Relaxed TTC June/July/Beyond

Sooz I'm 33 & the doctor told me I could go back towards the end of the year for tests if nothing happened. He was so nice, he said there are some simple tests they can do to put ur mind at rest that everything is fine & he said for most people when they start doing tests it just happens naturally. FX for you.

I think I'm out too Eva. Temps taken a dive this morning even though I woke up sweating. Plus I checked back against my symptoms and I was experiencing loads by now when I was pregnant so, nope.

I am not worried because really a September + BFP would be perfect for us. I'm not going to turn it down if it happens next month though :)

I caved and tested, BFN. On to cycle 4
I wasn't too hopeful tbh so don't feel as down as last month. Come on August egg you can do it...

Af due Sat for me too, not testing because I fully expect af. If it doesn't happen this month I'm off to the docs, I'll be 35soon

Eva I'm going to test on Sunday if I make it that far, as then I'll be 2 days late.

Yeah, weirdly my temps have been more consistent this month than usual, but no rise indicated on the chart. Just didn't get it together to even try this month. My mum got pregnant on the first try and her mum had 10 kids. I think I naively thought my husband would just have to wink at me and I'd be pregnant.

Starmist that sounds really promising! Fx! Any plans to test?
sorry dynia I thought I had my temps sussed but they've been all over the place this month, but strangely the second half of the chart/ luteal phase, has been almost identical to that phase last month - which is why I'm pretty sure this isn't my month.

Ok I need to share this... if we assume my cycle is now 40 days, when I said I'd had some pale blood after DTD it would have been 2 days prior to when I would have ovulated (according to my app, so close). Then last night (8 days after ovulation according to app) I had this stabbing sensation low down in my tummy on my left hand side. It was on & off for about half an hour, sometimes fairly painful. Today & yesterday I've had a bit of v pale brown spotting. I assumed it was the start of AF but when she starts I only get a bit of pale brown as a warning, certainly not this long. Starting to wonder if the blood was because we DTD at time of ovulation (sure I've read that can happen) & what I'm experiencing now is implantation. Probably now I've posted this, it'll be Sod's law that AF will get me!

Out again this month, missed what I assume (via CM and OPKs) was the fertile window. But once again, I've broken fertility friend as my temperature has been steady all month.

Had CM, OPKs, and tender breasts which indicate ovulation but no raise in temperature until day 22 and now back down again (day 27). I've ordered a more sensitive thermometer, perhaps I got a dud.

Same here Eva but last time I had a 12 day luteal phase so might actually be due on Thursday. Well Thu or Sat, makes not much difference! I will test on Sunday most likely if no AF by then. I don't see DH letting me go much longer! Then again, no shops open on Sunday here, so I might just drive him nuts with the crappy cheap unclear tests I have two left of.

All sounds good, glad no AFs have shown! I'm 9dpo, AF due Saturday. I'm really not optimistic so think I'm going to wait for AF and only test if late. Good luck for the coming week

Nothing of substance. 9dpo and my temps are going up but that could be because I drank alcohol last night (though it should have left my body by now) and it's really hot here. My outdoor thermometer is has hit a new high at 43 degrees! It's not really that hot, it's just because the sensor is in direct sunlight, but it's in the thirties for sure.

I'm only testing when late because it stresses DH out and I can get a bit obsessive over it and I need to focus on other things. I reckon I'll have a fairly good idea based on symptoms + missing period + temps actually so not much need to test until it gets to the point I need to get some kind of medical care.

I do test if I want to drink past about 10dpo.

Eva30 - still having occasional cramping and flutterings in my stomach (CF is still stretchy) but have 3 days until AF so am going try to hold off taking a test until middle of the week.

Hi Eva I'm on cycle day 35 & no sign of AF. Not tested yet, don't know how I haven't, probably the thought of getting another BFN that stops me. Really hope that 40 day cycles aren't going to be my new norm

Hey bertie good luck with getting the promotion. I was thinking of looking for a new job but where I am has good mat leave (although quite stressful!). Sorry about the mc I know what you mean about being baby bombed - when I first hear someone announce their pregnancy my stomach does a strange thing (pangs of jealously probably!) but within a couple of days the feeling goes and then I can genuinely feel happy for them. Our turn will come

I think I'm going to jump on this thread if OK with you ladies. I am on the July bus but we're taking a bit of a relaxed approach to TTC these two months as I'm concentrating on getting a promotion at work first.

I am still charting though :) I think I finally ovulated yesterday, it took forever this month. So I am CD22 but 1dpo (probably.)

I was on the last relaxed thread for mar/apr/may but unfortunately miscarried in April :( Been babybombed loads this last week. One friend due with twins right when my lost one would have been due and then my ex has had another baby and nobody told me until there are pictures splashed all over facebook! Typical! I don't care what he's getting up to but that's my DS's half sibling. You know? Ugh it's just stupid and complicated.

I'm 6dpo and have had sore boobs - mainly on the sides. I googled and it said this is common after ov apparently? No other signs so expecting AF on 16th July.
My chart is all over the place. I was on hol the first week so was getting up at all different times. I don't feel like it tells me anything until about cd13!

I'm wondering what AF will do this month. Based on my other cycles I was due yesterday or it'll be today (30/31 days) but last months cycle was randomly 40 days so who know what she'll do this month. Feels like the days are really dragging argh!

Aw thank you Lemon :) Still no AF here. I've had some bizarre pains and cramps (not like AF cramps). It's like a numbness in my hips and pulling/stretching pains. For the last week at least I've had waves of nausea and decreased appetite. Testing again on Friday eek!
