6dpo is probably too early for any real 'symptom,' but who knows? I never had it, though.

Oh I'm sorry alexia keep your chin up xx
rausten I'd have caved and tested by now!
Cd12 for me, dtd this morning and then did that thing will legs in the air against the wall like an actual crazy person (face in palms)!
Hi buttontum I have no idea as ttc#1 but I have heard about the metallic taste early on

ButtonTum · 29/05/2016 10:51

Hi all
Congrats Theresa on the BFP! Hope this is a lucky thread!
I'm back again from the last thread having missed the April busSad
I think I'm about 6 dpo and have had a strong metallic taste in my mouth. Have googled and this is a pregnancy symptom it seems, but would have thought in still too early for this. Anyone else had the same?

rausten · 29/05/2016 09:17

Sorry for the girls who AF paid a visit to. I'm still waiting CD31 expected AF yesterday so she still has time to get me! Going to wait till wednesday I think to test again, if I can stand the torture that long lol xx

AlexiaB · 29/05/2016 08:21

Big ugly af showed up early this morning :( ugh, on to next month I guess!

Eva30 · 28/05/2016 21:18

Everything crossed for you alexia!

Sienna9522 · 28/05/2016 19:31

Thanks Wispa, Eva and Alexia. Ovulation has varied from CD13 to CD16 in the past 3 months for me then.

Alexia Fx it's IB and you get your BFP x

AlexiaB · 28/05/2016 18:25

Yes I remember you saying wispa. I'm keeping an open mind. It's just weird that I spotted 2 weeks ago as well (never have before). I'm going to test in the morning if no af.

Eva Yes, usually I have 34-38 cycles but they're not reliable.

wispaxmas · 28/05/2016 18:04

sienna, it means you'll ovulate 12-48 hours later, so could be CD13-15.

OP posts:
wispaxmas · 28/05/2016 18:03

alexia, I had spotting like that the day before my bfp. Not to get your hopes up high or anything as I've had it pre-AF, too, but it's possibly nothing!

OP posts:
Eva30 · 28/05/2016 18:02

sienna it will happen in the next 24-48 hours because the test detect the rise in hormone just before ov.
alexia could it be implantation bleeding? Do you have long cycles?
Welcome lauren & october

Mrscarrington · 28/05/2016 17:13

hello
Late to the post, but hoping to join in?!

Lauren
Age:29
Cycle #5
Ttc baby #1
Came off the pill at Christmas, have had regular 28 day periods, until this one which arrived yesterday- two weeks late?!
We started off relaxed....but I've just caved and bought some ovulation kits🙈. Wishing everyone good luck 🍀 x

AlexiaB · 28/05/2016 16:58

Thank you Sienna. It's been about 3 hours since I noticed spotting. I've checked hourly since then and there's practically nothing now when I wipe. I'm not really sure what to think? I've gone from crying my eyes out to being confused/hopeful. This ttc stuff is certainly challenging!

I think it means you're ovulating very soon so BD lots and good luck x

Welcome OctoberFlowers!

OctoberFlowers · 28/05/2016 16:44

Hey ladies, can I join?

Month #1 of TTC after implant removal. Not had a period yet but OPK are showing positive yesterday and the day before so hopeful ovulation is happening.

This would be DC3 for me, DC1 for DP. I got pregnant in the first month with the first two but older now, heavier and different partner so a little anxious!

Sienna9522 · 28/05/2016 15:51

Positive OPK on CD13, anyone know when ovulation will occur?

Sienna9522 · 28/05/2016 15:18

So sorry Alexia, I think we've all had those feelings. You will get there, it's stressful this TTC stuff but onwards and upwards and hopefully a successful next cycle for you, if AF does arrive this time x

AlexiaB · 28/05/2016 14:11

Cd33 and I think af has arrived. It's only spotting right now but I have a bad feeling. It wasn't due for another couple days. I feel shit I just don't think I can have a baby :'(

AlexiaB · 28/05/2016 12:29

I agree with the others EJ. Don't wait because you don't know how long it'll take to get your BFP. I'm 14/15 months down the road and wish I'd never waited until we were 'set'.

jennymac31 · 28/05/2016 12:19

EJ - I agree with Eva30. Think you should just crack on with ttc, as you don't know how long it will take to get bfp (hopefully not very long at all). Plus doing the baby dance will hopefully alleviate any stress from the renovation work (corny as that might sound)!

Eva30 · 28/05/2016 11:28

fx rausten
EJ We moved into our 'project house' 2 weeks ago but still TTC as I know it could take a while. It's very stressful, bathroom just finished so at least we can wash nowGrin I'm not sure if I'll ov with all the stress the past couple of weeks but hope so. I'd just get cracking if I were you, the house will still get done and you'd have 9 months to get it finishedSmile

rausten · 28/05/2016 10:50

Hello all. I'm on 11dpo atm just got a bfn. AF due today. We shall see. Not over till AF shows her ugly face xxx

EJ1986 · 28/05/2016 10:04

Hi all. Im just lurking in the background at the moment, watching what happening and gleaning advice. Im hoping to come off the pill after June to ttc #1. I am really struggling not to think about it every second of every day. I am so desperate to start trying but DH is putting it off until we have finished work on the house. For now then i will sit quietly at the back of the bus watching your profress and let you know when im properly joining you. Fingers crossed to you all.

ginandcake · 28/05/2016 08:41

Neon sorry AF got you, fingers crossed next cycle is the one.

Rausten fingers crossed for you.

Aubergine welcome, how long have you been TTC?

When my best friend rang me up to tell me she was engaged I was about 6 weeks pregnant. She was a bit pissed off at as she said she would have to delay the wedding (she wanted to get married quite quickly to get one with some baby making get own!). Anyway she soon realised she was being ridiculous and had the wedding exactly when she wanted. And I was there with my 3 week old DD!

dynia · 27/05/2016 10:01

Some friends are staying with us for the long weekend (which FF tells me is my fertile period) while they flat hunt. We met for dinner and my friend clocked my cocktail and said, 'well, that answers that question...' I resisted the urge to say, 'we're working on it... make yourself scarce this weekend'

LemonLimeTonic · 27/05/2016 09:46

We have a family wedding in Australia next April. It's assumed we will fly over it. Funny thing is, the bride and groom to be we're in London a few weeks ago. We tried to meet up with them but they were 'too busy' to catch up. We cancelled and rescheduled all our plans to suit them and they were just like - nah, we know we said we'd meet up but can't because we're busy. Eh??? Rude much???

So needless to say, we're not 100% sure if we will be going to the wedding. We haven't told anyone in the family. We just might be too busy with a new baby/ growing a baby. (Hopefully!!!)
