Yes we all have each other here for each other and we have been through some ups and downs together. Would be great if we could get a few more bfps on here for the rest of us now and then we can all graduate together onto a new board Smile

I'm wondering if we should change the name of the next thread a little. I've thought for a while it's not really appropriate anymore as I don't think there are many of us on here trying to actively conceive naturally or if there are then they are way past the 10 month mark. The majority of us are going through the trials and tribulations of IVF now or other assisted conception? Maybe we could get some new members if its worded slightly differently?

Maple - lovely to hear from you.
Lol to the appendix removal!

Lucie!! Brilliant :).
You've found an acupuncturist in Czech?! How on earth did you go about that?

MPP - great news in your fertilisation, and good luck for transfer. I hate ALL the pessaries... Haven't tried utrogestan though.

MPP and star - thank you for asking, I'm ok. Started to feel a bit sick the last couple of days, but like itsme I'm convinced there's going to be nothing there when I get to my scan. Especially as the sickness seems to have gone off a bit this evening.

Itsme - I don't have any sore boobs either, and I've stopped POAS as its just too stressful. The ICS very rarely get dark.

Itsme247 · 02/08/2016 21:53

Thanks Lucie, for the thread and the reassuring words! It is hard, that's why it's so good we have each other :)

Beckajohn21 · 02/08/2016 21:23

Apologies I didn't read all the comments only the title saying trying to conceive 10 months more. Wishing everyone luck

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 21:15

I'm not sure really Becka. Most of us here are currently going through IVF or some sort of assisted conception so it isn't really appropriate to barge onto a thread with a pic of your pregnancy test when you have not even introduced yourself or read back on any other members of the group! Good luck to you though. I hope you get your BFP.

Hi there. I'm quite new to all this. Iv been ttc now for quite some time with my second child. Today my period was due but no show as of yet. So this afternoon I did a clear blue pregnancy test but unsure what to think of the result. What do you guys think

Aww itsme, if you are doing Internet cheapy tests then honestly stop doing them they are rubbish! If you want to see a nice dark line get a frer and also do the CB digitals so you can see the progression through to 3+ that should give some reassurance. I know what a nerve wracking time it is waiting for the scan though. Hope it comes around quickly for you.

MPP great news!! some very positive news on this thread at the minute! I

I am OK. A bit of a nervous wreck if I'm honest, I've got it into my head that it's not a viable pregnancy. I don't feel any different and I tested yesterday and line is still about half as dark as the control line. No bleeding and no cramps so I'll find out at my scan (if not before) on the 16th for certain.

Just staying very realistic although I wake up everyday praying for morning sickness and sore boobs!

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 16:43

Aww that's sounds lovely MPP. Glad you had a nice time. Yes it's a nice little town.

OP posts:
MPP81 · 02/08/2016 16:27

Thanks Lucie. We've just come back from our wander. We saw the deckchairs and the pop up bar, had some lunch in the square and just generally acted touristy. Brno is beautiful!

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 13:03

Star, sorry I missed your post. I don't think the NHS will offer the testing unfortunately. I've enquired previously about whether I could pay for any extras but they said no I think it's just the straight IVF or ICSI.

Stealth, thanks lovely, glad to hear your doing well and hope the sickness eases up too.

MPP, lots of places you could go. You could have a wander around the town. There are lots of nice deckchairs and a pop up cocktail and lemonade bar by the fountain in the main square. Another day you could take a trip up to the big lake and have a cruise on one of the boats. There's also a big shopping mall by the big tesco it that's your thing or wander up to Spilberk Castle. Maybe just head into town for now though to get your bearings.

Crosspost Stealth! Thank you! The morning sickness doesn't sound like fun, but as you said, all for a good cause! Nearly halfway already! Blimey, time flies! Glad you're ok! :-)

MPP81 · 02/08/2016 12:56

Thanks Star and Lucie! I'm going to see how the next few days go with the utrogestan. Maybe its just coincidence. If not, I may ask if there's something else I could have instead. We haven't really done anything here yet, Lucie. Yesterday we vegged in our hotel all day and watched netflix and slept. Today, we intended to go out straight after breakfast but I got another pretty nasty headache so I crawled into bed and DH trooped out for paracetemol. Headache has gone now though, so we are getting ready to go for a walk and explore a bit. Anywhere you'd recommend? :-)

stealthbanana · 02/08/2016 12:53

Brilliant news mpp and lucie! Fx for lots of lovely day 5ers between the 2 of you. Really good news.

star bless thank you for asking! I am fine, 18 weeks and all seems to be well. Almost at the halfway mark. Unfortunately my morning sickness has returned with a vengeance this week but all for a good cause! Hoping very much you will all be following along very shortly (with pregnancy, not vomiting!)

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 12:49

MPP, that's brilliant news! We have very similar numbers Smile I'm lucky I've tried a couple of different progesterones and Utrogestan is actually the one I like the most. I don't find it messy at all or have any side effects. I tried crinone once and didn't get on with that at all. Anyway enjoy your free day tomorrow. Have you been up to much in Brno?

star1980 · 02/08/2016 12:49

Just popping on to say congratulations to Lucie and MPP!!

Lucie, that's such an amazing result. Great quality embryos and so many of them! I was struck by your plan to test and freeze any that you don't transfer. Do you think I'll be able to do that on my nhs go if I'm lucky enough to have something to test/freeze? I'd obviously have to pay for the testing.

