July Bus

Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

Based on AF today, my next test date will be around 17th of July (I have really long cycles which is just awesome when TTC... Hmm haha!)

Emily, you'll pick it up before long! I was in the same situation a few months ago - 34 and clueless! - but you learn all the lingo and find new things to try pretty quickly! :)

Hi, can I join you all? I'm expecting AF tomorrow or the next day. Thought June was my month, but roll on July... We've been trying a while and a couple of MC, but wanting to keep it lighthearted and not too much pressure for the next few months.
Stats: 37, TTC#2, Cycle too-many-to-count, and CD 27, soon to be CD1...

Last cycle we DTD the day before a strong OPK and the day afterwards. My DH was injured at the time so DTD actually on high OPK day has to be abandoned mid-passion because he had tears in his eyes it was hurting that much. Whoops!

And on this cycle, 5 days before my FW commences he's going into hospital for an operation on his shoulder so God knows what use he'll be to me after that Grin

Hello!

Hopping on the bus! AF came yesterday , 12 days late, after a flipping 52 day cycle (shock)

Stats : 39, TTC#2, Cycle 2, CD2

I'm expecting FW to be 29th-26th June as I have a loooong cycle!

I feel you Writer, I thought it would be month 1 for me too.

The day AF arrives I get really down and hate everything but once it's over I feel optimistic again. Might do ov tests this month if I feel like it, really I just wanna try BD every other day xx

Yeah I would definitely rather do it on my own (only because it's not my first lol) I had two friends who battled each other during pregnancy and then it was a boast fest on their babies development etc. I think they honestly missed how precious their babies were!
Writer my AF finished properly yesterday so onto a fresh cycle. Think if I don't get bfp this month then we'll just change to if it happens it happens x

I just had two friends who were pregnant the same time as each other and I think there was a lot of comparing going on. I agree with Laura05 on that and would rather be preg alone so I can do it my own way. She was really lucky catching first month, I keep telling myself it will be my time one day and when it's meant to happen it will happen xx

I will be ok as soon as its sunk in a bit more. I think she feels even more wary about being too excited in front of me because of my miscarriage earlier this year, it's all a bit complicated.

On the upside though, my period seems to be on its way out which means I can focus my energies on this new cycle Smile

Aw Writer that's hard. Chin up for this month though and you can both still be around the same stages. Personally I don't want to get a bfp the same time as someone close to me as it'll be constant comparing between the Bubbas and I can't be doing with that Hmm

Aww Writer :( you poor thing. One month is quite an achievement though! At least you have bags of time to get a BFP yourself and still be pregnancy buddies.
I feel you on that. My friend got pregnant the first time round so I was gutted when it didn't happen the first month. Waiting is so frustrating... x

She's also a colleague as well as a friend so there's no escaping from it.

My other colleague is pregnant too (14 weeks gone) but it took her two years to get her baby, including IVF, so I'm just super happy for her.

I am happy for my friend, really I am, and she certainly DTD far more than me and DH did so I think her and her exhausted DH deserve a reward for their efforts. They were at it constantly Grin

Writer that is really tough. I thought it was bad getting a pg announcement at work let alone it being a friend. it's such a weird mixture of feelings, anger sad disappointed jealous and it is all completely normal. I had a massive rant at my bf about it all and I felt a lot better after xx

Thanks guys. The only reason I knew she suspected she was pregnant because a mutual friend was telling me about (not knowing I was TTC with her too) so I text my friend to ask her if anything interesting was happening her end and that's when she told me.

Prior to that we were symptom spitting together, texting each other about when we would test, lots of silly pregnancy stuff I guess but she obviously felt she couldn't tell me she thought she was pregnant as she knew I'd gotten my period.

If I hadn't text her last night God knows when she would have told me she was pregnant.

I just don't want things to be weird between us now and although I'm really happy for her I still feel a bit jealous Sad

I've been pregnant three times before and each time I caught pregnant on the first cycle so I just assumed it would happen this time around too Sad

Sorry Writer that's tough. Flowers I wasn't sure I wanted to get pg in June, when af arrived I was really disappointed. Full steam ahead for July, clean eating, supplements and lots of dtd as I have no idea when I ovulate. Plus dh will love an old fashioned no plotting just every other day!

Feeling bummed tonight.

Me and my friend both started TTC last month (cycle one) and we even had our positive OPKs on the same day and we were so excited to be doing it together but whereas my period has arrived she got her BFP today. I'm feeling really sad about it which is silly I know Sad

midrog I'm exactly the same, I was secretly half expecting to be one of those lucky ones that conceive on the first try so was really quite disappointed this morning!

I'm a march baby too though, so maybe that means I'll just get an extra special birthday present next year if we manage this cycle Grin
