Hi all, congrats on the recent bfps!

I've been busy with my summer holiday and trying to relax about the whole ttc thing. DP is being so sweet. Just had my fw, I'm due to test on the 12th/13th - not sure if I o'd Fri or Sat as I haven't been temping this cycle. Managed to bd Thurs and today so not hopeful again. We did actually bd Fri and Sat too but DP didn't finish, as it were. sigh

Jenny, I turn 35 on Friday and DP is 47, so I'll be going to docs when af next arrives as we've been trying 6 months now. So I know exactly how you feel! hugs

Sonnet18 · 31/07/2016 20:24

Aw, I'm sorry you're feeling a bit de-motivated. I know it can be irritating when people say "don't worry, don't be negative etc". If that's how feel, then that is how you feel. You're right; see how you feel after the holiday and take it from there x

BertieBotts · 31/07/2016 19:46

Ah that doesn't sound negative Jenny - progress is progress and if they can find a problem to fix apparently it's fairly common that they can actually fix it, or at least increase the chances.

We will be hitting 6 months at the end of September as well. But we are under 30 so will probably leave it and go to docs if nothing has happened by the end of the year.

jennymac31 · 31/07/2016 19:40

Sonnet18 - I know 6 months isn't long and it took me that length of time to fall pregnant with my daughter but I'm 36 now and a lot heavier than I was when I fell pregnant last time. Have lost all motivation to lose weight, which I had managed to do prior to falling pregnant last time, so am just gonna see how things go until we go on holiday in September and decide what we're going to do when we come back and I'm not pregnant by that time.

Sonnet18 · 31/07/2016 18:00

6 months isn't that long- it may feel it but it's pretty average I think. Unless you have irregular periods or other unusual symptoms, you'll be fine! I know it can be hard but don't give up! It'll happen X

jennymac31 · 31/07/2016 17:02

Apologies for the pessimistic post.

jennymac31 · 31/07/2016 17:02

Eva - I'm due to a test on 12th August as well but I'm not optimistic. Healthy eating etc has gone out the window the last couple of weeks and am losing motivation with ttcing. Am planning on going on holiday in September so if I'm not pregnant by the time I return (which would have been 6 months ttcing) then I'm gonna book an appointment with the doctors and possibly decide what to do next.

BertieBotts · 31/07/2016 11:05

I think I'm ovulating soon - hard to tell. Have had fertile CM since I came off my period this month Confused Last month I ovulated later though so it would fit if I ovulate earlier this month as that's what my body seems to do.

Still being relaxed about things as I am trying to concentrate on learning to drive. But I spent a looong time on Friday cuddling other people's babies and inhaling!

Eva30 · 31/07/2016 08:41

Hi all. Got static smiley today, cd16. jenny when is your test date, I'll be testing about 12th August.

jennymac31 · 30/07/2016 21:43

Am in my fertile week so been doing the baby dance quite a bit hoping that this will be the month I get a bfp! Am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone xx

Usernamegone · 30/07/2016 16:07

Cycle seems to have gone back to normal after coming off the pill, which is a good sign. Also, where I work has just introduced enhanced mat pay! Woo hoo!

Sonnet18 · 30/07/2016 12:04

How is everyone getting on?

MoosMummy11 · 26/07/2016 15:19

Hi all, sorry haven't updated anyone in a while. Well I'm on CD 35 of a usual 28 day cycle... Nothing but negative tests. However today I'm kind of spotting, but nothing on a pad literally only there when I wipe. Confused as hell as was adamant this was going to be my month. Let's see if AF properly shows her face. Congratulations to everyone who has had their BFP x

Starmist · 22/07/2016 17:29

Hi jobrum Smile fingers crossed it won't take too long for you. Sending you lots of baby dust.

I've just started tracking my CM. Wow. Grim! I'm not planning on doing anything else at this stage except trying to DTD every other day. Will seriously consider opk's if still had no luck in another couple of months.

jobrum · 22/07/2016 16:21

Sorry, I forgot to say hello I'd like to join! Smile

Ttc #2

Cycle…

Well, my periods returned last November and I’ve been trying to avoid sex at the times in my cycle when I think I might be ovulating. My dh is keen about a second and very relaxed a few months ago when I was a few days late and told him after I came on that I was worried I might be pregnant. Neither of us want just one child and we both agree that ‘getting it over with’ in a short space of time is the way to go! My ‘natural family planning’ is though really, really crap! I haven’t been trying hard at all the last couple of months to avoid having sex around ovulation. Last month I had odd cramps about a week after ov’ing and spotting and the only other time I remember this is when I was pregnant. I was very upset when my period arrived – just as I went to the bathroom to poas that I’d purchased only half an hour earlier!

I had a retained placenta that had to be manually removed and about 9 months after giving birth I had some scar tissue removed from my uterus (it was a couple of months after this that my period returned) so I am a little bit concerned that this might be a problem and stupidly googled it. I conceived our first within a month of stopping the pill. I had a bit of a wobble a week ago when I found out a friend who is on my facebook (wish each other happy birthday etc) is off on maternity leave. I was so, so jealous and had a little cry and realised I really do want a second child! But I will continue how I am: no ovulation tests, no manically timing anything, maybe just upping the amount of when I think I am ovulating! So hello all!

Starmist · 21/07/2016 22:07

How's everyone doing?
Alexia have you managed to see your doctor?

love2003 · 18/07/2016 08:12

Did a clear blue digital this morning which confirmed it, seems a bit more real seeing it in writing! My dh didn't trust the line yesterday so can't wait till he gets home today.
Thanks all - sending baby dust to you all Flowers

Eva30 · 17/07/2016 20:06

Congratulations love, great line!

Starmist · 17/07/2016 14:31

Congratulations love!!!

Sonnet18 · 17/07/2016 12:26

I had no real symptoms with my baby until about 6 weeks but really felt like AF was on its way...think it's just all the stretching and implanting etc that's going on! No need to re-test- you're pregnant! Just enjoy it now!

love2003 · 17/07/2016 11:56

Wow thank you ladies!! I'm just in a bit of shock and confused as I have had no symptoms (aside from insane tiredness a few days but I put that down to travelling last weekend).... And really feel like AF is on its way. I have a clear blue digital that I will try tomorrow...
Xx

AlexiaB · 17/07/2016 11:34

That's definitely a BFP, congrats! It puts my line to shame lol.

Thanks Bertie

Sonnet18 · 17/07/2016 09:59

Easily a positive! Congrats!

love2003 · 17/07/2016 09:18

So I did an asda hpt with FMU this morning.... There is definitely a line.... What's anyone's thoughts - is it a bfp or is it an evaporation line?!! Don't want to get my hopes up!!
