Good luck sooz I'm cd17, 2dpo so hopefully we'll get our BFP's around the same time!

SoozC · 03/06/2016 09:22

We've used preseed for the first time this cycle and my DP was impressed! My EWCM is sometimes there and sometimes not so it's helpful and you don't need much.

I had a temp shift this morning so reckon I'm ovulating. Trying to DTD more than the last few fertile windows. But I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll track symptoms like last time but I had all kinds and ended up with a BFN. So keeping a level head this cycle.

Eva30 · 03/06/2016 08:38

tryingtostayrational how are you getting on? Have you tested? We need a BFP!

Sienna9522 · 03/06/2016 07:37

Thanks guys, hope I am just being negative and get a lovely surprise in 2 weeks xx

Mammyashy1 · 03/06/2016 01:16

Hi I'm new to ttc blogs and thought I would jump into this one of its ok. I came off the pill and waiting of my first 'real' bleed before staring to try (very excited) CD25 and analysing every twinge thinking is this my period I hope so!! (Bet I will be thinking the opposit next month lol)

TryingToStayRational · 02/06/2016 22:56

Sienna and Lelly, it's way too early to give up - implantation doesn't normally even happen until 7-10 days after ovulation so you wouldn't expect to feel anything yet, plus plenty of people have no symptoms at all before getting a BFP. It's not over til AF gets you. Chin up and good luck, have got everything crossed for you! FlowersChocolateCake

Eva30 · 02/06/2016 22:22

Welcome usernamegone good idea - you'll soon be a TTC obsessive like all of us!Grin

Usernamegone · 02/06/2016 22:19

Am I too early to join the relaxed thread? My OH and I had the chat about coming off the pill last night as have official stopped taking the pill Smile

I have been on the pill for years so wanted to come off as I don't know how long it will take for my regular cycle to come back. So not really 'actively ttc' but not taking precautions and if it happens it happens 😀

So waiting for AF to arrive!

AlexiaB · 02/06/2016 21:39

Aw Sienna I know how you feel but it's still really early. Try to stay positive. I've got my fingers crossed for you and everyone else in the tww! Xx

Lelly0503 · 02/06/2016 15:40

It's so annoying when you feel the same you did last month, I feel like the month I do fall pg I will just 'know'. I just have a sinking feeling this month that it hasn't happened but 3/4dpo is still so early on and loads of times for symptoms to change and develop xz

Sienna9522 · 02/06/2016 14:32

Well, AF isn't due for 12 days and I could be 3 or 4dpo at most. Last night during the night shift I worked, 1 of my boobs started hurting. This has been a symptom in the run up to AF for 2 out of 3 cycles, although I never had it while my coil was still in. Got a funny feeling I may be out already and feel completely gutted that I know this early Sad

Lelly0503 · 02/06/2016 10:11

This TWW is really dragging, I could be anything between 6dpo and 11dpo and I don't really have any symptoms apart from being really moody and felt sick last two nights. No boob pain or anything else pregnancy relayed. I have no desire to test yet as I can't be bothered to stare at a blank test window for 15 minutes imagining fake second lines but I really would like the next week to hurry up xx

TryingToStayRational · 02/06/2016 09:44

BFN today and pretty sure AF is about to hit anyway (bang on time too). Thankfully have a weekend away to look forward to and can enjoy a glass of wine. Onward to June shagathon!

I haven't used preseed but have used fertility check lube from Boots which is along the same lines - have found it useful when natural lubricant is slightly lacking - sorry if TMI!

dynia · 02/06/2016 08:34

House guests are gone! We came home from work on Tuesday and lounged about in bed and talked about our day.

BD on CD15 and late on CD16.
Negative OPK last night (CD16) and positive one this morning (CD17, FMU). From my chart last month, I seemed to have ovulation pain (or a funny cramp) while walking to yoga at about 5pm. Away tomorrow night so will try for one more BD tonight.

I was really disappointed last month but need to remind myself that even with perfect timing, your odds are still 1/4. We're away to Italy for the week my period is due so hopefully that'll distract me.

jennymac31 · 02/06/2016 08:20

Morning ladies

Well I'm coming towards the end of my fw so will be doing the baby dance for a few more days. Not looking forward to the tww but fingers crossed it'll fly by (highly unlikely but we shall see).

If I don't get bfp this month than I'll definitely buy either preseed or or conceive plus. Dh is quite keen to try out preseed so might buy some.

Hope you're all well xx

Eva30 · 01/06/2016 19:33

I used Pregnacare during cycle 1 but it made me feel very bloated and don't feel like it made any difference, plus it's expensive, so now I'm just on folic acid

AlexiaB · 01/06/2016 18:54

I've purchased Conceive Plus to use this cycle as I wanted to try anything that might help! Any of you ladies have any thoughts/opinions on that vs. Preseed?

LemonLimeTonic · 01/06/2016 16:59

Thanks Lelly. This is our first month TTC. I think I will order some and give it a go next month. My CM fluctuates as well. Can't help to give it a go!

Lelly0503 · 01/06/2016 15:48

Hi lemon, preseed is a lubricant that's safe to use while ttc'ing and is supposed to mimic fertile CM. It's not cheap, if you google it there's loads of reviews and success stories- not sure how viable they are. We used it as I noticed I didn't get a lot of CM however I did this month so we only used it when we rele needed it. It can be used like a lubricant or it comes with mini syringes to insert it! X

LemonLimeTonic · 01/06/2016 15:08

Lelly Sienna - what's preseed all about.

Lelly0503 · 01/06/2016 14:38

this is my second cycle using it. I did read so much online about people who conceived first go so I massively got my hopes up! It's good though it does help xx

Sienna9522 · 01/06/2016 13:27

If I don't get a BFP this cycle, I plan on using preseed. Lack of CM is definitely an issue for me

Lelly0503 · 01/06/2016 11:42

sienna definitely good luck! I have a load of ovulation tests and preg tests as I bought preseed and it came with them. I used the ov tests last month and it was while we were on holiday in the US and I do think the time difference played havoc and we probably ended up Dtd at the wrong time! Is anyone else using preseed? X

user1464770416 · 01/06/2016 11:19
