Brilliant thanks Banana, I will look them up and give it a go!

lucie yep I did loads! I did them via Blue Horizon. The thyroid panel included folate and that was a finger prick kit - the others were blood draws at a clinic, they have a network across the UK. Buy online, walk in to get the blood drawn and they emailed the results, with a Dr's comments

lucieloos · 09/07/2016 21:09

Thanks Banana, would be lovely if you were right. Sorry to hear things still aren't happening with your lining I really hope that the patches work but good to know you have other options and you know your lining can get thicker so it's just a matter of finding the right combo. It's so annoying though you get one thing sorted and then it's something else.

I wanted to ask you whether you had used any online labs for blood tests? For some reason I thought maybe you had. I want to get my folate levels checked before doing another transfer and I can't find anywhere locally that does it but have seen a lab which will send you a finger prick test and then analyse the results.

Itsme Woohoo!! Terrific news missus. Hoping the Barry white is playing in the love lab

lucie wouldn't be so sure about the rest of the year plan for cycles - if you do a transfer in your next round they could be cancelled for very happy reasons!

sammy hope you're doing OK lovely

First scan of my dummy FET was on Thu and lining of COURSE hasn't responded. Week of oestrogen tablets and it's only 5.8mm 😓

We've switched over from pills to patches, and going back on Fri for another scan and we'll see how it looks.

If that does the trick, then we'll start the FET for real with patches as soon as AF arrives

If that doesn't work then will have to have a bash at stimming me next cycle - consultant says he's had quite a few women whose lining doesn't respond to artificial oestrogen, but does when it's added in on top of their natural oestrogen.

So low dose stims to get some follies growing & producing oestrogen, potentially adding in patches on top to try and get that lining growing. If it does, we'll trigger & put a frosticle back.

If it doesn't then...don't want to think ahead that far.

We know my lining can thicken up when stimmed - 2nd cycle we got to 8mm with some progynova (when I got pregnant), 3rd cycle it got to 11mm all by itself. So desperately hoping that having some natural oestrogen in the mix will make a difference (if we don't get anywhere with the patches) / if it's done it before hopefully it can do it again

6 perfect embryos but we can't even get off the starting block. Urgh.

Itsme, great news. Enjoy your evening and great you can have some distraction. Good luck for your eggs!

Itsme247 · 09/07/2016 12:11

Haha no I'm definately happy I have an excuse for sex ban, although it has been a shock to the system after doing it 4-5days a week for the last two years!

Yep tomorrow we find out how many we got fertilised.

loopylou1984 · 09/07/2016 12:07

Yay it's me!! Well done.
You're a braver woman than me if you'd even think about sex after EC. I was very happy there was a ban Wink
Enjoy the wedding, glad you feel well enough to go.

You should get a call tomorrow with fertilisation numbers shouldn't you? Xx

beanhunter · 09/07/2016 11:07

Great news itsme. Hope you feel ok. We are also off to a wedding today!

lucieloos · 09/07/2016 11:04

Yay amazing itsme, all sounding very positive. Enjoy the wedding.

12 eggs :) we are doing ICSI so fingers crossed now for a good fertilisation rate.

When they sedation I thought they meant a little woozy but you'll be awake, I was fully asleep and snoring lol.

I feel fine, and got some paracetamols we're off on way to the wedding, early night in a swanky hotel and hubby can't believe we're on sex ban.. Something about making babies and he gets all excitable ha!

Thanks for all your best wishes! Now a nerve wracking 3-5 days..

MrsRen · 09/07/2016 10:18

Hi All,

Hope every one is well and I've got my fingers crossed for all those having treatment at the moment. A lot of it sounds like a different language but I'm slowly figuring it all out!

We had our doctors appointment yesterday and the initial exam for me was fine, I've got a scan appointment coming and I need to go for bloods a few times across my cycle. DH is back next week for a appointment to focus on him.

Hope your all having a lovely weekend x

maplebaby · 09/07/2016 09:58

Good luck itsme!!

lucieloos · 09/07/2016 09:17

Good luck itsme, hope it goes well! Sounds like you are set for a bumper crop of eggs xx

loopylou1984 · 09/07/2016 06:49

Good luck itsme, let us know how you get on. And whether you decide to go to the wedding!

I finally felt back to normal yesterday in terms of discomfort. It took a whole week! Jeez.

Itsme247 · 09/07/2016 06:46

On way to EC, trigger was fine thankfully! Just feels odd not to be doing anymore injections!

I didn't sleep very well which is annoying and I've forgotten my dressing gown grr

Lucie that sounds like an exciting plan!

loopylou1984 · 08/07/2016 22:15

Ah I see, that's fab news! Xx

lucieloos · 08/07/2016 21:41

Yes Sammy they will because it's mini IVF and low stimms so I don't need to have a gap between them as the ovaries aren't so stimulated. If I was having full IVF then they recommend 2-3 months between cycles.

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 08/07/2016 21:24

Wow Lucie, exciting! Will they let you do two back to back fresh cycles? I'm not sure my clinic would. I think I'd do the same if I were in your position. Fx the first round will work and you won't need the other two.

Thanks Maple.
The monitor seems to play up for everyone on their first use. I think it's because it's not used to what's normal for you yet. It should work better next cycle... Although not if your medicating!

Itsme - good luck for tomorrow! What time is EC? Xx

maplebaby · 08/07/2016 16:37

Itsme 15! Woop woop hope the trigger was alright!

Sammy fingers crossed for you - will be on hol on you etd but will be thinking of you!

Lucie ooo! Glad doctor is happy for that to happen! I'm sure DH won't have any objections!

I collected my prescription today for my IUI - AF not due for 2 weeks yet though - I think I'm 1dpo. Tried the clear blue advanced ovulation sticks this month and I had 4 days of low fertility then it skipped the flashing smiley altogether and went straight into a solid one Hmm

I'll be on 50mg of clomid and then have gonasi for the trigger. It says "unlicensed" on the label Confused

lucieloos · 08/07/2016 16:01

Eeekk I'm now thinking of doing a fresh transfer this month if we get any embryos off this mini IVF! I couldn't sleep last night and started thinking about it and have contacted my doctor and he is happy for me to go ahead. It would be a day 3 transfer I imagine as we won't get many eggs with mini (or any other IVF for that matter) I'm quite excited about it. Means I could potentially have a transfer July, Aug (NHS) and Sept (frostie) and in a way feels a little like trying naturally. Haven't even discussed it with DH yet but think he will be happy about it.

Thank you Lucie Smile

lucieloos · 07/07/2016 19:30

Ohh light cramping is good though. Implantation could be anytime from now over the next few days. Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a good feeling about this one xx

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 07/07/2016 19:01

15 itsme! Hooray! Good luck.

Lucie - I'm ok thank you, most of the discomfort has got now, and I'm 6dpo (3dp3dt) now. I'm getting a bit of light cramping which worries me slightly, but trying to stay positive. OTD is the 19th July.

lucieloos · 07/07/2016 17:56

Good luck itsme, all sounding very positive!

Sammy, how are you doing? When is test day?

OP posts:
Itsme247 · 07/07/2016 09:34

Trigger tonight!!

I've got 15 in total chilling out in there, two 14.5's which probably won't catch up. The rest are between 17-20.

Lining holding steady at 13mm.

Sammy sorry to hear the progesterone is a bit of a pain :( keep up with the pantyliners! I would try not to worry about cramping so early on, you've been through a lot!
