Relaxed TTC June/July/Beyond

I'm sorry starmist I hope next cycle is lucky for you I think you need to try and stop putting pressure on yourself although I can't imagin how I will be on my TWW. Maybe try and find some time to pamper yourself. Does your sister know your trying? Maybe she doesn't realise how down it makes you when she's complaining on the other hand maybe she's having a hard pregnancy? Try and support her even if it's hard for you because hopefully very soon she will have to repay the favour xx

mammyashy we've been trying since January which I know isn't long at all in the scheme of things but it feels like ages.

sienna I think TTC sends us all a bit crazy!

AF has arrived today. She clearly just turned up late to mess with my head. It really doesn't help that my sister is pregnant & is constantly moaning about it. I've been upset today but DH thinks I'm overreacting. I just need to snap myself out of it & focus on this next cycle now.

I think I have gone absolutely nuts! I have at least 6 - 8 days until AF is due and I did a FRER this morning. I've been looking at the test all day imagining a second line. I convinced myself I could see a second line but DP is having none of it! This TWW has been one of the hardest so far, I've even been asking DP if my nipples look any different. Oh dear

Aw starmist fingers crossed for you don't lose hope their is still a chance of AF ain't showed up how long you been trying? X

Starmist We all know how you feel. It is stressful and horrible for us who don't get lucky quickly. Let it all out here and we will listen. I hope you feel a bit happier soon. Big hugs.

Thanks Alexia I used 2 Boots digital tests earlier in the week & an Early Response today, which I was convinced would give me a BFP but it didn't. There wasn't even a hint of a second line. I haven't been stressed at all, I've been much more relaxed than I normal this month

Starmist which test did you use? I don't want to give you false hope but sometimes BFPs don't show up for a couple weeks or even longer, so there's still hope. Have you been very stressed? That can obviously delay AF. I feel you though- ttc is horrible and upsetting, our bodies play so many tricks on us! Fx you find out what's up soon x

I had stopped following this thread. Everything was just feeling so stressful so I deleted my apps & unfollowed these threads to try & put TTC out of my mind. I haven't caught up on everything but I see there have been some BFPs, congratulations!
I'm 8 days late. Just done another test & its BFN. I'm so upset. I don't know what's going on. I've been having regular 31 day cycles since coming off the pill in September. I'm so sick & tired of this TTC business, it's so emotionally draining & I just wasn't prepared for how hard it would be

No AF yet. Never wanted AF before! Normally if I missed a pill or two before AF came straight away!

Thanks buttontum but I was happy it came I came off the pill and was waiting for first AF so I could start ttc. I hope your AF doesn't show xx

I jumped out of bed at 6.30 to POAS. BFN, obvs, but am 11 dpo so I guess there's still hope. Feeling like in out this month as BBT is on the decline

AF showed up today cycle 1 of ttc has started :) now to eat choc until AF has passed lol

I've used preseed both cycles so far and is good addition to natural CM and as Sooz said you don't need much. The reviews online are immense so imagined I'd have a first time lucky situation.. No such luck! Approaching end of TWW right now, AF due on wed 8th/thur 9th so trying a test tomorrow but not hugely optimistic. Despite symptom spotting and imagining I had a few fluttery cramps and massive boobs I've been pretty symptom free. Roll on cycle 3 I think ...

Here we go cycle 2! Af finished a few days ago. I think we started too late for cycle 1 and probably missed ovulation so this month we will be trying a bit more. Last month was more about breaking the seal and jumping in headfirst. So to speak.

Another positive OPK last night (and now it just seems stuck on the smiley face so perhaps the peak? Not quite sure I fully understand these things) and a BD. No temperature shift this morning though, but my allergies have been quite bad and I woke up with a dry mouth so perhaps the thermometer couldn't register it.

FF says ovulation between CD17-19 which seems quite late? My cycle seems to be 29-30 days. My first two tracked periods were 28 days and the last one was 30.

AF due around June 17th Eva although I've no doubt I'll test before that!

Oops sorry forgot to say AF got me yesterday as I thought, so here we go again! Wasn't surprised as had only managed one BD during fertile window (I had a migraine one night and then we were away with my mum and the walls were absolutely paper thin so that was a major passion-killer!). Had a chat with DP and he said he's going to get his sperm fully charged and raring to go for this cycle (whatever he thinks that means!), so hopefully this is the one! I've asked him to watch the Great Sperm Race as I think it's a brilliant explanation of the whole thing (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCDECC6C14006053D for anyone who hasn't seen it) and a good reminder of why even if you tick all the boxes in terms of timing it is still completely normal to take a while to conceive.