MPP, I'm so pleased things are going well. Sorry you're having a tough time with the progesterone - could you see if there's an alternative that you might not react to the same?

Maple, lovely news for you too. Good luck for Friday's scan - crossing my fingers for a small number of big follicles and iui shortly afterwards.

Banana, I am really sorry it wasn't better news on Sunday. That really sucks. On the plus side, your dr really does sound incredible and your next steps sound sensible. Oh the irony of throwing eggs away, but it does seem like there's nothing else for it really. Hope you and your partner are holding up OK. Please look after yourselves Flowers

How are our pregnant ladies?! Sammy, itsme, stealth and boris - we have so many now! I am so sure Lucie and MPP will be joining you really soon (and hopefully maple, banana, Brenna and myself shortly afterwards - fingers crossed so hard!)

MPP81 · 02/08/2016 12:22

Afternoon all!

Maple, how are you doing? I'm afraid that I'm still not much use on advice on how things should be at each point in the cycle but I am thinking of you and hope you are ok.

Lucie, more fantastic news for you! I am so so pleased for you!

Banana, the wooze juice was so amazing that I (apparently) told DH that we should get some to take home because it would help him loads (he is a terrible sleeper!)

Star, how are you? Did you dtd after?

Sammy, Boris, how are you feeling at the moment?

Good news here today too. Out of the 10 eggs, 9 were mature and 7 have fertilised! We can relax a little now til day 3. Transfer is expected to be at 10.45am on Saturday. In other news, I hate the utrogestan. Its messy and I think it might be giving me headaches as I've only taken it twice and both times have been KO'd with blinders half hour/an hour later Hmm

Hope everyone else is good!

maplebaby · 02/08/2016 11:52

Just had the scan - there was one lead follie at about 12mm and several close behind. Lining was 4.6... Not sure what it should be for this time in my cycle!

Got another scan for Friday - if the other follies catch up they will have to cancel, they only allow up to 3 so fingers crossed they don't all have a growth spurt!

Borisisback · 02/08/2016 10:04

Maple - good luck

Lucie - fab news! So pleased for you!

maplebaby · 02/08/2016 10:00

Thanks Lucie leaving the office in 30 mins to go for my scan - gearing myself up for disappointment. I know I'm meant to try and be positive but it's hard sometimes!

Amazing news on the embies!! Now a wait till Thursday - eek! The mini IVF has obviously really worked for you so far!

Saw an article on BBC website that "women without appendix 'more fertile'"... where do I find the nearest hospital that will remove mine for no reason?!?

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 09:51

Thanks itsme, it's so nice to have good news for a change! Hope everything is ok with you.

Itsme247 · 02/08/2016 09:50

Lucie wahoo!! I'm feeling very good about this!!

lucieloos · 02/08/2016 09:20

Maple, that's really exciting, good luck with your scan I know how nerve wracking they can be. Keep us posted with how you're getting on!

I've had more good news today can hardly believe it! All 6 of our embies are still going. We have 1x10 cell, 2x8 cell, 2x7 cell and 1x5 cell. Our best results ever! God it's so stressful waiting for the results though. Can breathe another sigh of relief now for a couple of days and onto transfer on Thursday. I'm having acupuncture before and after the transfer and hopefully if there's anything left over we will get them tested and frozen.

Hi all, sorry for being AWOL for a while - been dipping in and out of mumsnet since coming back from holiday and been busy with hen dos etc! Been reading your updates and thinking of you all!

MPP 10 eggs! Fab news - hope you get good news on mature / fertilised eggs tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you.

Lucie what fantastic news that all eggs fertilised! Best of luck for tomorrow's day 3 update!

Banana I'm sorry about the cancelled cycle that really sucks. Your Dr sounds so good though, taking into account the studies and willing to give the wash a try. Sounds like he's got a plan in place for you - I hope it doesn't come to the coil but like you said if it's that vs possible miscarriage then, personally got me, it would be worth a shot. Good luck!!

Loved hearing all your trigger stories and about lucie and MPP passing each other at the clinic!

Brenna sounds like a busy month but glad you have got all your tests booked in

Mrsren we use preseed but we have always used lube so we just switched when we TTC from KY - hasn't helped us at all yet but just wanted sperm friendly lube tbh. Not long now till SA results!

Star did you shag in the end??

Welcome TMI sorry you find yourself here - I've just finished clomid and had no symptoms - I took it at night and I'm only on 50mg.

AFM I can't remember where I got to with updates, but I started AF (I count it from seeing red blood as my periods are so light) and they asked to scan me on CD5 before I started the clomid (I was on holiday so I couldn't come in earlier). When I got scanned they found a 12mm follicle so I went back for a scan on CD9 and it had gone! So they ran bloods to check it wasn't hiding and ovaries were quiet so I started clomid then. So in my head / according to FF I'm on CD15 now but my hospital are counting me as CD8 today (if they count me starting clomid as CD2)... Sorry that was long and waffley! Anyway I'm getting scanned tomorrow and hopefully IUI this week Smile

Feeling nervous about how many follicles / size / lining!!

bananafish81 · 01/08/2016 12:06

Nice work MPP - and yes the wooze juice is brilliant!!

Hoping for great news from the love lab, hole you can have a restful day
