, then its the park and chaos so wont get a chance to dwell!
i will be back on this evening no doubt!!!

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 14:10

It must be horrid waiting. I cant suggest anything useful to keep your mind off it. Are you at home?

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 14:04

yep at 4pm! they told me 2pm the other day, then when i rang they said phone back at 3, and when i rang at 3 they said phone bacj at 4! hope they dont mess me around again today! i just want to KNOW!

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 13:58

Yup! Perfect sense, cheers.
Do you have to phone for the blood results?

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 13:55

i think it normally says 12-24 hours after ov your temp will rise. but i guess if you ov in the evening (eg.wed eve) your temp probably wouldnt have gone up by the next morning (thur am), so you wouldnt detect the temp increase until fri am. i think that must be what happened with me! did that make sense?

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 13:50

That is impressive.
Do temp rises often not happen till so late after OV? (I'm a newie to temping malarky)
I thought it was pretty soon after OV...like 12 hrs...? Confused now.

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 13:47

last time we had sex was sat eve about midnight, and my temp rose on the friday after. so i guess in theory i must have ov'd the whole 36hrs before my temp rose, so that would be wed evening. so it could be 4 days or 5 days, but certainly no less than 4 days! and we had had sex every day for a while beforehand, so i would have thought his supplies would have been low!

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 13:42

How long were they hanging around in there for? Was it longer than 5 days?

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 13:30

thank you! he does have rambo sperm doesn't he! thats one good thing isn't it!? and i also heard somewhere that your cycle often settles down after a mc, so maybe i will have a shorter cycle next time too! that would be nice.......
guess this pg didnt really stand a chance with my old egg that didnt pop out till cd34, and my dhs sperm must have been on their last legs (?!) by the time they met my egg cos they had been hanging around up there for so long!
oh well, i will let you know later what the verdict is!

Ready · 31/01/2007 13:24

Fingers crossed Greedy!!!! x

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 13:21

Ok Greedy, TBH it doesnt sound great- that amount of bleeding. I know you had spotting before with PG, and so did I with DD, but it wasnt like how you are describing it to be now. I really hope that the blood test result is positive, but it would be wrong to get your hopes up too much. Very early MC are your body's way of making sure you have a healthy PG next time. Lots of love.xx

(Dont forget your DH has rambo sperm )

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 13:17

sorry, my FIRST, not fist!

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 13:16

hi all!
my fist was in 2003 as well mum03.........but i think we have had that coversation before havent we? i like hard work and chaos and want even more! i was reading the ttc no.6 thread yesterday feeling very jealous!!!
minxi - i have a VERY good feeling about you and your high temps! and ready - dont give up hope yet!
i feel a bit like i am in the 2ww again and its so frustrating. the most annoying thing is, i wasn't even expecting to get pg this month and wouldnt have been at all upset really if af had turned up. but after my multiple bfps i now REALLY want to hang on to it! had my bld taken this morning and i have to ring back at 4pm to get results. it was 418 on mon so needs to be at least 600 today. not sure quite how i feel, i have had more bleeding but no more clots so far today (probably nothing left to come out), i know i shouldn't get my hopes up, but i just cant help it. someone talk some sense into me please

Ready · 31/01/2007 11:27

Honeyapple - 36.2 CD12 (6th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.6 CD4 (4th cycle ttc)
Minxi - 36.96 cd30 / 10dpo (7th cycle ttc)
Mum03 - 36.6 cd11 (2nd cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.3 CD10 (3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - 36.56 cd26/11dpo (5th cycle ttc)
greedy - TBC

Very pleased with the 2nd decimal place today CD26 and 11 dpo, AF due on Saturday, she will arrive I'm afraid. So no peeing on sticks for me on my birthday. Which is a shame, but I am feeling eerily calm about it.

Greedy, thinking of you chick. All day. (hug)

Minxi - CD30 and still HOT HOT HOT. It's VERY promising!!! Fingers and toes crossed!! Good luck testing.

Honeyapple - my book says that a rise (or 3 consecuitve temps) of .1 degree c, can signify OV has occurred 12-36 hours prior to the rise. HTH.

Mum03 - Patiently waiting to see your temp rise, hope you and DH are enjoying yourselves!! Oh, and the ClearBlueFairy is overworked and underpaid. Some clearbluedevil started encouraging people to test... why I oughta

rahrah1 · 31/01/2007 10:49

Blimey if your first was in 2003... There will not be a big age difference between any of them.....Do you like hard work and no sleep for years?

rahrah1 · 31/01/2007 10:47
