Wow all these BFPs! Sienna that is a definite positive congrats! Hopefully this is a lucky thread. I've did some tests over the weekend but all negative. On my last period id started spotting by now but nothing today. If I get through tommorow with no AF I will test as il be late then. I have larger boobs that seem a lot veinier with some stabby pains today. Who knows what tommorow will bring!

Sienna9522 · 08/06/2016 16:13

Did a FRER yesterday and got an extremely faint line so passed it off as an Evap line. Couldn't resist so did an early detection cheapie and think it may be positive. What do you all think?

Congrats xx

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/06/2016 14:46

I actually thought it was a BFN at first becuase i thought I needed a cross. Only realised it was a positive as I was about to chuck it in the bin.

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/06/2016 14:45

Thanks! Well i'm apparently 14 DPO but I'm not sure I think that might be a bit more - it looks very clear compared to when i tested with DD. Due valentine's day apparently.

It's just starting to sink in!

ps2304 · 08/06/2016 14:31

Congrats Bippity! How many dpo are you? Looks very strong!

Cosmicbird · 08/06/2016 14:17

Ah wow, no arguing with that bippity!! Congrats!!!!!!

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/06/2016 13:34

I'm 7days DPO (according to Fertility Friend, suspect maybe only 6). Predicted AF next Thursday. Off on holiday as of Monday so we shall see. Started reading the Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant last night.

Trying to get loads of work done and apply for a job before I go so plenty of distractions.

BippityBoppityBullshit · 08/06/2016 10:51

congrats buttons

I'm in 2 minds whether to test. Last cycle was 29 days, with spotting on the 28th. By the 29 day cycle AF was due yesterday. Expected some spotting Mon/Tues but nothing. I don't want to get my hopes up by testing today incase mother nature has decided to throw a curve ball and delay me by another day.

BD'ing this cycle wasn't very successful. A very poorly DD meant we only DTD 6 days before and the morning of predicted ovulation.

That and I'm still BFing so not sure if I even am ovulating or if that is mucking up my cycles.

Trying to work from home but there is a cheapie in my bathroom calling my name Confused

ButtonTum · 08/06/2016 09:51

mammyashy this was cycle 2. I am very lucky to have had a BFP so quickly clearly but now I'm terrified it won't stay!

ButtonTum · 08/06/2016 09:50

You should do a test before you go and take one with you just in case!

I had metallic taste at 3dpo! fluttery tummy about 7-9 dpo, & general fatigue too in the last week but tbh all very subtle so could have been normal pre period symptoms (except taste I guess).

Mammyashy1 · 08/06/2016 08:50

Yey BFP!! How many cycles did it take you? X

Cosmicbird · 08/06/2016 08:37

Ah yay for the bfp buttons, congrats!

Eva30 · 08/06/2016 07:59

15dpo!!! It really made you wait for it!! I'm only 7dpo, I go on holiday next Weds that'll be 14dpo so I'd like an answer one way or another by then. I'll test from Sunday onwards probably Grin did you have any symptoms? I just constantly feel exhausted but it's probably work tbh. I went to bed at 9pm last night and still had to drag myself out of bed at 5:30 this morning.

ButtonTum · 08/06/2016 07:31

Thanks!!! I burst into tears and DH had to agree that this one was a +!

I'm 15 dpo today. I got a barely visible line (nasa would have had a job) on Monday at 13 dpo too. When are you testing Eva? Fingers crossed!

Eva30 · 08/06/2016 07:19

buttontum it's definitely a positive - congratulations!!! How many dpo are you? I'm figuring when to test...

ButtonTum · 08/06/2016 07:01

That's a positive isn't it.. Tell me I'm not dreaming?

I have put on 5lb in the week since I came off cerazette! I hoped I would lose weight not gain it! However, I am massively bloated today so maybe AF might be making an appearance soon. Would the first bleed be a withdrawl bleed or will it be a 'proper period'?

Mammyashy1 · 07/06/2016 21:15

Aw starmist I get it can be difficult i have 2 half sisters on my dads side and we arnt as close as I wish we where. Maybe as she doesn't know your trying she doesn't understand how hurtful her complaining is. With my daughter I was over the moon I was having her but between the summer heat and morning sickness that only stopped for 3 weeks in the middle I was prone to a winge. Try not to take it personally focus on you x

Starmist · 07/06/2016 20:11

MammyAshy she's my half sister (my mums daughter from her previous marriage). We've always had a difficult relationship & so we aren't particularly close so she doesn't know we're TTC. I do hope that when she has the baby it helps to bring us closer to be honest. You're right I should try to be more supportive now though.

Welcome CosmicBird

TryingToStayRational I am feeling a bit brighter today thanks & I'm trying to keep reminding myself what I do have in my life right now to be happy about, rather than being upset about what I don't have.

ButtonTum fingers crossed for you that its not AF making an appearance.

ButtonTum · 07/06/2016 19:39

Starmist I think we all know how you feel. Let it all out here and hope that helps

Sienna I have been doing exactly the same things with my DH! I was convinced I got a v v v faint positive Monday but DH thinks I'm nuts & already ha his mind on the next cycle.

AF due tomorrow so I think one more test if she doesn't arrive by the morning then will see. Started cramping so think I'm out Sad

TryingToStayRational · 07/06/2016 00:00

Awww Starmist it sucks, doesn't it? It's ok to get upset, it is really frustrating. I don't think anyone knows until they start ttc and it doesn't just happen immediately how they will feel, but judging by how many of us are on here plenty of people do find it tough. Most things in life you can work hard towards and eventually make them happen but apart from the obvious there isn't much we can do, which is blimmin frustrating. Hope you soon feel a bit better and this is your lucky cycle.

I find googling ttc humour images can help make me see the funny side when I'm feeling a bit fed up with it all. The one at the top is one that I found during my first properly obsessed cycle and helped me realise I needed to get things a bit more in proportion! X

Eva30 · 06/06/2016 22:31

cosmicgirl welcome and hats off to you for having the energy to dtd after I imagine a busy day with 5DC!!!

Cosmicbird · 06/06/2016 20:59

Can I join in here? Trying to be relaxed about ttc but found myself getting v upset last month when AF arrived so clearly not as relaxed as I thought I was! Have 5 DC and just doing a "lets see what happens" kind of a thing with regard to one more, it's always been our approach but before I would have temped/charted and this time I'm not. Anyway, in my fertile week round about now so plenty of dtd and we will see!
Good luck to everyone!
