Obsessed with pregnancy tests...

I fear I'm become a bit obsessed with pregnancy tests!

Small chance I might have caught this month, "period" came early and I wondered if it might be implantation, but I have literally POAS about 4 times over the last 3 days... I'm also obsessed with looking at pics people have posted looking for faint lines.

Most people seem nervous about testing and want to wait to avoid a BFN falsely but I just can't stop...Someone stop me!

Yorkshire that's such wonderful news!! I imagine that it must be difficult after a m/c to be relaxed about everything but have my fingers crossed that all will be ok for you this time xx

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 27/05/2016 09:20

Sorry to hear that coolchic Flowers Here's to next month Wine

Coolchic12 · 27/05/2016 09:18

Congratulations MissClarke, Writer and Yorkshire. Sadly my "line" must have been evaporation or something as I tested this morning and bfn. Oh well the poas continues☺️😂.

yorkshire (and anyone else this applies to) we have a thread here for ladies pregnant after a loss for support, reassurance, freak outs and generally a bit gentler than some of the very excitable AN clubs. Do come and join us Smile

Thank you everyone. I followed this up with a Boots digital and got an unequivocal pregnant. I am a little bit thrilled and a lot more terrified. My last pregnancy, three years ago, ended in miscarriage. My first target is to get to 9 weeks. I can't believe we have even got this far. We were supposed to be having IVF in April but I pulled out as my follicle count was low and I decided it wasn't worth putting myself through the trauma for such low odds of success. This was our first month of not TTC. We only shagged once. I am amazed.

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 08:38

Such lovely news yourkshire - how wonderful, you must be over the moon!!

MissClarke86 · 27/05/2016 07:20

Congratulations lawyer and Yorkshire!! Both undoubtedly positive ! Grin

My FRERs aren't getting any darker and might even be getting lighter, so trying not to get excited until I can see progress.

Ok line spotters, can you take a look at this one and tell me to stop being so daft. Have secondary infertility and been TTC #2 for 5 years. Have pretty much given up trying now, but now on day 31 of what is generally a 28 ish day cycle, so I thought I may as well use up my stash of Internet cheapies with fruitless POASing. I could spot a v faint line on two of the three sticks I peed on. Am I deluding myself and is this just an evaporation line / figment of my rather desperate imagination.

I think you should test tomorrow Grin

lawyeredout82 · 26/05/2016 21:10

I'm not sure how long it took for the line to come up as i looked at it and thought bah it is negative and then picked it back up over 30 mins later and did a good squint. So could be well outside of the time period!! I'll test again on Saturday to see if anything different happens

MissClarke86 · 26/05/2016 20:49

There's definitely a line. Personally I've never seen an evap line, and I find the FRERs take a little while to properly develop. How long did it take for the line to come up?

lawyeredout82 · 26/05/2016 20:17

MissClarke I may need to remortgage the house to spend on pregnancy tests! I've looked at it again and there's definitely a line - you have to look at it in the light and squint very hard but there is an evap or something line. AF due on Sunday so should know soon enough but will keep you all posted

MissClarke86 · 26/05/2016 20:06

Lawyer I can see a line on that first one. I'd be tempted to think it's positive! Test again in a day or two and let us know!!

Rememberallball · 26/05/2016 19:58

I had what could have been implantation bleeding 14 days ago and af is due any time but no signs - yet!!

I've been poas every day for the last 10 days or so!! Blush I think I might get myself a frer or a Superdrug own brand for tomorrow's fmu (which I'll put to one side first thing!!) I do have some Clearblue (non digital) tests but understand they are less sensitive so decided not to use waste them just yet!!

Sunnydays321 · 26/05/2016 19:47

Eeeeakk miss clarke!!! Amazing line! Congratulations. See it's ok to pee on 6 million sticks. If you try hard enough eventually the lines will appear! Xxx

lawyeredout82 · 26/05/2016 19:33

Sorry slightly better pic attached - you really do have to squint though!!

Here is what probably doesn't count as I have only just taken the photo now but the test was done this morning. Can anyone else see the indent line or am I going mad??

MissClarke86 · 26/05/2016 17:08

I think I'm 12DPO. The lines are still quite light though. Dont loose hope!!

lawyeredout82 · 26/05/2016 17:06

Congrats missclarke! How many dpo are you? I did a test on a frer this morning (10 dpo) and could only make out what I think is an indent line...yours is much stronger than what I had Xx

MissClarke86 · 26/05/2016 16:54

I agree with you about the chromatography, I like the science behind it. It's like magic!

ICs aren't showing positive yet for me, but FRER and digital I bought today are!

I have found my people!

I used to love magic pens/ink and chromatography etc as a child, I think it's a bit like that... Grin
Even when I've done pg tests in the past worrying and wanting to NOT be pregnant, I've always been a bit secretly miffed that I have "failed" to make the magic lines appear.

Here's my latest batch. Daily internet cheapies since 10 DPO. The increasingly dark line is a thing of beauty Smile
