Lucie!! How was the holiday? I hope you had a fab time, though obviously coming back with a cold sucks. I hope you feel better soon. Glad AF arrived with no mucking about. Hope the next one does the same.

Sammy ill have to have a look at the liquid iron. keep us posted on how the scan goes tomorrow!

I have some news. Our house sale, as I mentioned, goes through in two weeks but there have been 'unforseen delays' to our new house which means it may not be ready til late August. Our buyer doesn't want to wait so we've agreed to move in with my mother until our house is ready. I was quite upset because this would mean our first cycle might not take place til October or November but tonight we've discussed and agreed to try to go forward now. I'm hoping the change of address mid arrangement won't be a problem for reprofit (or the almost a stone ive somehow managed to gain in about 5 weeks! Blush) but I've sent the email asking about these issues and said if it's all good can they please now send me the prescriptions. Kind of nervous! Lucie, I will finally finally be joining the forum you mentioned tomorrow. I've got the link and I've set aside am hour to join and read tomorrow morning withere my coffee! :)

loopylou1984 · 28/06/2016 18:26

Thanks itsme - yes, your lining should be thin at the beginning of your cycle. Less than 3ishmm I think.
Once you get started it goes so quickly!

Ooh where are you going Brenna?

MPP - thank you for another scan tomorrow so fx!
Glad AF arrived in a timely manner! I can seriously recommend liquid iron - it's improved my AF amazingly. It's on Amazon, called something like floradix.

Welcome home Lucie, lively weather you've brought back with you
Glad AF is behaving for you too!

Banana - any news on your AF? Was your hysteroscopy today?

Waves to everyone else

lucieloos · 28/06/2016 15:37

Hi there, just back from my hols today so haven't had chance to catch up properly yet. Had a lovely time but have come back with a stinking cold so not feeling as refreshed as I hoped at the moment!

Sammy, great news about your scan and good luck for tomorrow. It's all sounding very promising!

MPP, sounds like it's all happening for you! Good luck with the house move and maybe we can compare notes about Czech soon!

Af arrived for me whilst I was on hols which is good news. I just have to wait for the next one now which should be another 2.5 weeks or so and then it's all systems go again. Have been busy sorting prescriptions and meds. I'm looking forward to getting on with it again.

Arrggghh I'm behind again! We got a moving date for much sooner than expected so I've been frantically packing!

I'm so sorry for all the baby bombs, and for annoying and intrusive questions. It's so hard, and I think you're all dealing with them brilliantly. Plus, having this thread to rant on is always brilliant.

Awesome news Sammy! Good luck for your scan tomorrow. Here's hoping for a nice juicy lining and EC Friday!

itsme also no idea about the lining I'm afraid. Good luck with starting stimms though!

Welcome mrsren though sorry you find yourself here. The year mark is a hard one, but I've always found I feel a little better when I've got a plan or appointments lined up. It feels like you're doing something then. Fx the doctor will get things rolling for you.

AFM, AF arrived 3 days after coming off the norethisterone, so right on schedule but was lighter than it usually is. That worries me a little as everything I read said I could expect a heavier than normal AF after it, and AF is usually very light anyway. I guess I just need to wait til next AF and see how that is. Moving date is in two weeks, barring any issues, so the plan is get into new house, unpack computer, contact Czech for prescription, order meds, and get moving so estimated time would be August/September by the looks of things.

Hope everyone is OK! :)

Brenna24 · 28/06/2016 08:57

That is great news Sammy. Everything crossed for you.

We are filling the gap by going on holiday. That will make the time pass. Grin

Best of luck Itsme. No idea about the lining. Sorry.

Itsme247 · 28/06/2016 08:45

Wow Sammy that seems to have gone so quickly! I had my scan this morning and can start stimms tonight. My lining is very thin, is that a good thing at this point?

Argh I'm just so bored I want this to hurry up!

loopylou1984 · 27/06/2016 18:23

Hi Mrsren, and welcome. 12 months was really hard. It's when you first start thinking something could actually be wrong. Of course it's just as true that there might be nothing wrong and your bfp is just round the corner.
You've done the right thing getting a GP appointment , must likely you'll get booked in for blood tests to check ovulation and hormone levels, then your DH will need to provide s sample for semen analysis. As you're at 12 months, you should then be referred to a fertility specialist whatever the results.

brenna - I see, well at least it doesn't matter in a getting pg sense. Still a bit annoying having to wait though I imagine.

Scan went well. I have 15 follicles ranging from 8mm to 18mm. And my lining was 7.4mm! That's good for me so I'm pleased. I am to keep stabbing for 2 more days with another scan booked for Wednesday! So fx lining will thicken up a bit more. Looks like EC might be Friday now. Xx

Brenna24 · 27/06/2016 11:27

Everything crossed for your scan today. They are doing coagulation tests, antibody tests, hormone tests and genotyping, so I am not surprised it is going to take a while. Luckily AF arrived yesterday so by the time I could possibly be pregnant next we will be getting the results, so it actually makes no difference to me whether it is 2 or 4 weeks.

Hi MrsRen and welcome. I hope your GP is helpful.

MrsRen · 27/06/2016 10:53

Hi All,

Can I join? Last week I got my 12th period of TTC, gutted as really hoped that would be the month!

I'm 32 and TTC for #1

My periods are regular but fairly light although doc said in the past that shouldn't be a problem. I think I'm ovulating normally as I get positives on the ov sticks.

