Hi bean, glad you're still lurking. It's so difficult. I've always been in the camp of getting going ASAP as I find the waiting really hard. However off the back of this disappointing cycle I understand needing some time too. Not very helpful huh?

I HATE Lutigest. It's so leaky Sad
Never thought I'd be wishing for cyclogest instead, but at least I could use the back door to prevent as much leaking.
I'm feeling a bit cramps... Two days after ET... Surely that can't be good? Could it be the progesterone?

beanhunter · 05/07/2016 13:54

Still lurking along. On holidays this week so no risk of real life baby bombs but still had 2 on stalker book. Oh well, off for ice cream.

We are still debating when to cycle again. Part of me never wants to again. Part wants to start asap. Need to take the pill for a month so earliest would be starting off August period. Kind of living in the vain hope of a miracle upduffing before then..

Itsme247 · 05/07/2016 12:22

It's good to hear after EC, I'm certainly not going to put any pressure on it.

Come on follies, grow!!!

loopylou1984 · 05/07/2016 11:21

That sounds perfect Trixie, I'd love a little break right now.
Phew on the baby shower date, having to do that after getting bfn would be awful...or bfp and having to keep quiet!

Itsme - just play it by ear, if you feel up to it then go, but if not then you can just say you're ill. Xx

Itsme247 · 05/07/2016 10:57

I'm very bloody minded. I went back to work the day after my laproscopy...

I am trying to save the relax don't do anything for after egg transfer (fx we get there)

JustTrixie · 05/07/2016 10:13

We went to Scotland to visit my in laws Sammy we were by the sea and it was lovely and relaxing Smile glad you're taking it easy. Lovely pics! Have everything crossed for you, I know how hard it is xx

All sounding very good Itsme. Very frustrating re the timing though. I was in a lot of pain after my first EC and could barely make it up the stairs so no way would I have made a wedding. I was ok this time though. Hopefully you are ok.

Sorry about the baby bomb MrsRen, they suck!

Turns out the baby shower I am planning will be before we've even had transfer in our FET which is good (based on her due date I thought it could be around the finding out time)

loopylou1984 · 05/07/2016 09:45

Everything crossed for you itsme!

Itsme247 · 05/07/2016 09:09

Next scan Thursday morning at 8am then they'll let me know if I should do trigger that evening.

I got properly emotional when I saw them all on screen. They might just be the start of our family!!

Brenna24 · 05/07/2016 08:56

Lovely littel Embys.

Hugs MrsRen. It is hard but we will get through this. Flowers

loopylou1984 · 05/07/2016 08:55

I think it can itsme, but 12mm sounds perfect! Just need to grow those follies a bit more and you'll be off. When's your next scan? It is only a light sedative, so wears off quickly. But I was pretty uncomfortable once the painkiller wore off too, and paracetamol wasn't as good.
It is so annoying that as well as going through all this we have to potentially miss out on stuff too :(.

Itsme247 · 05/07/2016 08:49

i didn't realise they give you the pictures, beautiful little embryos! I have everything crossed for you.

Its funny isn't it, as soon as I got 12mm I started googling 'can a lining be too thick?' Which apparently it can.

Yes I don't know how I'll feel after sedation. Egg collection is in Nottingham and wedding in Oxford so if all works out I should be able to have a little snooze in the car.

I hate diary timings and dates, grr!

maplebaby · 05/07/2016 08:44

Wow itsme!! I have no experience of how you would feel have EC but I would take it easy and see how you feel on the day - will it be in the morning?

Mrsren Flowers it's really tough, they all hit me hard now - i got baby bombed yesterday too by someone who hasn't even been back from maternity that long. Luckily I overheard rather than being told face to face so didn't have to do my fake smile and congrats.

loopylou1984 · 05/07/2016 08:40

Itsme - that sounds great. Am very jealous of your 12mm!
Re the wedding - I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere except my sofa (remember you will have been sedated), but as long as you just stay sitting down in sure it won't do any harm. I think it'll depend on what time your EC is and what time the wedding starts.

Mrsren - that's so unfair first thing in the morning :(. Flowers

Thanks for all the congratulations, I'm trying very hard to be positive. It's hard with failed cycles behind you.
Have Accupuncture today at 11.15 so have to drive myself to that, but otherwise I'm not doing a lot other than resting.

Here are my two embryos:

MrsRen · 05/07/2016 08:28

Great news Sammy! Fingers crossed :-)

I've been baby bombed this morning before I've even had my non caffeinated hot drink...

Some days I can take it on the chin, but apparently not today :-(

Itsme247 · 05/07/2016 08:28

Eek! Seven 14s, five 13s and one little 10. Lining is at 12mm. He reckons we will bring forward trigger to Thursday night and egg collection on Saturday. Thing is, it's my friends wedding on Saturday. Would I be mad saying that I could attend both, should the timings work? I'm not exactly going to be jumping around doing the conga, but I want to be there at least!!

maplebaby · 04/07/2016 19:20

Congrats sammy and to mr sammy for a fab result! What a turnaround! Fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks!

Itsme247 · 04/07/2016 17:43

Yay congrats Sammy! So exciting! Have a restful couple of weeks, I'll be keeping everything crossed for you x

loopylou1984 · 04/07/2016 16:58

Thanks Stealth!

Trixie - where did you go? Hope you had a lovely time!

stealthbanana · 04/07/2016 16:52

Gratz sammy. PUPO! Keeping everything crossed for you x

loopylou1984 · 04/07/2016 15:54

Thank you everyone. I'm now PUPO with 2 onboard. 1 was 8 cell and 1 7 cell. You can see DH sperm in the picture trying to get in. So there's some alive still 3 and a bit days after the sample was given.

His morphology was 7%. 7%! That's up from 2% in our lowest result. The only thing that's different is that he's gone on to decaf coffee. So was previously having 3 / 4 cups per day of caffeine loaded, but cut out completely now. It doesn't answer why our fertilisation rate was so low (dodgy eggs?) but that'll be a question for the follow up if we need one.

Chilling on the sofa now :). Xx

Brenna24 · 04/07/2016 15:08

Fantastic news Sammy. Everything corssed for you here (except my legs as I am heading back into my fertile window Grin ).

JustTrixie · 04/07/2016 14:17

Went away for the weekend with DH and missed loads. What a rollercoaster Sammy! Hope transfer went well and you feel better.

lucieloos · 04/07/2016 11:46

Brilliant news Sammy, great that you are having them both back and will be pupo soon. Good luck x

Fab news sammy will be thinking of you this afternoon!

Borisisback · 04/07/2016 10:49

Sammy - that's great news on your little embies.

Sorry to hear that you sufferend with the Metronidozol - I had to take that drug on and off for a year when fighting a tropical disease. The drug felt worse than the disease - grim.
