Thought I would create a fresh thread as the original had been going since Feb. This is for anyone TTC #1, a bit of moral support as we all attempt to embark on the scary journey that is parenthood! Join us if you are a mix of terrified and excited, don't really know what you're doing yet and hadn't heard of CM before you started reading Mumsnet!!

It sucks eva there's nothing wrong about that lol. I don't feel like it's real. I'm worried I'm going to test again in a few days and it'll be negative. Hysterical pregnancy or something.

You're temps are looking really good though and you've got a good few more days yet to see how you get on. Just try to ignore the midnight google searches. They lie!

How's AF treating you jj? Is she being polite at least?

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 20:29

Lol busy @ the puking! Ahh that's really interesting to know about testing, someone else said they didn't get BFP til 3 days after AF was due. I just want a definite answer, I'm so sick of thinking about it!! If I know AF is coming I need to stock up on wine and chocolateWineChocolate

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 20:23

Lol I know he's one of those types who needs to see it to believe it and be excited so I think he's going to be processing for 9 months and only be excited when it's puking on him lol

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 20:21

Haha bless him! I do think it must be weird for the guys to be told.. must be a bit more surreal when they're not the one who has done the test especially if they don't know you've done one!

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 19:45

He came in with the shopping and was chatting and I just said look got something for you and showed him the test. He went a bit blank and said what's that. I said it's a pregnancy test idiot and he went "oh well done" lol and sort of fiddled and dropped everything on the side then he seemed to click lol.

I will forever taunt him with "well done" lol!

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 19:41

How was dh busy? How did you tell him?

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 19:39

If you get bfn eva don't give up until AF turns up or until the bfp does. I did cheapies until I got a squinter then the expensive ones. Might have got an earlier result on a frer but didn't want to spend a lot on it.

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 19:34

I was 18dpo! And was well and truly giving up as everywhere I read said you'd know before then!

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 18:41

Either Saturday or Sunday marmite - can't test on a work day in case it's a BFP ha! Hopefully I'll manage to hold out til Sunday, that'll be 13dpo and should give me an answer either way.
busy how many dpo do you reckon you were today?

marmitecheesetoast · 11/08/2016 18:17

Ooh congrats busy!!

When are you going to test eve? Fx for you!!

Blissfulignorance · 11/08/2016 17:35

Massive congrats busy

Sorry about AF jj

Fx everyone else!

Piehunter · 11/08/2016 15:43

Congrats busy :D

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 13:39

Thanks, I hope so, I have everything crossed

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 13:04

Eva those temps look good!! I had no pg symptoms at all, only light cramps like af ones so don't worry, could still be a BFP! And remember so many people don't even realise they're pregnant until further on!

Thanks busy, yes just glad to know what's going on again and can plan again now (planning dtd, how sexy lol). Bless you waiting!

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 12:59

I'm at home I only work term time so at home most of the summer so just sat waiting for hubby to get home at half 4. I know they were all negative! Wtf. I've got past excited freaked out stage and gone straight to it's only 2 weeks I can't count on anything yet. Oh god. I'm going to be a lunatic.

Those temps look great eva better than mine did so don't count yourself out. The only thing I've had which is odd is the weird twinning heavy feeling for the last two days. Everything else I have pretty much every month.

jj sucks that AF turned up but at least your cycle might be getting back to normal?

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 12:54

busy are you at work or home? I couldn't test on a work day I wouldn't be able to concentrate if BFP! All those opks which were negative - shows what they know haha!!Grin

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 12:51

Sorry for AF jj Flowers
I'm cd27, 10dpo and had another temp rise this morning but just don't feel pg so still not optimistic.

Aaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhh congratulations!!!!!!!

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 12:38

Haha that's what I was like too! Totally get the mixed emotions, it's a shock to see it there in front of you! I didn't stop shaking for about an hour! So happy for you 😁. I tested on a day I had booked off work and ended up going to his work to tell him! When will you see him?

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 12:37

busy how do you feel? Any symptoms except the cramps?

Af got me this morning... totally unexpected this early. Cd27 and had no symptoms yesterday at all so totally out the blue. On the plus side better to have a short cycle than a long one and at least I can get back to trying properly now and will know where I am with cycle again.

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 12:36

Thanks. I'm freaking out. Alternating between grinning and scared crapless. I want to tell someone but can't tell dh over the phone and don't want to tell someone before him.

Jjspoon · 11/08/2016 12:33

Ahhhh busy so happy for you!!!! Amazing!!!

Eva30 · 11/08/2016 12:22

busy that's amazing!!! Congratulations!!!

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 11:21

Holy shit. Shaking. Sorry for my language but holt shit.

BusyNothings · 11/08/2016 11:20

I think that's pretty conclusive!