We've made an appointment to see our GP so it's a bit of a waiting game to see what comes out of that.

I've been reading through this thread and has really helped feel like I'm not alone.

X

loopylou1984 · 26/06/2016 19:33

Brenna that's a long wait for the results Sad
I have a pg colleague who for some reason really gets to me. We used to be friends. Now for self preservation I only talk to her about work. She's so baby obsessed now that I don't even think she's noticed that I've stopped sharing things about my life with her!

I have my first post stims scan tomorrow. They're doing it very early so that we can reduce the dose if it looks like OHSS might be a problem. I'm so worried that there are going to be no follicles at all! Xx

Brenna24 · 25/06/2016 22:11

I see her at least weekly.

Bloods back in 3 weeks to a month.

loopylou1984 · 25/06/2016 08:41

lol - Boris re name change!

Brenna - ouch. What an idiot your colleague must be. Do you see her regularly in work?
When do you get your blood test results?

Brenna24 · 24/06/2016 11:17

Oh Sammy Flowers. Someone wasked me on the way into work yesterday and asked how my baby was. She was in the yoga class with me, so knew I was pregnant, has seen me weekly since and has somehow failed to notice that I did not get any larger or leave on maternity leave 2 months ago. Awkward conversation there too.

Woke up to find my life massively further complicated and then went to get my bloods taken. Surely today can only improve from here?

BorisIsBack · 24/06/2016 10:36

Itsme and sammy good luck for the drug mixing and injections. You are both really strong ladies but more than entitled to cry when ever you need to. Better out than in (although politically that statement is questionable).

Sammy what a difficult conversation you had.

Trixie hope the scratch went well.

Waves to everyone else, I'm starting to think I need a new nn on here after yesterday's election. Brenna Flowers for you.

loopylou1984 · 23/06/2016 19:53

Brenna - good luck for tomorrow!

Conversation at work today went like this:

Colleague: 'have you and mr sammylou discussed when you might like to have children'

Me: gobsmacked for about 15 seconds then 'well yeah, but it's a long story... Not one I can tell in the remaining 5 minutes of our journey'

Colleague: 'oh god, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to pry'

She was genuinely mortified. I had been thinking about telling her anyway as she's lovely and her bro has had IVF so think she'll understand. Now I'll probably have to, although she'll probably never ask again! X

JustTrixie · 23/06/2016 10:27

Flowers Maple, there seem to be pregnant women and babies everywhere at the moment.

Good luck this month MrsNucky

Have my scratch today - eek! Looking forward to getting out of the office for a bit but not looking forward to the actual scratch.

Brenna24 · 23/06/2016 10:17

Oh no Maple. You are having no luck. Flowers

Fingers crossed for this month MrsN

Best of luck Sammy

Awww, Itsme. Maybe this time you will break the run. Or you could get them to test for you.

Tomorrow morning we will find out the result of the referendum and I will have my bloods taken. Big day tomorrow. I have voted already but the result will likely make a massive impact on our lives, so I am jittering about that as well as the bloods. I will be glad when tomorrow is over.

loopylou1984 · 22/06/2016 22:35

Itsme - I just did my menopur mixing tonight. It's fine. It looks complicated when you see all the syringes but really it's just squirting 2 lots of water in to some powder!
I've cried at many an appointment, usually for no real reason. It's good to let it out, and the nurse will definitely be used to people crying!

Itsme247 · 22/06/2016 21:38

Scan on Tuesday, and the mixing of the menopur is also very scary now!

Balled my eyes out when she talked about 'test date' and she seemed confused when I said that whenever I test, I get a period, so I'd rather not test at all!

loopylou1984 · 22/06/2016 18:26

Itsme - the unknowns are hard. My DH doesn't get it. He got home yesterday and said 'so when will egg collection be?' I had to explain that having had my baseline scan made no difference to the fact that I can't be sure how I'll respond to stims!
How did your training go? Yay for a 2ww buddy!

Sorry for AF star, doesn't get any easier does it? And sorry for the baby bomb maple.

Mrsnucky - I'm not sure we've met? I hate when AF teases you like that. Fx for an ironidiff this month.

Thank you everyone for the stabbing well wishes! First stims stab tonight so two needles this time - YAY! Actually bit worried about mixing the no pour - it still shocks me that I'm responsible for this myself! Xx

MrsNuckyT · 22/06/2016 16:01

Hi ladies, just checking in. Nothing doing for me. Really thought this might have been the month as we'd been away on holds and had time for lots of BDing. AF was a few days late but turned up all the same - I didn't even do a test as I was scared to see another 'not pregnant'.

This is the last month before we try IVF. Would reeeeally like it to happen so here goes. CD3.

maplebaby · 22/06/2016 15:52

P.S incase anyone thinks I was being self obsessed I saw stars news on another thread - star I wasn't ignoring you on this thread FlowersWineCake but just to say sorry again X

maplebaby · 22/06/2016 15:45

Kill me now. Baby bombed at work - what the fuck!

LemonDrizzler · 22/06/2016 13:47

Sorry Star :(

Good luck with all the preparations/stabbing Sammy and Itsme

Maple I feel your pain, I just got baby bombed on my university homepage - is nowhere safe?! One of my lecturers from last year (who was planning her wedding so presumably a honeymoon baby). Not at all completely bitter...!

Brenna24 · 22/06/2016 12:20

Sorry Star.
