Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Oh kwick only time I'll ever say this, but hurry up AF.

Think I've passed my assessment, in true style they decided to not inform us of our results until after bank holiday (I don't want to out myself too much but, you know, it's quite important for progressing within chosen career path - you'd think they could manage a quick yes/no phonecall) I know someone who was assessing who gave me the tiniest of nods so I'm breathing slightly easier until Tuesday. I have celebrated with Prosseco and Aldi lamb burgers!! If it's not the right result come Tues, at least I enjoyed tonight - and a week of stress and forgetting about TTC means it's almost rabbit week!!!

kwick · 27/05/2016 19:38

Ooooo marmite colouring books is my new thing... My SIL got me some from charity shop she volunteers in Grin

pug Flowers

sucha I get bright yellow wee-wee, probably from seven seas supplement but I DO NOT CARE as packaging is purple which is my fav colour

What us b&m bargains? Have only poundlamd near me Sad

Still no sign of af, week 5 complete... This is agony AngryAngryAngryAngry

marmitetoast1 · 27/05/2016 19:09

starky gaaah did you?! I've had them on and off for over two weeks now no idea what's going on! Each time I've been convicted AF about to start. Will see what happens tomorrow.
B&M as in the shop b&m bargains?! Would never have thought to look there, thanks for tip!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 27/05/2016 17:41

CB digi aren't sensitive at all. My recommendation is the b&m 2 for £1.49. I think they're a 10iu. They also do the cheap ic's 3 for a £1.

marmite I had af cramps the whole way through my tww and still occasionally get them now. It's like the boobs, don't trust them!

marmitetoast1 · 27/05/2016 16:51

Ha, tried to play it cool but felt like a sweaty sneaky teenager!!

Going to poas with fmu tomorrow if still no AF. Have realised that the clearblue i used a few days ago was only actually 25 sensitivity, thought it was 10...
Although, I have periody cramps again at the moment. Maybe they finally actually mean it this time.

SuchaJem · 27/05/2016 13:51

Haha marmite I did exactly the same BlushBlush so paranoid!

Moose - see what you mean about the luminous pee Shock

marmitetoast1 · 27/05/2016 12:55

Have just nipped out to boots on my lunch and took advantage of the bogof on FRERs! Was v aware I was just around the corner from work and in a queue full of office workers buying meal deals haha. They are burning a hole in my bag now.....

Pigsbum · 27/05/2016 09:03

Thanks bluebird - it's 10 today...! I am keeping my fingers crossed Smile

SuchaJem · 27/05/2016 08:47

So true rosey

Rosey135 · 27/05/2016 08:29

Funny how the first half of the cycle can come around so quick and the ttw wait feels like forever!!

SuchaJem · 27/05/2016 08:18

Sorry pug, hope you're alright xx

Day 8 today, that's come around quick. Guess I should start up the DTD Hmm

bluebird3 · 27/05/2016 07:11

Sorry pug. Sucks doesn't it? Flowers

bluebird3 · 27/05/2016 07:10

pigsbum that looks positive to me ova can vary by a few days month to month so may just be a bit later this month? See how many days it is until your next AF (hopefully 9 months!) it should be 10-14 days for the luteal phase.

Pugmummy87 · 27/05/2016 06:47

Well I'm out. Put me down for 26th June please Jem

Onto cycle 7.

marmitetoast1 · 26/05/2016 22:30

Thanks jem I had vaguely heard of agnus cactus but not sure of the official line on it? I'm always a bit wary of taking random supplements as I have ibs and worry about random things setting me off! May have to keep it in mind though.

kwick we are in same boat. The more you want it to arrive the more it won't huh?! Angry Been doing some of my Orla Kiely colouring book this evening in an attempt at calm and mindfulness..... AngryAngry

Pigsbum · 26/05/2016 22:18

Sorry, I should add I'm always on a 26-28 day cycle so to get this on day 17 is weird - isn't it? Confused

Pigsbum · 26/05/2016 22:15

Hi all, I haven't really posted much since I joined this thread but am now looking for a little advice please (I promise once I know what I'm doing I'll stop asking and start helping...) I'm on day 17 of this months cycle, no sign whatsoever of ovulating - until now maybe? I am going to try and attach a pic of an opk and hoping for some opinions - is it positive??

Still no sign of afAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

SuchaJem · 26/05/2016 21:49

I'll be on wee watch thanks moose

Marmite do you take any supplements to help cycle regularity? I think I read agnus castus helps, but I could be wrong... Kwick?!

marmitetoast1 · 26/05/2016 21:20

That podcast sounds great HankPeach thanks for sharing!

inspector thanks for the heads up, trip to Boots now planned this weekend!

Thanks Jem yes, very frustrating. Starting to panic about never having AF again. Which is clearly counter-productive. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, which I'm doubting, this will end up being even longer than first post-pill cycle last month Sad

Mooseville · 26/05/2016 21:08

Watch out for those pregnacare ones jem turned my pee bright yellow! Swapped to seven seas as it kept dreaming be out - and they're blinking huge!

SuchaJem · 26/05/2016 20:56

Thanks for the podcast recommend Hank! I love a podcast, this one sounds great. I'm similar stats to you - 32 but cycle 6 now for me Smile

Better luck this cycle for you.

HankPeach · 26/05/2016 19:46

Should have said ETD 18/19th of June

SuchaJem · 26/05/2016 19:46

Inspector - bargain 👍🏼

Lemonlime your testing date should be the date AF is due. I'll put you down for 23rd Smile

Marmite how frustrating Envy I'll leave you in June without a date

Waves at starky ✋🏼

Sorry about AF Bluebird will add you on for June xx

Peaches have a lovely date night!

We have DH 's grandparents wedding this wedding Hmm they are so sweet, been together forever but not tied the knot. Big family get together in Yorkshire. I've pushed the boat out and got the £8.99 Pregnacare conception support pills for cycle 6. Come on now!

HankPeach · 26/05/2016 19:39

Hi guys,

I massively disappeared from the interweb for a bit. I'm sorry. Had to work out how I wanted to manage this whole ttc malark.

It's such a ball ache of a probably worthwhile, yadiyadiyada, lesson in letting go.

I'm still going, with AF having slapped me round the chops with a cycle 5 wet mackerel just yesterday.

kav such et al im sorry things have been a bit shit. pug I'm gonna keep the faith! Fx fx fx fx. Sorry to everyone else who is still dreaming of being a grad.

I just wanted to pop on and share a podcast that I have found massively informative. Only listened to couple of episodes but I think it's pretty ace. Ive listened to one on how to time sex to optimise your chances and one on identifying menstrual irregularities and learnt loads from both. Nice laid back chatty vibe too.

Fertility Friday Podcast pca.st/YyMS

Right back on it.
