hello! have been ttc no.3 since last april now. ds took about 3 or 4 cycles to concieve and dd 1 cycle, so i am finding this hard to get my head round!

the main reason for starting this thread, if anyone is interested, is that sometimes i feel really bad chatting on the other threads about age gap concerns, how i will cope with another one etc....when lots of other 'posters' are ttc no.1.

it makes me feel a bit guilty going on about no.3 when some other MNers have such tragic stories.

anyway, i know there are a few of you out there also ttc no.3. Do you all have big houses and cars?

im so excited at the thought of having another child i'm cd31 today, about 10 days to go....

siennammm · 03/07/2007 10:39

I said I would never do this again but hey, you forget dont you!! i have the flu at the minute so feeling like pants but waiting for the hyperemesis - every morning I am waking up, waiting for it, but just hoping I might be the 25% that doesnt get it this time???? cross your fingers for me that it doesnt get me - I dont know how i will cope otherwise but I guess I just will..... hope you are well scorpio1?? X

XXX

Mumfun · 02/07/2007 16:48

Hi

I have been watching you all (sorry) as only really halfheartedly trying for DC3.

I already have DS 3.5 and DD 1.5.

I am still around - think it may take me a while if ever! Just got AF and a bit fed up as I was sure I was pg. But there you go - your body can play tricks with you. I just dont want to go obsessed with it as I think Ill have no chance then of BFP.

Hope to hear how you all are!

minxi · 27/06/2007 11:29

I'm still ttc Number 3 for the last 2.5 years!!...have been on the other threads but get fed up keep writing - want my BFP!! Am on 4th cycle of clomid so hoping that it works otherwise have to go for other tests etc and evryone kind of looks at you as if you are mad because I have 2 already....

Are you feeling hopefup Scorpio ?

scorpio1 · 27/06/2007 09:25

update: siennammm got her BFP!

im cd25 today, feeling poo. sore boobies, really sore!

anyone else ttc dc3 still around??!

sweetkitty · 26/06/2007 12:30

Well I ignored my own advice and bought a test I know I know and it was BFN BUT after about 5 minutes a very faint pink line did appear and after 10 mins there was definately a very faint pink line so now I am really confused. Is it just because it an evaporation line and theres always a very faint line if you look for it OR is it just because I am only CD24 or even CD22 (last months period was really light for 2 days before I needed to use tampons)???

Must take my own advice go away don't think about it until Saturday!!!

scorpio1 · 26/06/2007 09:19

fingers crossed! i feel pg, so much so, that if im not, i'll eat my hat! you?

sweetkitty · 26/06/2007 09:03

scorpio - you and I are truly cycle buddies going for number 3 as well, here's hoping we are both due the same day in March eh?

scorpio1 · 26/06/2007 08:33

sweetkitty · 25/06/2007 23:18

mum03 · 25/06/2007 19:46

Just wanted to say I got my bfp and to wish everyone else here waiting for #3 that they get their wish soon.

siennammm · 16/05/2007 13:14

hi spugs, just wanted to say how sorry about your loss hun and sending you loads of babydust. X

karma · 16/05/2007 12:46

Hi spugs, welcome and I'm so sorry to hear your news. I misc. in Feb and have been trying since. Had no problems previously so hope it happens soon (but misc. do seem to mess up your cycle a bit IME).
Hope it happens for you soon too. Take care.

spugs · 15/05/2007 19:43

Hiya, im 26 and have a 6yr old and 1 yr old daughter. I fell pregnant by accident the first time, took 4 months the 2nd time and ive just miscarried with a third which was in one night. the baby was not planned but weve decided as soon as the bleeding stops we ll try straight away. now of course im worried ill m/c again or it ll take forever to get pregnant, but im being fairly optomistic as there is no reason why i should be so unlucky again.

karma · 13/05/2007 21:32

Sounds like there shouldn't be a problem then scorpio, and you should get your BFP soon. Impatience is a dreadful thing when you're in this game isn't it, I'm the same!

scorpio1 · 13/05/2007 12:36

no,no problems, apart from impatience! ds1 i dont really know, ds2 4 months, dc3 been ttc for 12 weeks so its not actually long at all! i have had a coil in,it appears to be taking time for the hormone to leave my womb-the first 6 weeks of the 12 mentioned above were on off bleeding, horrid.this cycle is the first one that resembles naything normal for me.

karma · 13/05/2007 12:11

Hi Scorpio,
Did you have problems conceiving before?
I know it's hard, feeling a bit low here too, have convinced myself that it hasn't happened this month, probably to ease the disappointment when af arrives later this week. Not really sure when I'm due as cycle has been different since misc. If af hasn't turned up by Fri will test that morning as I'm away Fri night and Sat (won't be able to hold out to Sun!).

scorpio1 · 12/05/2007 18:07

i'm still trying my hardest! af due on thursday-ish.not hopeful even though we bd everyday!!dont think its ever gonna happen

siennammm · 12/05/2007 16:30

hi guys, just to let you know that I have still been using the OV sticks and finally got my two lines yesterday so have been bd'ing with dh yesterday and will do tonight as well - I never thought i would get the lines, just so pleased that they actually work, and yeah, its pretty much in the middle of my cycle. Hope everyone else is enjoying the weekend. X

mum03 · 09/05/2007 10:29

Sienna - forgot to say that LP can be anywhere between 11 and 15 days, but within an individual it only varies by about a day at most ususally. My lp is 11 days but occassionally it has been 12 days.

mum03 · 09/05/2007 10:26

Siennamum- sorry i missed your previous post. I have never used ov sticks so don't know about them. But in answer to your ov question, the timing of ovulation can change from month to month, but the time between ov and af (luteal phase) stays the same each month. So for example if you have a 28 day cycle normally and you ov on day 14 that would mean a 14 day luteal phase, then next month you have a 32 day cycle you would have ov'd on day 18 (32-14). I am not sure if this makes it any clearer??? Have you got a positive opk result yet??

karma · 08/05/2007 17:45

Hi Siennammmm,
Don't know the answer to your question but hopefully someone else does, just didn't want you to think you were being ignored.
Hi McDreamy and welcome and good luck! Hope we get some BFPs soon, it's all gone very quiet on this thread lately.

mum03 · 08/05/2007 14:23

McDreamy - first step taken to #3 for you, I can empathise with the uncertain of how you feel bit, I keep trying to make up my mind if I am doing the right thing listening to my broodiness. Hope that things happen quickly for you.
