Yes it is annoying Sammy, another hoop to jump through but I'm sure you'll get it sorted. From memory the 2-3 weeks for a digi is 200+ but it's a big jump for the 3 weeks which is 2000+ so maybe try that one next week.

Bean, nice to hear from you and good you will be cycling again fairly soon. I think it's only natural to feel pessimistic if you've had a failure but you never know this could be the one.

That's interesting Lucie, another postcode lottery. It's just annoying that here you can still have it on the NHS but it has to be through your GP not your clinic!

Glad your blood tests sorted, def worth the extra money I'd say.

Nice to hear from you bean, I think a failed cycle makes you much more cautious. I for one went in to my first cycle with high hopes of a bfp. This cycle (3rd transfer, 6 attempt!) didn't really think it was possible it could work.

I did a digi this morning and it says pregnant 2-3. I thought it might still say 1-2 after the nurse saying my numbers should be higher so I'm pleased.

beanhunter · 19/07/2016 22:37

Lucie - 3 days for me after stopping progesterone.

Congrats spammy

Waving to everyone else.

So I'm now on my third period since the cycle of crap. We technically would have been allowed to cycle this time but consultant wants a month of the pill first and I didn't feel ready for that last month. So I think I'll start the pill tomorrow and we will prob be cycling in September. Need the pill to quieten down the old cysts then its planned for the same long protocol as I got a good number of eggs but icsi. This will be our second and final shot. I'm a lot more pessimistic and anxious this time round.

lucieloos · 19/07/2016 18:32

Yay for no more blood Sammy hope it stays away now! When I was on NHS the clinic provided me with extra progesterone after my bfp so maybe it varies between health boards. I have to say I've been really impressed with my NHS clinic. They told me today I would be doing two progesterone injections next time which amount to £15 a day! Just as well they provide it until week 12 or I would be broke!!

Just back from my blood test, so much easier and they seem like a really efficient place. Would definitely use them again. They do lots of pregnancy scans and things like that so maybe someday I can go for something nicer. Results should be through in 2 days.

Lucie, for me it was day after stopping first time. Second time I was on injections as well as pessaries and took 3 days. This time AF started before I stopped them but was the same day as the first cycle (equivalent of 15dpo)

loopylou1984 · 19/07/2016 18:17

Thanks stealth - it feels forever away!

Banana - I'm keeping everything crossed for a gabby lining off the back of this! Understand what you mean about wasting the stabbing and the eggs though.

Lucie - you suddenly have loads going on! Eek. Good luck!

Itsme - I still feel no different and technically I'm 4+4 today. It means nothing! Like banana I think I did get implantation pain around 6days after my day 3 transfer. So you'll be 9dpt on Saturday? I think it'll be accurate! When is OTD?

Lucie - when I stopped prog it was about four days before AF arrived.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations. I like bananas 'today I am pregnant'
Waves to chops, lively to hear from you. Hope baby chops is doing well?
I've had one spot of red blood this morning and then just a bit of brown mixed with left over pessary this afternoon.

Talking of pessaries. Did you know that once you have a bfp the NHS won't pay through the clinic for anymore progesterone even though you have to keep taking it until 12 weeks! BUT you can go to your GP to ask for it. What a faff! Xx

lucieloos · 19/07/2016 16:08

Just out of interest for those that have taken progesterone how long after stopping it does your af normally arrive?

chopsface · 19/07/2016 14:57

Just popping on to say a tentative congratulations to sammy x x still think of you often hun x

MrsRen · 19/07/2016 14:09

Excellent news Sammy!

lucieloos · 19/07/2016 12:13

Itsme, how many days past transfer will you be on Saturday? Anything from 8dp5dt should give you an accurate result providing you use a frer. Good luck x

In haste Sammy bloody fantastic. Trust me the anxiety will not end here but please enjoy this moment.

Lucie - great news.

Itsme Mpp and Banana - thinking if you all - no time for longer messages sorry

MPP81 · 19/07/2016 11:15

I've no experience, itsme, but I think if I was in your place I'd be tempted to poas on Saturday Blush Hope you're doing OK!

MPP81 · 19/07/2016 11:13

Sammy that's fantastic! I'm sure it'll feel like ages while you're waiting for your scan but it'll be here before you know it.

Good luck with this cycle Banana!

Glad the NHS appointment went well Lucie :)

waves to Stealth and Trixie

bananafish81 · 19/07/2016 11:08

Itsme I felt NO different at all. Except for a bit of cramping. Which turned out to be mythical implantation cramping!! Other than that I had absolutely zero symptoms whatsoever xx

Itsme247 · 19/07/2016 11:05

I feel no different, no sore boobs and aside from some cramping on and off- nothing! I don't have high hopes. Test date 27th July but do you think a sneaky test on Saturday might be late enough?

JustTrixie · 19/07/2016 10:39

I'll make sure I check in more often Lucie Smile Glad your NHS appointment went well.

So pleased to read that your hcg has doubled Sammy, roll on the 9th August!

Not much longer for you Itsme FX.

Brilliant that the clinic are able to fit you in tomorrow MPP hopefully all is ok but good to know you have the back up of a freeze all cycle.

Good luck for your FET Banana, hope the Gonal-f does the trick with your lining.

Have a lovely holiday Star

lucieloos · 19/07/2016 10:31

That's good Sammy i hope things go a bit more smoothly now.

Just come out of my NHS appt. Went really well, they were on time, the nurse was lovely and we got all the forms filled in super quick. We can start whenever we want so I suggested around 19th August as my next af although it was a complete guess as don't know what will happen with this round yet. They are putting me on quite a high dose of Gonal either 350 or 450 I can't remember which seems a lot especially as I'm going for quality over quantity now in Czech but will see what happens. It feels good to have options. Blood test tonight now to see if I'm ok for transfers. It's all go!

bananafish81 · 19/07/2016 10:31

sammy that's brilliant!! Fingers crossed. The 3ww is possibly even worse than the 2ww. I kept getting out the FRER to remind myself that 'today I am pregnant'. Still freaked out about scanxiety obvs!! Hope the time flies by and 9th will be here before you know it

itsme hope you are doing OK

lucie hurrah!! And she's off!!

AFM just plodding on. Start Cetrotide tomorrow, bloods and scan on Fri (doesn't need such close monitoring as we're not trying to get those eggs perfectly cooked. Seems such a waste!!) 75iu seems like such a piddly dose I'm worried nothing is going in! Have to keep checking the dial on the Gonal-F has reset to zero just to be sure Confused

Itsme247 · 19/07/2016 09:42

Sammy!! Yes!! So happy for you, and I hope this gives you the reassurance xx

stealthbanana · 19/07/2016 09:37

Good news sammy. 9 August seems so far away! Hang in there. These first few weeks are just the worst.

lucie exciting that you're cycling again, and double excitement that you'll have something put back! Sorry the blood tests have been difficult.

mpp hope everything comes back clear and you can get on with it!

On phone so to everyone else. Hope all's well.

loopylou1984 · 19/07/2016 09:34

No she didn't suggest another blood test, although I'm sure I could have one if I wanted. It has doubled at least so that's good. Xx

lucieloos · 19/07/2016 09:19

Aww Sammy, will you have another beta now as its rising slowly or do you have to wait until the scan? At least it hasn't gone down. Hang in there lovely.

Just at hospital now waiting for NHS appt.

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 19/07/2016 09:02

HCG is now 205.4
The nurse said they would have liked it to be a bit higher but at least it's gone up. I have a scan booked for 9th August.

She said congratulations... I still can't let myself believe this might happen. X
