Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

Just checking in on the bus. It's getting pretty busy! Hopefully there will be lots of BFPs soon!
Anyone else just waiting for FW to start? I'm using OPKs everyday!! Still no lines though Confused

Foxglove88 · 25/06/2016 06:31

Hi everyone!
I don't think it will be long until I start looking at OPKs!! And it's only the second month of us trying Hmm
I'm not sure what's going on with my body at the moment. Has anyone had experience of mid-cycle bleeding/ovulation bleeding?
I've had spotting on/off for 6 days, which is long for ovulation bleeding apparently. Random light brown ewcm spotting and brown/red mucus (sorry).
What do you think? I'm wondering whether I should count the start of the spotting as cd1?
Thank you! x

Hi all!
So I got the positive Opk yesterday, going to dtd again tomorrow (8th time since last Thursday)
babyreadykate I'm also on cycle 10- nice to meet ppl on similar timelines... Let's hope we have done enough this month. I try to prepare myself each month but it gets harder each month. Going for day 21 tests on Monday. Fingers x'd for everyone Flowers

AnnaKateNZ · 24/06/2016 22:13

Hi all, I would like to join the July bus please :)

TCC #1
Cycle 2
Age - 30
Currently on cd 34 at the moment - This will be my first proper AF off the pill. I am hoping it will arrive soon, I was hoping that I would go back to my regular 28 day cycle straight away but no.

With AF so late I am unsure where that puts my FW? Hopefully Ovia can help me out with that and I have also picked up some ovulation sticks from the pharmacy.

Good luck for July everyone!

Poppydm · 24/06/2016 22:07

Good luck Wibble Sounds like a good effort to me Smile I'm on CD6 didn't ovulate until around CD18 last cycle so hopefully it will come around quickly. Going to start OPKs from CD10 as this is only my second cycle so not regular yet.

SoozC · 24/06/2016 21:38

I am still here, reading and lurking. Welcome newbies! Good luck to everyone testing soon. I'm still waiting for fw, should be starting next Monday or Tuesday. Ho hum.

Wibblewobble100 · 24/06/2016 20:03

Hello all, welcome Kate, hope everyone is doing well.
I'm CD 17 today, and standby yesterday's post that I ovulated last night. Going to keep BD over the weekend just in case. So far we've managed CD 8,11,12,14,16 and despite being cycle 6 it's the first time I feel we've really got our bases covered. The bad thing about this is that if I get a BFN I'll be even more disappointed because really, there not much more I feel I can do to make it happen.
Anyway, there's so much negativity today that I must stay positive. I do hope today's results don't negatively impact on anyone enough to make you worried about TTC. X

Eva30 · 24/06/2016 17:10

Welcome babyreadykate, I agree I really like having the support on here and hearing everyone's stories. I start doing opks around cd10, I ov around cd14-15 and I don't want to miss it so I start a bit earlier than that. The average ov day is 12-14 apparently.
This is going to sound really silly but I've been thinking of delaying TTC due to the leave vote today - is that ridiculous? Just very worried about mine and DH jobs now, and house, money etc Sad
laura I think they say implantation would take place anywhere between 6-10dpo.
lelly yes next 24-36 hours.
I'm on cd8, awaiting FW.

Laura05 · 24/06/2016 14:46

Never mind, decided to Google Blush and as I thought it's far too early. I was sure I was out this month but had a few symptoms on and off that I don't normally get and so I've started symptom spotting when I swore I'd be good this ttw! Blush
Argh!!

Laura05 · 24/06/2016 14:22

Hi ladies, question for you (having a blonde day)
How soon after ovulation does implantation take place? I'm trying to avoid google this month so thought it safer to ask here Grin
I ovulated Monday or Tuesday (for some reason I haven't put it on ovia!) and felt a pain in my right side. Only lasted a minute or two but have no idea other than the witch taking the piss what it could be?

Lelly0503 · 24/06/2016 11:53

Just got a positive OPK suspected I would as had EWCM this morning. I last Dtd on Wednesday, had a full day in London yesterday and was far too tired. So a positive OPK means ovulation is about to occur in the next 24/36 hours?

Theknittinggorilla · 24/06/2016 11:51

Hi!
Af arrived the evening of my first post Sad, then my dh had a wobble about whether it was a good time to start trying or not SadSad but think we are back on track now (though the catastrophe we have woken up to this morning will probably open up those discussions again...)
But for now I am on the bus, on cd7, fw from next wed, fingers crossed!
Have no idea about the temping, opk stuff as we were very lucky with the last two that we conceived quite quickly so for now I think it's just lots of dtd and a test date round about 16 July.

TryingToStayRational · 24/06/2016 09:14

I'm on cycle 5, Poppy - I got a bit obsessed the first three cycles and it was the first thing on my mind every morning, but am now a bit more relaxed and accepting of it taking a while. Obviously sometimes more so than others!

