Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

Hi All,

Writer Sorry to hear that things are not lined up for you for this month, but you never know... I also have the WORST thrush of my life! Luckily my cycle is so long (I've never called that lucky before! Ha silver linings!!) so it should be cleared up by my fertile window.

I've just started using Ovia, wow it's confusing!! But very thorough so I'm sure I will get the hang of it. I'm crap with CM. Never know what sort it is. I'm also rubbish at remembering to look. However loads of cramping today which is weird as my fertile window is still 10 days away.

Going to do OPKs though but not the purple ones. They never work for me!
Comma sounds like very good timing of DTD!
Foxglove lol! Just lol!!

CommaStop · 19/06/2016 19:51

Do you mind if I jump on board?
Age: 34
TTC #2
Cycle 1
CD 16
ETD 2nd July.
Positive opk today. Dtd yesterday and day before so will try to dtd tonight also.
Fx for all the july bus ladies. Let's hope july's a fertile month.

Mbire · 19/06/2016 15:26

Hi ladies!
Welcome to the newbies. I have not posted in a while. AF arrived and went and I am now facing into cycle 10. Got a little upset during the week after yet another announcement from a good friend but feeling the positivity of FW now.
Using the Clearblue OPKs (the dual ones) have had flashy faces the past three days. The last time I used these ones I had flashy faces for 7 days and then no static. Let's hope this isn't the same. Can't help but think the dual ones are a money spinner so that you use lots within the month!!
laura hope you manage to pin him down tonight! Nothing like something getting in the way!!

Blondie0912 · 19/06/2016 14:28

Hahaha Foxglove that is the best! Men!!!!! Hahaha! Hope you're all doing well and welcome to the newbies! I haven't posted for a while as had AF (sucks!) but now on CD9 so getting close to fertile week- although DH and I have decided to just try and do it every other day this month from tomorrow- let's see if we can keep that up HmmGrin

Foxglove88 · 19/06/2016 13:03

Hello ladies! I had a chat earlier with my OH and thought it might make you laugh...

I was sharing with him the different kinds of cm you can get throughout your cycle... tacky, watery, creamy, egg white cm...
His response was "cooked or uncooked?"
🙈🙈🙈 hahaha!
I think he realised what he had said when I almost fell on the floor laughing.

So there you have it ladies! I love the idea of us passing a fried egg every month when we're fertile!

Poppydm · 19/06/2016 10:50

Thank you Trying Really hope it happens for you this time. Officially ⭐️CD1 as AF arrived this morning. Good that we can move on to cycle 2 now though.

Laura05 · 19/06/2016 10:41

Thanks. I've had no more ewcm so far so I'll just wait and see if any appears throughout the day.
Will hopefully jump in dh tonight Grin

TryingToStayRational · 19/06/2016 10:17

Hope you and your hubby are both back to full health soon, Writer.

Laura I think EWCM can really vary. I tend to notice it most about 2 days before I ovulate according to my fertility monitor. But I've read that people can get multiple patches of it during a cycle. Hope you manage to DTD soon.

How did you get on Theknittinggorilla? Hope you're ok.

Last night was our final BD for this cycle so now the dreaded tww begins. Timed it optimally according to CBFM so am feeling especially nervous now. I know there's only a 25%ish chance but after 4 cycles am starting to get mildly worried it's not gonna happen (I know this is silly) so I just sooooooo want it to happen this month! Also I'm a March baby and I think it's a nice time of year to have a baby, with all that Spring optimism and lighter nights on the way etc. I think I'm going a bit daft and need to distract myself and get a grip fast!

Good luck to Poppy and everyone else! Smile

happybus28 · 19/06/2016 09:30

Hi can I jump aboard?!

TTC #1
Cycle 2
CD1

The witch finally got me this morning after a painfully long 39 day cycle! 1st one off the pill so I expected it to be long but it was still frustrating! Looking forward to cracking on with cycle 2 now and hoping it will be shorter!

Laura05 · 19/06/2016 08:59

Thanks eva I don't use opks or temping. I did sign up to ovia after getting bfn last month and it says I'm in my fertile window from now to Wednesday. Only asking as when I put in that I had ewcm it wanted to change the details to today being my last fertile day?

Eva30 · 19/06/2016 08:19

laura what are your other signs? EWCM can last the whole of FW so you could be at the start of it? What cd are you and what's your usual cycle length? Are you temping? The will be an increase in temp after ov. Any opks you could do?

