hello! have been ttc no.3 since last april now. ds took about 3 or 4 cycles to concieve and dd 1 cycle, so i am finding this hard to get my head round!

the main reason for starting this thread, if anyone is interested, is that sometimes i feel really bad chatting on the other threads about age gap concerns, how i will cope with another one etc....when lots of other 'posters' are ttc no.1.

it makes me feel a bit guilty going on about no.3 when some other MNers have such tragic stories.

anyway, i know there are a few of you out there also ttc no.3. Do you all have big houses and cars?

Hi, I'm still here and I have news - NOT a BFP that would have been extremely unlikely until today - yes I have had my mirena coil removed and we are officially starting to go for number 3 , feeling a bit......I don't know what actually!!!

siennammm · 06/05/2007 21:00

hi everyone, this has been a quiet thread since i have been away! so now on cd12 and still no sign of OV although i have a very faint line this evening so it could be the start - could the timing be about right? Only bd'd twice this month so far so hopefully we can get on with it in a few days. Had a 33 day cycle last month so does that mean OV will start in the middle of my cycle - around 16ish - even though i usually have 28 day cycles. God, what a nightmare to get your head around! LOL x

siennammm · 04/05/2007 20:14

hi everyone, i am on cd10 and keep using the OV sticks but still says I havent OVd yet? Not sure when I am meant to as had CD33 cycle last month and m/c the month before that and usually 28 days - got the OV sticks from e-bay 100 for 20 quid so they might be pretty useless (Fertility Plan) and dont want to miss our bd'ing time? Anyone any ideas when it could be or should we just bd every other day!! Ha ha. How is everyone else on here - everyone feeling positive about their BFPs? X

karma · 04/05/2007 19:59

Hi all,
Just wanted to get this thread up and running again as all seems to have gone quiet (although I know a few are posting on the TTC May thread). And I think there have been some BFPs!! Please confirm
Any news from anyone? I am on CD 16, but not really sure when or if I've ov as cycle still seems a bit unsettled. Really hope it happens this month but trying not to raise hopes.
Hope everyone's ok.

siennammm · 26/04/2007 14:31

oh, forgot to say that dd is 8 months, not 7 months to conceive ha ha!

karma · 26/04/2007 13:43

Hi Siennammm and sweetkitty,
Welcome to the group! I hope that it all works out for you TTC no.3, and that we get some more BFPs soon.

siennammm · 25/04/2007 14:00

Hi, just spotted this thread too and wanted to add myself and say hi!!!

me: 38, 39 next month
dh: 37 this August
DS1: 5 next month, conceived without trying!!
DD2: took 7 months to conceive

CD1 today after m/c last month so really trying to get a BFP for May - was an only child and thought I would be happy with 2, especially one of each but had such a fantastic birth with the second that want another now - decided to do it straight away because of my age!! x

According to an online due date calculator the EDD is 24th Dec!
Not going to join the ante natal thread just yet. Bit too soon. I'll just be lurking in the background here for a while if you don't mind. Good luck to the rest of you. x

greedygreedyguzzler · 24/04/2007 13:00

Curlygirly · 23/04/2007 21:30

Curlygirly · 23/04/2007 10:59

Finally tested this morning and it's a BFP

Curlygirly · 21/04/2007 15:54

Still no sign of AF and now a week late. Tempted to nip to Tesco later and buy a tester!

karma · 21/04/2007 09:38

Any news curlygirly? Have you tested again?

beluga · 20/04/2007 13:56

still hoping for a miracle, but considering fostering. Godd luck to everyone this month!

mum03 · 20/04/2007 13:33

Khama -

Curlygirl - 2ww is the two week wait, between ovulation and af (period arriving) or in our cases hopefully a bfp (big fat positive) for pregnancy

Curlygirly · 19/04/2007 21:34

panchagarmendia- glad to hear I'm not the only one who isn't too clued up about cycles and dates. Miracle I managed to conceive my ds's at all!

mum03- probably really obvious but what does ww2 mean?

karma- shame about af. I'm same age as you so understand what you mean about reduced fertility and risks etc. I often think the same.
