I think AF is coming for me too. Been spotting today but no concrete arrival yet.

Good luck Alexia

love2003 · 16/07/2016 11:43

Yeah I will get hpt for Tom but thinking I'll be joining u in new cycle Eva SadFlowers

AlexiaB · 16/07/2016 11:07

Eva I'm so sorry hunSadFlowers. Sending you a massive virtual hug. Treat yourself to something nice today.

I'm still in limbo, going to get to the doctor's next week. Cd49 and still no AF. I got my best line yet yesterday which hasn't faded like before. It's still not very dark so I'm hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.

Hi love, whatever the results I'd say it was inconclusive using OPK. Hope you get your BFP tomorrow, fx.
AF got me today.

love2003 · 16/07/2016 08:39

Thank you sonnet...
After feeling optimistic this morning, I'm now feeling u might be right about AF. If no AF by Tom morning I will test with hpt.

Sonnet18 · 16/07/2016 07:48

No idea if this is true or not but I heard that you can get LH surge just before AF....similarly I heard that opks can detect small amounts of pregnancy hormone. If it is the pregnancy hormone that it is detecting then a hpt would pick it up too. Good luck! If it were me and I thought I was pregnant then I would take a hpt to see!

love2003 · 16/07/2016 06:56

Hi all
I am a regular 'lurker' - hope regular posters don't mind me butting in!....
Does anyone have any opinions on using opk's as hpts? AF due tomorrow and decided to use an opk today, only to decide whether I need to even bother buying some more hpts as none at home. Opk has come up a really strong positive this morning with FMU?!..... Hmm

Adventuregame · 14/07/2016 13:57

Thanks Bertie - I'll see what happens.

BertieBotts · 14/07/2016 13:14

AF is due here today but hasn't shown Hmm

BertieBotts · 14/07/2016 13:14

Sometimes you can have an LH surge but not ovulate. Usually in this case your body will try to ovulate again a week or two later. Sometimes you'll just have a period as normal and it will try again next cycle.

Adventuregame · 14/07/2016 08:50

Delurking to post something if that's ok with the regulars ?
I use the Clearblue monitor and normally have 2/3 days of 'high' before the 'peak'. This time it's been on 'high' for a week so far with no 'peak' yet - what's going on ? Starting to think I'm just too old ?

Starmist · 13/07/2016 13:17

Thanks Alexia
Sorry AF got you too Jenny xx

jennymac31 · 13/07/2016 12:44

AF arrived on cue but still a little bit gutted. On the plus side, I can have a few drinks at my friends hen do next weekend. Her wedding is at the end of August so it may not be a bad thing if I fall pregnant after then. Will be going on holiday in September so am hoping I get lucky then. Hope you're all well and am keeping fingers crossed that we get some more bfps soon xx

AlexiaB · 13/07/2016 12:28

Oh I'm so sorry the witch got you StarmistSadFlowers I completely understand how you feel. Very small positives but you can also enjoy some Wine on your holiday. Be kind to yourself today. Big hugs xx

Starmist · 13/07/2016 11:46

AF has arrived Sad it's so annoying. It's like she's messing with me, showing me these signs, getting me to look at dates & feel excited this could be the month & then bam she shows up & ruins it. Someone at work has announced they are pregnant today too. I'm trying to look on the positive side though, we are going on holiday in August & so I guess I don't need to worry that I might feel sick whilst we are away or worry about the food I'll be eating etc. Not that I was really worried about that but I'm trying to pretend it's a thing to make me feel better!

AlexiaB · 13/07/2016 11:07

Thanks Star and Sooz. I will keep you updated. Still no AF here!

How's everything with you guys?

SoozC · 12/07/2016 19:47

Don't give up, Alexia. I have everything crossed for you for all to be okay.

Starmist · 12/07/2016 16:52

Alexia you should go, they could do tests & tell you everything is fine & then you can take some reassurance from that. Even if they do discover something there is so much they can do these days. I have a close friend who went through tests, she was told her DH had a low count & she had an abnormally shaped womb, they have a beautiful baby boy now. Get yourself registered & make that appointment. Sending you a hug xx

AlexiaB · 12/07/2016 16:16

No I haven't yet. I know I should have! I kind of have a Dr phobia and a fear of being told I'm infertile. There have definitely been a few months we've messed up the FW but I'm finally plucking up the courage to go next week. I'm not even registered in my new areaBlush (very bad I know!). Thank you for your kind words though. It's nice to have lovely people like you to talk to who are going through similar struggles xx

Eva30 · 12/07/2016 15:16

Oh alexia you are having it tough FlowersFlowers yes definitely go see dr and get everything off your chest. Have you already seen dr due to 16th cycle? They should definitely be able to help now (referral, meds etc).

Starmist · 12/07/2016 13:54

I'm so sorry Alexia Flowers definitely go to see your doctor, can't you go this week? I know it's hard, it takes over everything xx

AlexiaB · 12/07/2016 12:20

Yes that's what I thought Eva. Should have known I'd never be that lucky! I've had mixed results. Potentially a CP but I'm going to have to go to the Dr next week if AF doesn't show soon. I should be getting solid BFPs now since I'm 20-23dpo.

Thorpe Park sounds like a great idea! I need to start living my life again. I'm totally consumed by this crap. Heading into my 16th cycle and feel like quittingSad

Eva30 · 12/07/2016 11:52

Ps. alexia hope you're ok. Dr should be able to do blood test to find out what's going on

Eva30 · 12/07/2016 11:41

Huh alexia I thought you got your BFP? Have you been to see Dr?
bertie glad you're feeling ok about it too.
I'm going to Thorpe Park in a couple of weeks as a treat after getting a BFN, someone suggested it and I think it's a great idea Smile

AlexiaB · 12/07/2016 11:28

Thought I'd pop back in and say I think I'm out because I'm now getting BFNs, even though AF is still MIA. Cd45 and cycle 15Sad Totally fed up! I really hope you ladies get some good news this month xx