Barefootcontessa84 · 23/06/2016 23:29

Still around babydances! So glad something finally happened for you, and you can move forward!

Babyreadykate · 23/06/2016 21:42

Hey all-
First post!
Jumping on the July bus, been so upset and frustrated thinking something must be wrong. On tenth month of ttc and can't say af every month is getting any easier; instead much harder.
Nothing showed on the cheap opk so bought CB one and heres hoping!
Ttc- #1
Age: 31
Cd: 8
Ttc for: 10months

So grateful for support and to know others are sharing in the same excitement, anxiety and frustrations of this process. I had no idea how hard both physically and emotionally!
No idea when I ovulate as been timing it on ovia so just a guess. Tomorrow is cd9 shall I try my clear blue testing tomorrow morning do you think?

Good luck to all you ladies too xx

HermieBoo · 23/06/2016 21:40

Hello! Joining from the June bus now Eva has explained the bus thing to me!
TTC#2
Cycle #2
ETD 6th July
The OPK sticks don't seem to work for me, I've never got better than a slightly lighter than control line. Very tempted by the digital monitors you can get on eBay but worried that I'll start to get a bit obsessive! Mind you, I really would like another March baby, so I think that's what's making me obsess a little this month.

Poppydm · 23/06/2016 20:52

Have you noticed EWCM Wibble? I've read lots of different opinions on OPKs. Some people get strong lines, some not so strong some none at all. If you've got ovulation pains and EWCM I'd just DTD as often as you can just in case.

Poppydm · 23/06/2016 20:48

Ah thank you. I really don't want to stress or obsess either so think I'll just do OPKs again this month and make sure we do lots of BD :-) Have you been trying for long?

Wibblewobble100 · 23/06/2016 20:01

Arghhh, opks doing my head in. I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating today but they are still negative.... Or at least not as dark at the control.... I had the darkest one first thing this morning, but be 6 pm it's lighter again, similar to yesterday... Could I have had my surge overnight and missed it?

TryingToStayRational · 23/06/2016 19:28

What you'd find out from temping is a strong indication of when and whether you ovulate. I did it for a couple of cycles just to see what happened and for a bit of reassurance. But I did find it a bit stress-inducing so haven't done it since and don't intend to. I became a bit obsessed and it wasn't good for me. I think we all just have to do whatever makes us feel as relaxed as possible, and for me that is using a fertility monitor, but for some people it is temping or checking CM or opks or all of the above. And for some people it is none of them! Hope you find what works for you and soon get your BFP Smile

Poppydm · 23/06/2016 19:04

Thanks Trying I haven't tried temping before. I'm not stressing about it just yet as its still early days for me. Just was unsure about AFs being so light and hoping it wasn't a sign that things haven't quite woken up yet after years on the pill. is it worth trying to temp? What can you find out from it? Thank you again for replying.

TryingToStayRational · 23/06/2016 18:44

Poppy if you get positive Opks and a temp shift then the chances are you are ovulating. You can't be 100% sure but they are two good indicators. If you're really stressing you could ask your GP for advice, as there are some blood tests that can be done to check hormone levels x

BertieBotts · 23/06/2016 18:25

Haha it's fine, at least you have a word in yours. When I joined it was N49873409732732 or something like that...

Which terminology do you want to know?

DH's card has been cloned and they have cancelled it :( So no amazon so probably no OPKs this month. Oh well I am doing OK with temping I think.

Poppydm · 23/06/2016 18:02

Hi ladies, just wanting a bit of advice please. I came off the pill in March and had a withdrawal bleed. 26 days later, I had my first real period. I say real, I had no cramps, sore boobs and it was light and only lasted around three days. I then went into cycle one, DTD etc and got a bfn on 12dpo. AF arrived the next day after a 30 day cycle. This time I had cramps but again AF is so light and had barely been there. I know that your body takes time to adjust and get the hormones out of your system but I'm just wondering if I'm actually ovulating yet? I don't want to be building my hopes up every cycle of I'm not. These periods are barely there. I used OPKs last cycles and got two days of positives on them but I read that that can happen if your body is trying to ovulate. Can you tell if you do ovulate via temping? If you're having some sort of period and positive OPK is the likelihood that you are ovulating? Sorry for the ramble just setting myself up for the next cycle and it's something that's been on my mind. Hope everyone has had a lovely day Smile

user1466632763 · 23/06/2016 10:00

Oops BertieBotts! Excuse me being the clueless newbie Grin I'll have to change this!

I've had spotting today and last night.. According to the ovulation calculator I should of been ovulating from the 16th-21st.

So may be mid cycle spotting :(

Any tips would be appreciated!

MC happened on the good Friday March, I've had 3 periods since then...

Also can someone please explain this terminology Halo
