Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

Is a lot of CM a good sign of pregnancy?

2 pairs of pants down.

Just to add its white, creamy and odourless - so it's no infection etc

Never happened to me before. Keeps feeling like my period has started but it hasn't... its just all white

Eva30 · 14/07/2016 14:39

Oops forgot to attach chart

July Bus
Eva30 · 14/07/2016 14:39

bertie your chart is really steady. Here's mine, it's so erratic, I take it with a pinch of salt. I'm pretty sure I'm out for this month but holding on to that 'not out til AF shows' thought. As you can see I'm a serial tester so I would have already tested by now Blush

BertieBotts · 14/07/2016 13:44

Aaah I'm so tempted to test!

Pros - If I'm pregnant at least I'll know?!

  • Will have time to buy another test tomorrow or Saturday if it's a crap positive like last time - if I wait until Sunday, no shops til Monday.
  • I have a couple in the house (both crap ones) so I wouldn't be using my last one.
  • Could do some kind of creative/fun way of telling DH (in reality, probably won't)

Cons - DH might feel left out (we've tested together before)

  • Likely to be inconclusive meaning I'll be more frustrated/obsessed than anything
  • It's not the end of the day yet and I could still start this evening
  • Should probably try to concentrate on driving and other stuff, and this would seriously distract me, whereas waiting for AF doesn't as much.
LittleSparkes · 14/07/2016 13:38

Just an update my end. I'm CMing everywhere - had to go out and by new knickers at lunch Blush
also can't seem to find my cervix

LittleSparkes · 14/07/2016 13:36

that looks promising bertie

I gave up charting - i became obsessive - not healthy. Got me really upset

BertieBotts · 14/07/2016 13:20

Here's my chart. Inconclusive but I am past what should be the end of my luteal phase.

LittleSparkes · 14/07/2016 12:18

LittleSparkes · 13/07/2016 19:18

Hey Katie
Exactly the same here. CD31 and nothing. No sign of AF. BFN this morning
Last hour I've been having some pinching sensations though Confused
Fingers crossed for you.
Trying to wait till Saturday till I test again

Katie0907 · 13/07/2016 19:12

Hi. I'm still (im)patiently waiting for either af or bfn. CD34 and no signs of anything... I've been and bought more pee sticks today so will try again in the morning. I haven't tracked ovulation so have no idea if/when it happened.

haveacupoftea · 13/07/2016 14:50

Thanks for welcomes...Sorry for BFN mrsg

BertieBotts · 13/07/2016 14:26

Lol, I read too much :)

LittleSparkes · 13/07/2016 14:20

Wow bertie that gives me huge amounts of hope and smiles!

I keep running to the loo as I feel like my period keeps starting but is just CM.
So frustrating.
At least its adding steps to my fitbit thought Grin

Eva30 · 13/07/2016 14:11

Thanks v much Bertie - you are a lot more clued up on this than I am!

BertieBotts · 13/07/2016 13:53

11dpo is very early to test, Eve, I got a BFN at 11dpo before and then tested pregnant later.

In fact the same thing happened with DS except I can't remember what the gap was between the BFN and BFP as we weren't "trying" as such.

BertieBotts · 13/07/2016 13:50

You're considered pregnant if your HCG is 5 or above, not 25. They just use 25 because the threshold isn't perfectly exact with these tests, so it's far enough away from 5 you don't get false positives.

Also, MrsG, it's not necessarily the case you'd have a positive at 16dpo. It depends what your starting HCG level is. It's common to have some HCG in your system about up to 5 mIU. Then it doubles over 48 or 72 hours. If you have a naturally low non-pregnant HCG level, say 2 at implantation, implantation happens on average, say 9dpo (if you have any idea when implantation was you can narrow this down) and your HCG is doubling in 72 hours, then the earliest you'd get a positive on a standard (25 mIU) test would be around 20dpo and that would be faint, you'd need to wait longer for it to be clear. (You can add/remove days if you know the probable implantation date)

If you're more lucky and you start at 6 with your HCG doubling every 48 hours, keep implantation at 9dpo for comparison,
you might actually be lucky enough to get a faint positive on a sensitive test at 11dpo but more likely you'd have to wait until 16/17dpo for one on a standard test.

Your luteal phase generally doesn't change length. So if you know 100% when you ovulated you can predict when your period will be, if it's more than a day or two late, it's highly probable that you're pregnant. If you don't know when you ovulated for sure, then this is a bit more tricky because of course late ovulation can result in a late period with no other cause.

Good luck everyone!

Barefootcontessa84 · 13/07/2016 13:23

Feeling very crampy today - 12dpo - holding out to test until Friday, but these cramps feel like AF... littlesparkes fingers crossed for you!! I really hope it works out for you, but I had a really frustrating time last month with lots of BFNs - AF finally showed on CD37 (usually 28-30 day cycle). Have you been on holiday/travelled etc that might be delaying things?

SoozC · 13/07/2016 13:02

I think I'm out this month as had pink spotting today, af due around Saturday. Off to book a doc appointment. Desperately trying not to let it get me down, as it makes DP sad too and then we're a sad little household :(

Sorry to ignore everyone else's situations - normal service will resume once af is fully underway.

Eva30 · 13/07/2016 12:46

I have everything crossed for both of us littlesparkes. Are you having any cramps?
God I hate waiting. For BFP, for AF, for FW etc etc!

LittleSparkes · 13/07/2016 12:30

EVA i'm CD 31 of a 28 Day cycle - 16 DPO. And I'm still showing negative. I truely think I will get a positive soon as I am never this late
FX

Eva30 · 13/07/2016 12:27

Sorry for AF mrsG
The strangest thing is happening. I was convinced I was out for this month (bfn yesterday 11dpo) but today I have got cramps but it's too early for PMS for me. AF isn't due until Sunday and I don't usually get them til the day before. Part of me has a glimmer of hope and part of me thinks AF is coming early. This is my first time TTC so have nothing to compare to, has anyone had BFN early on and gone on to have BFP?