Laura05 · 19/06/2016 02:23

Hiya quick question - how soon after first signs of ewcm do you normally ovulate?

I had a small amount earlier tonight but I'm not long in from work and DH has his friend round so no dtd tonight Sad

I'm back at work in the morning so heading to bed alone -at least I can starfish!-

Just wondering if there's a chance we'll be out this month as last dtd was 3days ago Sad

MrsGsnow18 · 18/06/2016 11:02

Hope it clears up soon writer it's so frustrating having to put off another for another month, if you're anything like me your patience prob is wearing!

I've been on looking at everyone's line threads and it's lovely seeing people so excited when they get their BFP but it depresses me that I'm prob now waiting for August which by then will be my 8th cycle!

Luxnuova · 18/06/2016 08:46

Oh dear, writer, how blooming frustrating all round. Hope the cream works pronto.

Started the Clearblue dual-hormone opks this morning. Was trying to rip extremely durable packaging and work out how to insert the stick thingy into the holder whatsit and POAS when daughter woke up and starting yelling for me. And of course she also found it later, where I had left it for the five minute wait. 'Mummy, what's this, can I have it?' etc. Ha.

Poppydm · 18/06/2016 07:41

Morning ladies - is it ok to hop on the July bus? 12dpo and bfn this morning Sad Was our first real cycle after the pill. Just want AF to arrive now so we can move on to cycle 2.

Writerwannabe83 · 17/06/2016 23:37

Bertie - thanks for looking that up! I'm just on the cream, no tablets.

I've had lots of EWCM yesterday and today although I have no idea why as I woke by expect ovulation for at least another week. I used OPKs yesterday and today to see if I was in fact ovulating early but they both came back completely negative.

My DH is home after his operation today and looking at the state of him I don't DTD is on the cards anyway for a good while. I think things just weren't meant to be this month..

Hi can I join?
I'm 36
Ttc no 3
Cycle one, expecting af to show up tonight or tomorrow. Have been harbouring vague hopes that I could be pregnant already as had lots of nausea the last few days (got morning sickness very early With ds2) though I know it's very unlikely as only dtd after cd20 of 28 day cycle, plus now have some spotting. So just want af to arrive properly now so we can start trying this cycle.
Etd will be 16th July!

BertieBotts · 17/06/2016 23:01

Going by a quick google it is OK to have sex when you have thrush because men can't catch it in that way but of course you might not feel up to it.

It also says you shouldn't take the capsules while pregnant so that might be a concern.

Writerwannabe83 · 17/06/2016 22:00

Looks like I'm disembarking this bus then....

OP posts:
babydances · 17/06/2016 21:14

Poor you writer I think you can pass it on to him as men I'm pretty sure can get thrush. Take care of yourself and worry about ttc when you're feeling more up to it xx

Writerwannabe83 · 17/06/2016 20:13

The thrush is unbearable.

I rang my GP surgery today and begged for a prescription without having to be seen as yet again, there were no appointments available.

I gave her all the gory details, she spoke to a doctor on my behalf who then sent an electionic prescription to my local Pharmacy. YAY.

So I now have some hard core, steroid based anti fungal cream to apply for 14 days and I'm so relieved!!

I'm not sure whether I should be TTC at the same time, as it really is a nasty flare up, and I don't know if I could pass it on to DH if we started bumping uglies??

babydances · 17/06/2016 18:24

Poor you writer how uncomfortable Sad
I'm pretty sure my af has arrived. My body has been all over the place.
I shall continue to rea son here and will update when things get moving Hahahaha.
My implant is coming out in two weeks after my allergy testing.
It's 10 months out of date and perhaps his is why these last two cycles have been long. Fx

TryingToStayRational · 17/06/2016 15:05

Lelly I haven't but I've heard many people say it. I don't know if that could be due to iron or something like that? I take just folic acid and vit D in the nhs recommended amounts - I get them from Boots who do a tablet with both in. So far haven't noticed any effect except that (possibly coincidence) my eczema seems to have got loads better. So might have to continue taking them forever!

Lelly0503 · 17/06/2016 14:14

Has anyone taken pregnancy/conception vitamins before and noticed they made you feel a bit sick?

NovaArt3mis · 17/06/2016 12:38
