Sorry Nim, good luck this month

SuchaJem · 24/06/2016 08:46

Hi girls

Feeling really sick and anxious over the referendum decision. I can't believe my eyes and ears today and just so sad SadSadSad

I'm cd 9 today and wanted to focus on avoiding stress this month so trying to distract myself from the free fall the country seems to be in and feel calm.

We have DTD days 4 and 8 and planning a lot more in the week ahead.

nim so sorry it wasn't your month, hope you are alright. Enjoy your prosecco and better luck next month xx

Nimisha · 24/06/2016 08:41

Hi all. CD 1Star

Onwards and upwards. I'm drinking prosecco tonight and trying to forget about it. My Dh is being put on vitamin c and I'm going to buy some Brazil nuts this month.

Need to look into ways of improving my lp. Bit pissed off as I was really hopeful for this month.Angry

Tee4me · 23/06/2016 22:33

CD6Star
Hey everybody! Looks like I've missed alot of chat, wasn't getting email notifications! So DH & I are both 33, together 12 years, married for 9. One DS who was conceived cycle 3. This is now cycle 8 (we conceived cycle 3 again, but unfortunately miscarried at 5 weeks).
Radders I hate testing early, but yes you mentioned a while ago about testing early, just so you're aware of any further chemicals/early mcs, and that sounds very logical to me. I think I'll start testing early for that reason now. Think I'll keep up temping to, as if it's dropping really early, I might have a progesterone issue. Just think I need to gather facts in case I'll need to go back to docs if no success by say cycle 10.
Jodders this is sounding so promising!!! Really hope AF stays away!!!
Twins skipping a generation is a total myth, as parney rightly said, non- identical twins (of which I am one!) can be inherited on the female side. My maternal grandma and mum both had non-identical twins, suggesting they are poly-ovulaters. Identical twins on the other hand are completely down to chance. xx

Jodders · 23/06/2016 22:06

I'm holding off girls. I would much rather see AF than a BFN. I have a digital at home waiting for my return on 29th!

Parney · 23/06/2016 21:32

No they made a mistake in calling me for a scan a few weeks ago and this is now used as dating scan. In Ireland, so no scan until week 20 now! Midwife appointment in over a week, letter says it's a 16 week thing but I'll be just over 14. I'm 12+4, and experiencing a lot of CM this week, which is in line with transition to tremester 2 apparently. Not going to find out, but like you I've reason to believe it's a boy, if the speedy swimmer idea is true!! Look forward to hearing what you're having! Dating scan was in line with OPK and LMP, New Year's Day!
Imagine next year, this group could be full of baby boys due to all the conga sessions Hmm I know Tee is gently swaying pink, so fingers crossed we at least get one girl!
Jod I think a test is in order, I've checked and 'embarazada' is the word you look for if you buy a Spanish digi Wink

raddersmrs · 23/06/2016 20:50

Oh sorry did you mean you're back for your 12 week scan in just over a week??

raddersmrs · 23/06/2016 20:48

Parney how far gone are you now? Is there a reason they're seeing you again? I can't remember sorry.

Yea 5 weeks based on LMP. Estimated due date is 24th February. What is yours again? Around 27th December is it?

Are you going to find out what you're having?
I always thought I wouldn't but I am going to. I have it in my head it's a boy just because of dtd right round ovulation. Be interesting to see...

Parney · 23/06/2016 20:21

Radders lovely you hit a milestone tomorrow! Is that based on LMP? Did you work out an EDD? Apps? I would have loved twins! Mum's genes (or ability to release more than one egg) are all that matters when it comes to non-identicals! So it being on your side as well is good!
Back in just over a week, won't be scanned again until later. I'm excited and nervous!

Footprints1 · 23/06/2016 20:14

I did have a bit of white creamy cm day before AF, but didn't feel nauseous or crampy. Still sounds promising. Please Af stay away for u.

Parney · 23/06/2016 20:12

I'd been on the pill for 9 years, came off earlier this year. BFP in cycle 3 (had avoided cycle 1) first month identifying fertile period properly, using OPKs. Even at that our dtd hadn't been too hectic as I'd been trusting my ovia app saying fertile week was the following week! Dtd CD 6, 13, 14 the rest was later in the tww. Things I did differently cycle 3: ate tonnes of Brazil nuts, gave up alcohol and relaxed! As a rule I never let the swimmers get older than ten days!

raddersmrs · 23/06/2016 20:04

I'm not against twins of course! Would be hard work though. My mums mum was a twin and my OH mum is a twin. Think it's a myth that it skips a generation etc though
We shall see!

Jod all the signs sound good! I have had creamy before AF before tbh but you're other symptoms sound good too.

Ps we were trying for four months. Fell pregnant twice in the four months. So think really we must be pretty fertile between us for that to happen! I thought it was take longer.

Tee hope everything is ok with you

Parney good to hear from you. I think they can do abdominal at 7 weeks but either way I'm happy as long as I get to see my little bean!
When is your 12 week scan??

5 weeks tomorrow - feel like I have reached my first milestone getting to 5 weeks

ps2304 · 23/06/2016 19:48

Jodders you sound pregnant!! Not tempted to get a test on holiday?! Don't know how you are being so patient!

Jodders · 23/06/2016 18:42

I feel pregnant with DC1 on the pill and with DC2 it was one time! Just one time that month as we were both busy although we weren't on Birth control as planning to start TTC.
I would like twins I think although two close together in age is hard work.

Today I have had quite a bit of creamy discharge - lumps of it. Do you guys get this before your period? I have mild cramping too. It's not too bad just mild. And have felt nauseous on and off.

ps2304 · 23/06/2016 17:43

For the graduates, how many cycles did it take you and what was your dtd pattern?

Parney · 23/06/2016 17:41

Transvaginal not team BlushConfused

Footprints! I don't think I've wished you luck with this exciting new cycle! Twins would be amazing.

Parney · 23/06/2016 17:37

PS we're also together ten years and almost married one! I'm 26, he's 27.
Jod, all this with the potential implantation bleed! Seems promising! Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
Yes Radders I'm absolutely exhausted!!!!! I'd say your excited about the seven week scan! I'd been told that pre 8 weeks most scans are teams vaginal, not sure how reliable this information is. My scan at 9 weeks was abdominal and had good visibility. Hopefully you're the same! Glad all progressing well.
Welcome Pepper!
Hi Mimi, baby wreaking havoc on my usually clear skin! Other than that we're good!
Hi everyone else!

Footprints1 · 23/06/2016 17:34

Jem- yes it took a year and 2 months for first ds and second ds came along without trying almost first cycle after period returned! Had loads of tests with the first as thought it wouldn't happen, got results back to say all ok and was unexplained infertility. 2 weeks after letter I was due period which didn't come. Think was stress mainly! And I didn't try.. Just got totally wasted and then boom baby! :)

Jodders- hurry back unless you could ask in Spanish for a test?! Any AF signs today?

Ooh Rads, would u like twins? I would, but think I wouldn't cope v well. 2 boys close in age feels like twins already. If I did, mr footprints will be getting the snip snip.

SuchaJem · 23/06/2016 16:57

Jodders you are soooooo preggers Smile

I'm 32, hubby is 31. We've been together ten years, married one year and are trying for baby no. 1.
